Thank you Mary, and a big congratulations on passing your bike test. The Suzuki is a great little starter bike, we actually regret selling it now, I know theirs some cheaper Chinese bikes but the Suzuki is far better quality and you’ll alway get a good re-sell price if you can buy at the right price. Ride safe and enjoy.
I have it in the same color, have had it for about 2 and a half years now, everytime there is a mirror or a any reflective surface around me in stoplights I sneak a peek .. she looks so beautiful. And it's such a brilliant ride. Pokey, precise handling, insane brakes (I've ridden a cb500f and the Suzuki has better brakes). And it's built very well . No issues so far .. was definitely extremely lucky to get it . Last one that was sold in my country, they stopped importing them here.. and I bought the last one they had.
Hi Keven, I can’t wait to have go myself (roll on the sunny days) this was the end can I bought a 400mm Oval Black Stainless Slip On Silencer from black widow. I only had to buy the end because the bike had already had a black widow full system when we bought it. Happy rides Kev.
@@thatbikersimon if I wasn't wanting to travel on the highway a bit I would be getting one myself was definitely a fun bike but I'm going for a 300 just for the highway ability, excellent video by the way
Hi Mark, I would honestly say yes. one of the reasons we bought this bike was because of it low seat height. If I was you I would probably go for KTM or a Yamaha MT 125 if I remember correctly these were great bikes for taller people.
A little late to the conversation, however, well done Amy, has she took her theory and past her A2, if so, has she got a new bike? Is there a video on her motorbike journey?? Great, vid, 👍👍
Unfortunately she’s back to square one as she broke her wrist a week before the full bike test and it’s taken a while to get right. But on a positive note she got a new 125cc bike again and will be back in the saddle soon 👍
@@thatbikersimon Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully, she will be able to to take the test and pass soon, will there be more follow up vids? I've shown this video to my Mrs, she's about 5.3, so similar height, well a little shorter than Amy, I'm encouraging her to start taking lessons, so to actually watch a female newbie learning and watching her journey is working and the choice of bikes would be a good indication, of what she needs for when she starts taking lessons. 👍
@@snakeman9902 she’s absolutely fine with the situation and looking forward to riding again, yes we do plan on putting a few videos together and the bike we now have is a perfect learning bike. It’s a minor set back for Amy but she has the bike ready to ride so I’m sure you’ll be seeing content on this very soon 👍
@@snakeman9902 it’s was only sold because of her bike test coming up and we was going to buy a 300cc or something like that but then accident happened and we had already sold the bike in hindsight we would of kept it.
@thatbikersimon sorry I'm new to this. I have the same bike. I filles up yesterday when it showed 1 bar left flashing I did 150mile. But my tank only filled up to around 8 litres
I should know this but I’m guessing 5ft 5 but these bikes are so light you won’t need to flat foot. You’ll be fine with sliding your ass to one side or the other if height is a issue
Unfortunately for her, she broke her wrist and it didn’t heal correctly, so that was a set back. Then she stated back having the lessons again on the MT07 and ended up in hospital again with another issue. So she’s not had much luck so the plan is to start again in the new year. She’s keen to crack on tho 👍
Nice video, I’ve booked a cbt and I’ve decided to buy the same bike -a GSX s 125 in blue ! All at the ripe age of 49 ! Take care you two ❤
That’s great news it’s a excellent first bike. You’ll. seen get the bug for Riding. Good luck and ride safe 👍🏍️💨💨💨
Thanks for the video, I too have just passed my CBT and looking for my first 125. This is awesome and my fav so far

One thing to get ingrained right from the start is shoulder checks and frequent exaggerated mirror checks (the examiners love those).
This is very true I’m not Instrutor but your right it’s important 👍
Amy done good. 😎 A lot more competent than me on my first ride, that's for sure. Welcome to the motorcycling family. 😃
Awesome first ride girl great rider have fun both of you be safe class videos 👍❤️
Thank you! Will do! Thanks for watching
Nice bikes and nice couple! Greets from Spain
Thank you Hattori 👍
Fantastic, well done to Amy 👍🏻👍🏻
Good luck with your theory. Nothing beats being free on 2 wheels best thing ever 👍🏍
Many thanks.
it s cool to see how the bike looks from another vehicule perspective. it s gorgeous !!!
Many thanks. A great little bike definitely one of the best on the market

Hi ! Fantastic bike, have it since 2 years and i still enjoy it 😋
Could you tell me which Black Widow is on yours please?
Thanks

just used one of these for my learner course and was actually quite fun more responsive than I expected for such a small bike that's for sure
Excellent. We are kinda regretting selling it now because it was ideal bike for commuting short distances. Fantastic on fuel and easy to ride.

Hi Simon, great video, you’ve earned a sub. I have a quick question, at 6ft 2 would I be too tall for the gsx s125?

Loughborough...nice food in that truck stop😅
I’m a regular there John. 👍
Fuel prices are tha same in Australia even the price of food
It’s crazy price for sure 👍
Hi.
Do you still ride this bike?
Not anymore we the the Benelli BN125 now in its place
How many miles do you average from a full tank.
Your probably looking at around 250-270 for a 11L tank that’s amazing 👍
