I loved this! Thank you so much for letting us see your journey! It didn't feel long at all. I loved how nice the guys in HF were! If I were to ever ask a question, I'd ask Adam if he'd ever guest on Critical Role. I think it would be awesome to see him interact with that DnD group! I loved that you were able to make the guys laugh with some of your questions and expressions. I wonder if they heard you yell, "release the dragon?" :D
So glad you got to interact with a bunch of Fries and hear that we enjoy what you do! During Covid there were a bunch of reactors doing HomeFrydays. Most of them have moved on to other things so we especially appreciate you guys. Hope you guys will make more shows over time and that I'll get to meet you there or if you come up to MN to see Darren I'll take you out to lunch.
One day I was sitting in my living room in Michigan watching a man in Portugal react to a video by a family in New Zealand showing their reactions to their first visit to a Walmart in the USA. The absurdity of that did not escape me. Two nights ago at the Home Free concert, I heard Tim point it out in a very funny bit. He wasn't putting down reactors. He was laughing at the fact that people get enjoyment in such vicarious ways. Tim was just joking about the human condition that makes us all such easy targets for laughter. As I've heard Tim say before, if someone isn't comfortable laughing at themselves, that's ok, because he's happy to do it for them. Love YOUR reactions--keep them coming!

@musikbyjh I think if you had heard from other concerts his more detailed reply to this that it would have been received better. He usually, durring this speiel, says how much they do appreciate the reactors and that they have been important to HF in bringing new fans to the group. Without that part of it, I can see why you didn't enjoy the commentary. We enjoy watching people react to and enjoy things that we have connected with. I don't actually like county music, but HF just hits different. I especially enjoy watching other non country music fans appreciate their talent despite not liking the genera. I watch plenty of reactors, but this is the only patreon from a reactor that I have joined....because you guys hit differnt too. You are fun, kind, and genuine and offer things from a different view point. I love that Jeremy doesn't really listen to lyrics and takes in more the musicality and production, and I like that you, Jillian, do pay attention to the lyrics and meaning and take in the full picture. Each of you comes at things at a different angle and it's fun.
Also....to touch on the Walmart video you mentioned....I (Jeremy) LOVE that New Zealand family! Been watching them for a long time, and I have also seen that Walmart video. I just love them! And I also dont feel bad or weird at all watching other people react. I love the entertainment. This whole community is just awesome.

Oh ninja! That question! I know exactly what you mean being surrounded by 3 brothers, a husband and son. You’re dying inside when he asked it. Of course, them being guys, they all had a chuckle. Yep, didn’t like the question but it’s ok. Loved the lightning round and some of the Darren questions were cool. Sounds like Darren is a genius. Loved this session. Lots of fun and they do seem like regular dudes. Yes, nice to see Adam and Chance talk more. Loved the snippets of the concert and the little tour around Memphis! Love it. Love Tim’s deep voice! Jillian, remember that Tim talking to the "cheap seats" is something he almost always does BUT then he invited all of them to come down and fill in any empty seat. He said if someone shows up late and says "hey, that's my seat" tell them Tim said "tough Sh?%". Home Free shows start on time. Loved the vlog. So glad to me you both and Holly.

Wow, I so enjoyed the interview. I loved that Austin talked about Rob having voice similarity to Pavarotti! He has probably been encouraging Rob to do more opera. The interview was interesting. Finally got a chance to see the interview. It was great! You asked interesting questions, and I agree that Not asking the Austin question was the right thing. Everyone else asks it; let's learn something different! I noticed that Adam was a bit red from being called an alien. And I'm surprised that Tim was at first speechless about the dragon! So glad y'all had an excellent time, with bonus of mom there!

Omg HOW DID I MISS THIS A WHOLE 3 DAYS AGO?!!!! I saw them in concert with my son a little over a year ago (my husband didnt want to go and my son didnt want me to go alone) and he also comented on Tim constantly talking about the people in the cheap seats. He has a great sense of humor but he, like Jillian thought it was excessive. Thank you so much for the video. Loved it.❤

Again, a great interview, lots of fun. I just wish I could run into you in Denver. It's gonna be my last show for awhile (I'm still debating on San Diego though) because my expenses have to go in another direction right now. I'm glad you had fun on your first live Home Free experience. The boys are magic in my eyes. My first live one was in Canada and I discovered a favorite candy bar that I hadn't seen in 40 years in a corner store a block from my lovely BnB. All because of Home Free.

