I roared at that moment! 🤣🤣🤣
Sets are based on your ability. Top set (number 1) is where the brainy ones are, bottom set is where all the thickos are. I was in bottom set (number 8) for maths and omg that particular video is so relatable 😂😂😂
Amen 🙏
@british penguin Aye, I often heard that top sets were more strict like that. There’s no need for it. I don’t know when you went to school but I left in 2002, back then there was no way of cheating your way up 😂 Not in the school I went to anyway.
Oh Nicol, love your self deprecation. 🖖🫡
I was always in bottom set 🤣
@@MissNikNak1 I was in top set for everything except PE and sports games. My year 10 maths teacher (also had her for year 7) was super chill and as long as we got the work done, she didn't care if we chatted and messed about to a degree. She once told my friend if he was going to copy my answers for homework to not hand our books in together and to copy it properly (he got a question wrong that I got right 🤣). Once you were in the top set, you were allowed to have the textbooks that had the answers at the back because they figured that you knew how to do it all anyway.
In 2003 there was no way to cheat that didn't require you to understand the work itself anyway, easier and less stressful just to do it the right way. Never revised, never even tried. I didn't struggle academically but socially? I was 1 step up from the kids who had 0 friends. I still struggle socially.
😂😂😂😂we all know the pain of the clothes dryer collapsing 😂
Omg lockdown David Tennant and Michael Sheen were hilarious! 😂 I was totally convinced one of them was phoenix on Masked Singer ☹️
JT.... did you realise the "You did not paint that!" was David Tennant (Dr Who) & Michael Sheen? 😁
10:59 bottom set is where the dumb people are taught slightly easier stuff then the higher set people
11:40 David Tennant and Michael Sheen. 💕
must admitt best part was when the King asked where. imagine his face if he actually turned up.
The clip at 3:09. That guy is off his head on something. 😂
he came to see her and hang out
I have not once heard the phrase "Cheese and Rice" until now lol!
5:54 did you not realize that he was standing in front of cops with security tags on?
People were moving him so the cops wouldn't see 😂
I was not expecting to see my village in one of these compilations that you watch, that hula hooping runner lives near me! 😂
Gazebo now sold and on way to new customer 😂😂😂🏴
That last clip was my favourite 😂
I live just 20 mins away from that building in Stoke on Trent
100% can confirm Stoke On Trent is like that 🤣 Didn't expect to see my home town but it made laugh!
Absolutely brilliant. I love that you get our humour. God Bless the King.
Yeh I remember cap back JT!!been here since 3k and you've given this bedbound disabled bloke a lot of laughs!👏💜
That hiking woman was funny af 😆
Moskeeterrr love it 😂
That news reporter was the great Jonathan Pie,Definitely worth checking out some of his work.....👀👏😂😂💜
I love it when you cheer me up with random funny stuff JT 👍🏻☺️🇬🇧
Someone send this man some baked beans so that he can experience the glory of a full English breakfast
Also, yes, as a native of Doncaster, it does have it's fair share of weird shit
I just didn't know it was that kinda shit tbh!
Yep, Doncaster here as well. I can confirm its a damn zoo.
Funny how baked beans come from America but are now a typical British dish and barely known in America.
@@ignatiuskhan beans are very popular here in South America, while I lived in Ecuador they were eaten almost every day, not so much in my home country though, but in summer we get "porotos granados" and eat enough to satisfy the craving for the rest of the year 😅.
@@laurainathunderstorm I meant "Baked Beans" as in "Heinz Baked Beans", not just beans ;)
Omg that bottom class one is so true 🤣🤣🤣
I’m from scotland 🤣🤪🏴
Top set and bottom set are the ones who are good and excel in the subject (top set) and the ones who struggle with the subject (bottom set), we had 6 sets in every ‘essential’ subject in my high school. Set 2 for maths, set 1 for English, set 3 for science and set 1 for languages. I say where I was because I’ll never have another chance ever to bring up which set I was in and the kids in set 6 often got bullied and called ‘thick’ which is slang for stupid
Your sisters eye lash on your pillow…… hol’up buddy! What? 😂
I live near where hula hoop jogger runs, lol. We also have a unicyclist and a goth on a bicycle. Something in the water
I love the TikTok reactions. Please do more.
Hope you feel better soon JT. If you don't know JT, those two arguing over a painting are actors, very famous here in the UK, the one who did a pineapple was David Tennant a Scottish actor, who has played Doctor Who & the other actor who did the better painting is Michael Sheen a Welsh actor, he was in Twilight & underworld movies.😎👌🏴
Or said in another way, its The Purple Man from the Marvel show Jessica Jones, and Castor from TRON LEGACY. 😎
@@ebbhead20 Didn't know about those ones, but cool.
@Nicky L I missed them unfortunately.
We’re so mad here brilliant clips thank you😂
10:57 bottom set is known for the geeks and Special Educational Needs kids (SEN) the ones who don't give a shit about the work basically, that's what the bottom set is
The way you say mosquito is the best! 😅🦟
And I still don't know if you ever got my pressies back in December 21.....🤔😭💜
I'm even a member on here.....👀🤔😔💜
The hike with the Girl in Pink ,saw her in one video at the Top of a mountain, he said You look pretty though ,she went ape shit and attacked him .funny as Fuck.
