I always like when they give a reason for their choice. "It's more subtle"... "More sophisticated." Etc. It gives some context.

In general what i observed is that young girl prefer EDP and mature women preferred classic old EDT.

Loving your vlogs & reviews, very entertaining plus you have a lovely, jovial & bubbly persona which adds to your charm & charisma.
I have the EDT formulation of "La Nuit" & I also own a bottle of "L'HOMME" the original although the current one I own is a reformulation, a far cry, or dare I say a much weaker projection from that of the first-ever bottle of this fragrance that I bought back in 2008, That original scent was simply to die for although "La Nuit" is an amazing flanker.
I have to get my nose on the EDP although I can't see me purchasing that, not while I still have a fair amount left of the EDT. Keep up the good work.

Got here almost randomly (just because I looked at some videos about ysl la nuit de l'homme).
Great idea about this content. To me it seems less close than the outcome was. (The clear difference seems to be the age factor. Young teens seemed to prefer EDP, while women went for EDT).
Useful video. I clearly got Italian vibes from this cutie and some clear answers.

I took a tester home of edp thinking it wasn’t anything special. After spending some time with it I fell in love. I now own both and prefer edp
I have both, la nuit Edt and eau de parfum, but i prefer the Edt version, 10 years later and still a winner. You are a amazing women too!!! Nice vídeo Andrea!👍😉

I own YSL La Nuit de L'homme EDT and reacts extremely well on my skin and I have received many compliments wearing it. I don't own the EDP and I need to get my nose on it. Great vid Andrea!!! 😉👌🏽
I own both of them and i can say that Edp version is a beast for cold days .. but edt is better for compliments getter

@@jadonfyeet7461if the edt performance is weak for you grab the edp. Got edt 2 times but bought the edp now, crazy scent but i preffer the edt little bit more, but performance sillage and longelivity is greater on the edp.

Back on the smell, I like the EDT version. It's appetizing, warm but i find it too soft and subtle, leans a bit feminine in my opinion. Haven't tried yet the edp, will do probably soon.

I'm a newbie in the fragrance world. I blindbought the 200 mL EdT bottle because of the many great reviews. I'm glad I did. It smells heavenly! And my 2017 batch bottle has a good sillage as well ❤️
oh no, reformulated. EDP or Bleu Electrique is the way
@@mamia06 I've sniffed the second reformulation of it, and I prefer my bottle... rounder and less harsh in the beginning
@@edwardjohn5 No one can smell it unless you’re dating a girl and always close to you. It is so weak in projection and longevity
EDT is very just…mediocre. Sure smells good but it’s overrated. Like Sauvage and Creed Aventus.
Usually prefer EDP over EDT but in this case I thought they're both very distinct from each other. The original smells more sophisticated, mature, and sensuous over the new EDP, which comes off very fruity to me.

I think EDT&EDP works very well together. Feels like the best is to spray EDT on yourself in the morning, cause the cardamom is the most strong in it, then you have a nice bright but mysterious fragrance which is good for business too, and then spray (over) the EDP for your evening hangout / meeting / date...
Yeah I think layering them would be best

Love these real reaction surveys. I've gotten some compliments on edt version. Haven't tried the edp yet. Seems some like the subtle hints of edt while other's liked the younger vibrance of the edp.

Both are great and it’s very subjective depending on the man it’s on as well. Right now, I prefer the EDP, since it is it’s own scent, HANDS DOWN. Although it is from the same line, it has its own nuance from to dry. Plus it does have better longevity.
Definitely agree with you! Although I do get the original DNA in the EDP, but I agree it's a scent of its own :)

Saw this back in the day and just watched it again. Almost a tie - which to me is unbelievable! Cause I always thought the original EDT was the best thing I have ever smelled. Then I got a 5ml sample of EDP and initially thought - meh - but then it kind of grew on me and I was sad when the little bottle was gone, so I am now investing in a 100 ML of it. So now 4 of my 6 fragrances are of the YSL house! All winners!!

Nemanja Perendija la nuit is not longlasting anymore. It projects on my skin only one hour. Now it's just a water. The one is stronger.
@@dominykasbutkevicus1917 Well, I think that depends on skin. I own La nuit batch from 2017, it lasts about 12 hours, with moderate projection, far away from weak scent. A the other hand, The one lasts also 12 hours, but way more weak then La nuit. There is no rule.

My favorite perfume is Tom Ford Tobacco Oud. 🔥
This cologne is very different. I put it my top 5.
Not the most sexy but the distinct scent is what drives me to used it.
Love your good spirit. Own both and feel that La Nuit de l’Homme edt is a masterpiece. The Eau de parfum might need some time to develop...

EDP needs to get rid of that awful dirty leather smell on the dryoff.
Hi Andrea :) I think the best way to make these kind of duels is by spraying on your hands. The smell comes from a paper is usually too different from the scent on the body, and I guess you know that. The smell on a body draw also more genuine reactions...
Hehe sorry, I just hate smelling fragrances from a paper.
