Hey mate thinking of going here! Those backcountry sections... are you having to walk for an hour to get back to the lifts or are there some nice off piste areas where you can find yourself back at the chairlift without too much hiking out of there?
Hey mate. With myoko you have to put in a couple hours of hiking to get open faces of backcountry. Not a whole on offer within the resort. The nearby resort lotte Arai has much better backcountry style terrain all within the resort. Hope you score some powder!
Wow. What time of year was this? I'm starting to think it might be worth the long return quarantine in Taiwan to take a trip up to Japan. It's been.... more than 10 years since my last snow ride...
@@jackthomas2478 Thanks for the reply. It seems like some of the runs are like... kinda backcountry or something? I don't see any lifts, and I notice you've got a backpack on. What's the story?
Yeah some of that footage is back country. Although majority of it is within the resort. Good thing about Japan is that it gets plenty of snow so you don’t need to head out past the boundaries to find fresh tracks
Lord I hate how jealous I am - also great song selection to start the video.
Hey Jack, great clip. I'm heading there in 3 weeks, thanks for getting the stoke up!
Thanks mate, enjoy your trip!
Nice little edit mate, you scored some great days while you were in Myoko
Thanks mate! I sure am starting to miss it...
yes

This footage was taken through out the season. The best month was February. You won’t regret going! Such an awesome place.
