I'm using wooden kebab skewers ( I cut of the sharp ends) so it works just as well as the pen (just without the ink poisoning)
when the pen accelerates, the ink gets pushed back so it goes everywhere

The couch arrived in two boxes four days early, which was great because we'd just moved into a new house and needed places to sit. Another reviewer suggested inserting the seat into the side and I'm glad they did as the instructions weren't clear on that matter. It's incredibly light and slides easily across the wood floor, making it easy to move. It's firm, but comfortable. It will even be great to nap on. I got the gray, which definitely has strong blue undertones, but I'm okay with that.

I modified the design a bit, the binder clip didn't stay...without that, the rubberband didn't catch much, so I just used a few layers of tape to create a little rectangular tab to hold with the end of the pen barrel..which works consistently :)
I used the empty pen cartridge cases instead of pencils so I can still use them in some way and use them as a quiver to hold the pen cartridges

I attempted to do this project, but it the launching rubber bands wouldn't stay on the black thing so I wrapped it around w/ tape... IT WORKED!!! 😊 my secret is: put the pen refill BEFORE u pull the launching rubber band. What kept happening was the launching rubber band kept releasing BEFORE i could have even put the pen refill in! Also, I put tape covering to refill hole so the rubber band had an easier chance to actually HIT the refill as it got released! Also, if the pencils start moving, put tape over the rubber ands to keep it more secure.. OPTIONAL: if u put tape over the rubber bands,mu could then put another set of rubber bands ON TOP of the tape that's ON TOP of the other set of rubber bands. These tips helped me so they should help YOU! 😛 ima 👍 dis video! Great job man!

You've just given me a reason to go to work today
This crossbow is amazing
This thing here got me banned from College for 14 days for accidentally shooting another student in the neck inserting this color-pen-ink into his blood making him very ill going to the hospitall. The reason it being accidental is that the end part did not hold the rubberband, so it fired on its own will. Fuck my life. Now when I start going back to college I must see the principal every morning for a month talking about safety and health of others.. Fuck MY Life.
It takes a lot of ink to get ink poisoning, did he just sit there and let it soak in? Or did he not notice and like half way through class someone noticed that he had a ballpoint pen in this neck.
Well I se that not explaining every detail can be missleading your understanding. No the pen only stuck itself in the neck for 2 seconds before falling down, which is actually nice force from a pen catapult.
Point is that he got an allergic reaction from it. His skin around the area got very red and started to look dry. He didn't fall in the ground shaking or anything, hahahaha. What makes it so remarkable is that my pen catapult was just lying on the desk (Reloded) and it fired in that guy sitting in front of me. I also used a bigger tougher rubber band.

Russell Shutes If this is even marginally true, which it is not, no one got sick. there is no way more than the tiniest amount of ink leaked out of the tip of a ball point pen cartridge. But it's crap anyway. I can do that too:
I made one last month and used it to fire syringes at my patients. unfortunately I accidently gave a man hormone replacement drugs for a female. I ran from the office but he caught up to me and beat my buttocks with an oversized novelty wooden spoon. a splinter splintered off and lodged in my left cheek, which then festered and converted to inflammitus. Now I have huge boils and redness on my butt. Owie kazowie!
If you were in an American school you would be in a terrorist prison for what you did. Then again if you were a true American you would know better...least how to aim.
