man... i’d love to have like a 500 gallon aquarium. but because of where I live, there’d be twice as much work preparing it. mainly because i’d have to reinforce the floor and area it’d be sitting on.

my nephew caught a baby smallmoth bass a month ago while catching tadpoles we didnt know it till we got home and dumped them in my 10gal setup. its thriving and eats tropical fish flakes. but i know he is going to get bigger and will need something else in its diet. ive searched and searched for info but no luck. i dont want to put him in my 55gal, i have ciclids and corycatfish in it. i have 2 outdoor ponds but arent set up right now. i live in central texas.

I’m not usually abt the comments like “omg how could you do that? That’s terrible!”, I see those on videos of like snakes eating mice and rats but if you fed that snake to the bass, I would’ve had to unsubscribe. Thank you for not doing that.

Aren’t those tanks too small for those bass? It seems like the smaller bass’ tank is the is the same width as the length of the fish.
The smaller one is definitely in too small of a tank. It's a temporary holding tank though while I repair the crack in the pond! Bigger plans are on the way!

What’s the song when you was feeding the bass
To help cut down on the scale waste try using guppies instead, when you move the smaller small jaws over put like 20 guppies in the tank he was in.. in a month you will have 40+... get big guppies to start... anyways it's better for their digestive system as well... from what I've read
Also if you hold the feeder fish by the tail and poke their heads in the water... lol just try it and record it.... the fish wont bite you it's just topwater hand feeding

People been keeping natives for ever . I got yellow bull head in my 55 w blacknosecdace , white sucker , fat heads, creekchub , and green sunfish . I got a 550 or so gal pond w an American eel. Gona get albino channels. Zack from catchemall made bass popular as pets but exotics in ponds too. In ny , my options are more limited obviously than south Florida. Cool fish though bro subscribed