3:47 Man, he has no idea what going there at the palace because he's didn't checked the socials after his work.
I'd have paid to see his reaction later when he realised he called the queens death good, interesting and beautiful
She's done 5 loads of washing = I've opened the washing machine put clothes inside and sat around while the machine does it , you didn't take it to the river and hit it with a stone
@@BP-kx2ig trying to say British mothers say “I’ve done 5 loads of washing” as if they hand cleaned it themselves when in reality the machine has done 5 loads of washing while the mother either got on w other shit or sat on her ass
@@BP-kx2ig basically British mothers make out as if it’s a gruelling task when in reality it’s just putting some clothes in a big hole and watching it spin
@@ieuanmarsh3666they still have to fold it and put it all away
Sort it into colour/fabric type, load machine, unload machine, hang up, fold and put away. Tiring and makes your back ache. While it's washing you are prepring/dealing with previous/next load. Plus doing everything else AND ironing it all. Yes piss easy. P.O.V. Tell me you don't do washing without telling me you don't do washing.
@@karenpenny3973 Tell me you're a woman that overly complicates jobs without telling me you're a woman that overly complicates jobs.
Edit: I just seen your username is Karen.
My school had a top, middle, and bottom set
Bottom set being for the slower kids, middle for the kids that were smart enough but just pissed around too much, and top set for the smart kids that were generally well behaved in class. I was fortunate to never get any lower than middle in any subject
I was somehow always in top set for everything, we had I think 5 levels for maths, so it was more nuanced between sets and there were always a couple of kids who'd bounce between top and 2nd set each term, poor bastards. And presumably between 2nd and 3rd etc.
Our teacher in top set maths used to basically threaten us with the possibility of demotion to the terrible dreaded 'set 2' if we didn't hand in our homework or whatever!
Yep if you can hear a spiders foot steps you are in trouble. Bit of context though, UK spiders are ALL tiny and harmless. 🤣
Except the giant house spider,Eratigena Atrica, which has a leg span of 120mm, or about the size of a compact disc!
it's also the fastest spider in the world
@@andreww2098WHAT
Thank you hilarious 😂
Hilarious thank you for sharing here cheered me right up ❤
I'm from Stoke-on-Trent and can confirm that some estates do that 😂😂😂
Basically, yes bottom set is the lowest set , in my school we have 4 sets ,1 being the highest and 4 the lowest
I pulled the exact same face at the first one!
omg my town is featured in one??
ahhdjd forgot it's a city now
The 2 guys discussing the painting and Pineapple picture Where 2 great actors, David Tennant (Dr Who) and Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon), It was a series of Zoom meetings made for TV During Covid.
Michael Sheen 😀
@@QueeferSutherland1 Definitely. Those two are bffs.
@@QueeferSutherland1 Thank you, of course it is, I just shouldn't try multitasking, lol. I have corrected it now.
@@jasonalldridge5784 Yeah we don't wanna know what your other hand was doing 😁
Just reminds me of how funny and mad the British are
My little sister did the play dough one she asked for black play dough and you can imagine what that sounded like
There are different sets in school in different subjects.
Set one is for the really smart kids and the bottom set (some schools have different numbers of sets) are for the not so smart.
My school has 4 sets and I’m in set twwooo which I’m proud of. :)
Hello from Devon
When your home city appears on JT….. 😂
Pretty sure the cat thing was it was messing about with a primark bag and got its head stuck in the handle and freaked out. Ran downstairs and out the catflap. Luckily the bag broke when the cat flew out the catflap. Cats can die from strangulation on a shopping bag.
Think you might of missed in there, the 2 guys arguing over the painting were famous.. David Tennant and the great Michael Sheen.
Bottom set is...people who need extra help in class. They aren't how it seems in the video..I was in Bottom set in school. But they'll have the teacher then another person as the learning support who will help any kid by sitting by them and explain and help with the work in a way they understand without giving the answers.
Thanks JT, great video
Not wrong with hikes. 1km in and is like "fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! Why you want to kill me?!"
MY guy on the News like the herbs too 🌿 😉
Bottom set is probably what you would call remedial
Primark bags and cats don’t mix
That bit with all the water in Edinburgh is up a hill, so I'm hoping that was a burst water main or something!
Please watch more stuff from Jake Joseph Everett-Rose with his character Henry, its hilarious, I love his skits. Also Maths classes are split by ability, usually Top, Middle, Bottom.
The announcement of the Queens death is placed behind the gates for everyone to see
I'm an o.g o.g literally, it's in the name
I'm from Stoke on Trent. That seemed pretty normal tbh.
You found the front of your hat, well done, you have become an adult!
