So good, banjo and guitar!! I am trying to find someone to play with me as there are not many musos where I live, and youve just sparked the search for a guitarist. Bloody great stuff mate
Thank you. It would be helpful if you could put the Title of reel down so I could learn it and try and play along with you. You both play great together.
Well, she's been playing for 18 years or so, which based on what Karen looks like, is likely since she was a youngish child. At this point, that instrument might as well be an extension of her flesh and bones... she IS that instrument, in mind, body, and spirit. What I'm trying to say is, that's more than practice of scales; it's talent, determination, and genius!
What’s the make of that tenor? I know you are the one to make it sound so amazing! But snappy, crispy, and tight lows as well. Great performance! My mind is completely blown by the virtuosity
Amazing. I've listened to this over and over. Wish I could play banjo like that. Just started so my goal is now set lol. @Karen Dolan What make/model of banjo are you using in the video?
Stunning, mesmerizing, enchanting, wonderous, beautiful, all of this and more...
Working on my own tenor banjo skills and this is huge huge inspiration. Thanks for taking the time to record and share
Loving Mick O'Connor's (the opening) Reel. Our old London pal. The only tune he's put out there as far as I know, but a great one.
I never played that many triplets in my whole life. Very cool.
Gggg
Unbelievable, fair play to ye both, lovely sound,
