Hi there!! Yeh 100% happy with the dryer. Definitely lower power usage and really easy to use!! Only downside is that cycles can be quite long! Are you thinking of getting one?
@@husondiy Good to know thanks, Yes - old vented dryer on last legs, ready for an upgrade. Definitely going down the heat pump route. Lots on the market now, but big variation in prices.
I have just bought this tumble dryer, but have never witnessed it reverse tumble drying. My duvet covers end up in a big ball and still damp in the centre. it states it does reverse tumble: For example....... Additionally, the dryer has a reverse tumble action that helps prevent clothes from tangling. Is there a particular button I need to press as I'm a bit disappointed with this model as it never reverse tumbles 😔😔
Hi Rob! Honestly it's still going great, and really pleased we bought it. I think Beko is pretty reputable now with a good track record etc. So, no regrets from us to be honest! You got a similar dryer yourself, or looking for one?
Hi there!! Yes in theory you could set it up anywhere. Yes, the measurements I give are the measurement with all bits included. Let me know if you have any other questions
Just got this as it was the cheapest in the market , and because its only 500mm in depth it saved me almost £150 instead of buying an integrated one. Great video and helped alot planning the space, doors, hinges etc Thanks you
Yeh we shopped around, and this one definitely ticked all the boxes. We're seeing much less energy usage on drying cycles, which was really the main reason we went for a heat pump one!! Good luck with yours 👍🏻
@@husondiyI'd of kept old one I prefer vented also I wouldn't recommend having a heatpump or condenser dryer in a cupboard beko do make Intergrated dryers tho i do like bekos
Thank you for the video. I am looking at buying this model but can’t find the dimensions of the loading door anywhere. Do you happen to know these please?
@@husondiy not at all. I normally use lg or bosch (not high end but medium range) and sometimes balay or russell hobbs (low range) and I feel the beko is worse than other low range brands. F.e.: the lint filter has no rubber seal and so lots of lint unnecessarily pass through the millimeters between the two rigid pieces (lint filter and pocket where it goes)... the small model (7kg) I bought has no foam or foam placement place to filter lint before the condenser...the condenser came wringled in some areas right out of the box, as brand new... truly nasty brand... I have been fixing some issues myself which are really below minimum standards they do not have...
Could consider swapping that double mains socket for a smart one with energy monitoring. Run automations in your Home Assistant to let you know total consumption and let you know when the cycles have finished etc.
are you kidding me? heat pump ther's here in italy since 18 years about minimum, are you asked if they are the future? where do you live in the past????? crazy. than why you use sintetics if you drying cotton?????? you need to use cotton and raise the drying level with the drying level botton
Ah really!?!?! We are behind the times here in the UK then! With regards to the settings, it was only a test for the video, we use the correct settings for the correct material now. Do you have a similar dryer?
In terms of emptying out the water, how do you switch the function from the tray to the hose instead?

Thanks for the useful video. What do you think of the dryer a year on? Still happy with your purchase?

Hi, can the door be reversed?
Hi there!!! No, unfortunately it can't be reversed 😩
Just want to point out that you wanted cupboard dry, you put it on iron dry
Ooooops cheers 👍🏻

The reverse tumble might be only available on one of the cotton programmes as its one of the few programmes on this dryer that takes a full load.
Can you pipe it up to the drain so that we don't to empty it
Yes you definitely can! The pipe kit comes with it too! 👍🏻
Hi, would you still recommend buying the Beko dryer? Or would you recommend paying 20-30% more & getting a 'better' brand?

Thanks for the video, I had been considering this model which I have now ordered.
No worries!! Glad my video could be of some assistance!! Ours is still going strong and definitely uses less energy
What a nice guy. Very helpful thanks 😊
No problem!! Thanks for the comment!!!
Thank you, very interesting. Can i just literally set this up in my spare room? Also, do all those things on the back add to the overall depth?

Hello!! Is that the opening size or the size of the actual door?
When the door is open as I need to see if the door is going to hit an object when opening.
49cm from the dryer to the edge of the door when its open. Let me know if you want any more measurements
Thank you, I really appreciate it.
not beko's, for sure
You not like Beko?

Fair enough. Is it not a case of you get what you pay for?

Great idea Mark. I do have some Tuya ones that do energy monitoring! I'm going to do it, will do a video on it 👍🏻👍🏻
@@husondiy Gives you another reason to remove that woodwork again. Should be a bit easier this time round though 😜

This one never stops after the set time😐😐needs to be around
Do you mean once its finished it keeps rotating periodically? For the anti creasing?