UK schools are awful for uniforms man, my secondary school had us line up by year group every morning for uniform inspection. If anything they considered wrong was found the student was given detention and had their parents notified 🤦♂️
Your sister eyelashes on your pillow 👀 you really are from kentucky
Sets in secondary school generally cater to the level of learning a student is capable of. It can differ from subject to subject too.
I landed up in the highest set for all my classes, wasn't too thrilled about the extra work though. I think we had 3 sets, 1 being the highest and 3 the lowest, and when you hit year 10 (ages 14-15) you start your 2 years of study toward GCSEs with a mix of mandatory and chosen subjects.
Then there's the added twist regarding science. The number of subjects you can choose depends on whether you study for a single gcse, double, or study sciences separately in which you'll get separate qualifications for Biology Chemistry and Physics. I took this option and this meant that the classes were small, which also generally applied for Set 1. Of course this can change depending on ability
For our school it was similar except the top set was for the people who made the school look better, so good grades, good attendance, no problems for the school whatsoever.. Bottom set was those with disabilities, learning problems, low attendance, low grades, etc..
When it came to picking gcse topics for bottom set maths, English and science were all mandatory subjects that couldn't be swapped for anything and you HAD to pick either history or geography because one was necessary.. You then had to pick 3 more subjects which were of your own choice and of course lower sets didn't have to take a language course, they could choose to either keep or drop (which majority of us did).
Top sets had to do 2 languages until gcses and then 1 lang was mandatory, they had to do both history and geography and the science tests were a lot more difficult and had different questions to that of the bottom set (I only know this because I accidentally sat the wrong mock science test one time though 😂), the same applies to that of the english and maths tests though and then to add to that they had to pick 3 other subjects.. So I'm rather grateful I was in bottom set for bad attendance lol
Edit: also it didn't vary with many subjects, they kept you in the same set unless you did outstanding work but they wouldn't move you very far because our school lacked confidence in it's students and most of the time we got constant reminders on how we'd amount to nothing in life and would only ever fail 😅
@@lilskipper4683 I guess I kinda got a bit of a better deal.... though aside from English we had to do 3 languages until GCSE years, and even then being in Wales, Welsh was mandatory and you only had the option of doing short course. Same with Religious Studies which I hated. (Like I was done with the exam in 15 minutes and got a solid B for writing waffle)
The sets were weird in my school since they had to contest with large student numbers. they only introduced it in year 9 for us and then that was only in preparation for year 10. We didn't mix classes up until this point.
I did want to do double science instead of the separate sciences, but all my teachers pushed me to go for triple just because there were so many students in for double. Science classes were kind of special during the GCSE years since there were only 12 of us and we all spend a lot of time together because of this. All the double award classes were pushing 40 and it was chaos.
We made our own chaos too. Triple science kids were treated different because we spent so much time together. Physics while my poorest of the science subjects was the best. We even had tea breaks, and this was a sworn secret between the teacher and those classes. Nearly got busted a few times because nearby classrooms could smell the brew lol
As a few people have pointed out, "top set" is for the smart/brainy nerds, and "bottom" set is for the idiots (or as you call them, "Americans" 😆)
Hi king JT❤
JT looks better now his beard is trimmed
Don't tell a Muslim to burn something down 😂😂😂
Calm down people it's just a joke 😂😂
Bottom set is in just about ever academic subject and there’s usually top, middle and bottom and bottom is for people who are really struggling with the subject. Generally full of people with diagnosed or undiagnosed dyslexia and or ADHD but a lot of the people in bottom set are chavs who don’t want to be at school at all and make the teachers lives a living hell. It’s just full of bullies bullying the kids who genuinely struggle. Top set is usually full of the teacher’s favourite popular kids who happen to be very smart and always have their noses up their teachers arse 😂 middle set was where it’s at 😂
Bottom set is what you Americans would call a remedial class
I know its not normally your thing... but please react to UK artist Ren and his track Hi Ren... it will change you!
Moody postman 🙄
Nice vidya

As an Englishman I will say that yes, when drunk we will fight for a principle (not just us but our UK brothers as well, the Welsh, Scots and Irish), even if we have NO IDEA what that principle is at the time, we will join in the fight. But you pull the 'Dude, I'm on your side, we are in this together' card and it works, then brother we love you and we are with you into hell itself if it's needed!
What is the original video please
Poor wee lads face shouldnt have been shown (orig ver) cos his parenys couldnt take a tag off. I hope the lad is in a better place.

Teacher is accurate. The only detention I ever got at school was for not wearing my polyester school jumper on a boiling hot sunny day. Teachers all in summer gear tho 🤣
Lol in my school if it's hot outside you still have to come with a sweater and blazer. If it's cold and it's pe they don't let us wear coats outside

Why do British postmen NEVER wear trousers? Winter or summer, they wear shorts. I NEVER wear shorts so could I get a job as a postman here in the UK?
They wear shorts because bare legs dry quicker than trousers when it's been pissing down with rain! 🙄
@@steddie4514 They wear them on dry days and in the summer too.
As a postman I can confirm I wear trousers, I do a rural round, there's to many stinging nettles and ticks to wear shorts where I deliver!
