    Cardamom is one of my absolute favorite spices... very medicinal too... love putting a lot of it in homemade almond milk and all sweet recipes.

    Just made this, I had 1 frozen banana and 2 non frozen bananas. I just could not wait. It ended up being like a smoothie and I LOVED it

      ThisIsMe26 Great :-) If it turns out like a smoothie, you have pulsed it to long. Just pulse it less for ice cream consistency.

    I freeze my bananas in 2" chunks on a cookie sheet and then bag them. It's so much easier blend that way. Thanks for sharing! ; )

    Having it for morning snack.. YUM! :) Thank you so much! I am really enjoying your recipes :D I didn't have cardamom powder, so I used cinnamon powder instead. Still good :)

    Hello that's a great recepe!! How would you keep it if you don't eat everything straight away? Would it stay creamy ?

    • @cookingwithplants
      @cookingwithplants  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can just put it in a container and into the freezer. Then when you are ready to serve it again, just take it out 15 minutes or so before you want to eat it so it softens up again... but we never have any left in our house!!!

    What brand or type of food processor would you suggest?

    • @cookingwithplants
      @cookingwithplants  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The one I use is a Breville. However, if you get a less powerful one just leave the bananas out for a little while to thaw a bit. That way they will be easier to work with and easier on the motor :-)

    What's the purpose of the cardamom powder?

    • @cookingwithplants
      @cookingwithplants  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Latisa Clewis It adds a nice flavor

    • @wordivore
      @wordivore 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Latisa Clewis I was just about to ask this. I've been adding it but was still curious. What I had forgotten though is the maple syrup. Still good without the sweetener.
