About the Polty throwing: I was watching Psycho the other day and he mentioned that he believed there is a recently added bug currently that stops the polty throwing items during a hunt that had already thrown. That's similar to the issue you described with the explosion, but a bit different. Might be worth confirming that he's also noticed issues and bug reporting. I think he hypothesized items moved by players might fix his bug, but that clearly didn't happen here.
So that means that the mimic, from the games perspective, not just gets the traits of an other ghost type, but literally becomes that different ghost type for the time.
id rather "survive a triple kill hunt". requires nightmare+, full team, and all members be in the location and three get taken down. the hunt extension makes that last person very lucky to get out alive!

My case # also got reset after switching PCs, and it seems some others have had the same issue. Is this a fixable issue without direct help from the devs? A video on the topic might be a helpful go-to resource
I rly like that they added achievments but the bugs are so annoying and frustrating at the moment that I stopped playing early witch is rly sad. I hope they gonna fix them soon! But of course I still love this game and enjoy it❤
I just logged into Phasmo for the first time since achievements were added. I got the Prestige I achievement despite only being level 84. I'm not sure that they're implemented entirely correctly.
Do we know for sure how smudge sticks work now? Last time I checked in on Phasmo they applied an instantaneous effect when they started burning and again when they stopped, but lately you don't seem to be using them that way. Do they have several 'ticks' now?

Super very extremely true, which is why the wage slavery and criminally low federal minimum wage we have here in America is so crippling. But I think it's on purpose, not just in the way that every major corporation throws millions of dollars at the legislative system so that they can pay their employees as little as possible (which is absolutely a thing that happens regularly and LEGALLY, thanks Citizen's United and the Supreme Court for fucking us on that one), but also as a means to keep their employees as desperate and impoverished as possible. A halfway decent wage allows for all kinds of things which would enable a person to seek more favorable employment elsewhere, but if you're poor? Then you're desperate.
Man please harass CJ to remove the T3 smudge swing, it's back to useless ;_; so immersive to look down at my nonexistent lower body but at least the smudge is swinging.

Actually, they may be able to fix the smudge stick with a "layer override" that excludes collision with the player. StackOverflow is a good resource.

My first ghost was a demon that never wanted to hunt, was real sad that she didnt start hunting til I was like 20 sanity

Had you played phasmo before the update that added prestiges and the new level system? If so you get prestige 1 by default
