Nitzer Ebb, FRONT242, KMFDM, Ministry & Skinny Puppy = I love You all as YOUR Sound built & shaped my industrial Love into a pure adrenaline Junkie of Synth! :)
First time I saw them live was in 1990, Showtime tour, opening for Depeche Mode. I was 17, the new girlfriend (1st date) was 16. We get to The Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) about a hour from my house, excited for what's to come, with tickets in hand. Get in the venue, spread our blanket on in the top of the grass at the amphitheater. Nitzer Ebb atarted this track, but playing on huge kettle drums together. The 4 plus hours of DM and NE that night with my first date was quite possibly the best first date I ever had. The memories. Oohhh, the memories.....
First time ever even hearing of NE was when they opened for Depeche Mode here in NJ/NYC during World Violation Tour in Summer 1990. They in fact started with this song and everyone was blown away!
I've missed their conserts all through the 00's and 10's, unfortunately. Been a big fan of theirs since the mid 80's, and attended a couple of their concerts, on Stockholms rather small, but really nice, venues during the 80's and 90's. Had a ticket for one of their concerts in, I believe, 2019 in Stockholm. But, again, I laid in bed sick. Once again I missed another chance to relive the heavy and heartfelt feelings I have for this extraordinary band. Nitzer Ebb was, when they were evolving as a band during the late 80's and early 90's, truly biggest of them all in this genre. My greatest and most honest love and kudos to this band! They changed my musical path and paved my way into listening to what soon became genres like techno. Thank you ever so much, Nitzer Ebb 👊🤜👍
Showing some Detroit love for a band I've loved since the 80's and have had the pleasure to meet a handful of times. All the best - Jason Kefalas [Corporate Sellout]
My Chicago friend turned me on to industrial in the late 80s. Nitzer Ebb was my absolute favorite. Join in the Chant will always be my favorite... but this song is a close second.
I MUCH prefer this to the LONE KEYBOARD DUDE VERSION that we have in 2022 (I am a keyboardist, no hate. you KNOW what I mean). WHY are they doing this?

No, this was originally produced by Flood (the whole album "Showtime" in fact) - Alan produced them a year later ("Ebbhead" album and singles)...
They still sound fantastic!!
It's electronic.
j'ai chanté dans le micro l'année d'avant, 2005, quand ils passaient sur la scène intérieure. un moment fou, sur joint the chant
Fuck yeahhhh.......let's stomp
The sound was a perfect blast that day, it´s simply bad videoquality here. One of the concerts which made EBM alive again.