As much as I love hearing Tim talk, it was really nice hearing all the guys contribute. I'm hoping they come to a city near me in the fall, so that I can finally get to see them in person.
Tim always tease the people about cheap seats but they seem to love it. Don't let a fan be late, Tim lets the audience know and they turn and look at who is late. Austin chimes in afterwards with his remark, "we aren't rock stars, we start on time".

@musikbyjh ....not too long at all. I've watched SO many longer interviews and videos about and by these guys that shows you their personalities. You did a great job with your time restrictions. So many of us Home Fries are obsessed with all things Home Free. Not sure how they hooked me and reeled me in like they did. I'm really partial to Tim. I obsess over the well being of all of them. I know...not sane. They really do share a LOT about themselves with their fans and allow us to feel like we know them. I'd say that most of what they show us is authentic. They are humble, kind and quirky gentlemen who are growing and changing as they move through their lives. Like all of us. I have an illogical crush on Tim and at the same time feel like a mother hen to all of them. 😂 It's kinda weird being old and still obsessed with music. Gotta do it on the down low kinda or you freak people out. I love many genres of music and I'm old so I've gone thru lots of decades of music. Keep up the good work on your channel. I think thats how a lot of people are who are quiet on the outside. How cute is Amberly. She's so down to Earth.
I'm so glad that went so well for you guys! If I hadn't already been traipsing from Nashville area to Dallas area I probably would have made a trip to Memphis to meet you two. All I've done so far is drive through. What I get from reactors is the fun of hearing artist I already love, but also exploring what else is on the reactor channel and finding new artists to explore. There's so much I would never have encountered if a reactor had not done their thing!! So thanks for that and all the time you put into it!

Amazing work on the audio save. I used to be a videographer and I have felt that pain before. It sucks. I honestly couldn't even tell at all there was a problem. Loved the interview. You can tell the guys enjoyed it too.

Awesome interview with different than usual questions, it was fun to listen to. Sound was fine to my ears. I discovered Home Free from a comment on a video by The Blenders, so it was interesting to hear how Darren and Home Free have worked together. Thought the BP question was hilarious, lol. Chance's reaction was golden.
I really enjoyed the vlog and can see why it took a bit to get out. It comes across as very high quality, and i really enjoyed the cultural content....the sun studios was awesome to see. You guys were one of the highlights of this. You are so fun and so kind and open to new things. With having no set up time, the interview came out really well. Yall should be proud of this.

I (Jillian) have to tell you...Jeremy went back and forth on whether to use that footage (overly cautious on children being filmed), but ultimately we decided YES because it wasn't very long and clearly showed the joy your family (and ADORABLE Paxon) was having in an innocent way. He's most like me, an introvert with a poetic heart. Jillian, the thing about Tim is that he roasts everyone equally, and takes no offense at being roasted himself, or so it seems. The question I would also have asked if I had been sitting there was the question you asked Rob. I would also like to hear more of his voice full of power, just like in Nessun Dorma. I'm glad I saw them last year. The first time, but certainly not the last time... I had a regular ticket, although I would also have liked a Q&A/VIP. But first of all, it was too expensive for me at the time. Secondly, I know that if I were to stand in front of them I would completely block out 😅. I can speak English, but I have always been afraid to speak English/American (I am Dutch). Especially after my children (now adults) became fluent in it at a young age. I wouldn't know the word yes anymore.🤪. But hey, maybe the next time I see them, although I don't know when that will be. But did you also just feel your seat shaking when Tim went that low? I felt it in my stomach😂. I have also posted some videos of the concert. Not very good, but maybe I can reach a few people to become familiar with Home Free, because something so beautiful and good should not be missed in your life.❤

Guys, that was awesome!! Jeremy, you did such a fantastic job on the audio - very impressive. I would've been happy if you hadn't tweaked it. Really appreciate the time you spent doing that. The interview was great. The questions were so good and some I'd never heard asked before. Jillian, Tim is my favorite, but he's also the only member who could tweet something that can really hurt my heart (and he has). I've just had to learn to take what he says with a grain of salt. Great video, you two are great to travel with, heck, you must have had some flying cameras, fine interview dynamics, glad you didn't go to the Austin leaving, as he has his channel to give us details. You spent your time well under pressure. If you get to interview Darin, you will need to have translations for ;) Enjoyed the views of the audience vantage points. I enjoy watching some reactors who I feel safe watching with. It is a matter of trust for me. I won't be going to concerts so I enjoy the company of the reactors. Agree with Jillian about overusing any material. There is a limit to how fun the Barnicle arm shtick goes. Going to look for a way to help finance your trip🤑

I'd be interested to hear what you thought of the lighting at the show. Several people have commented on the present tour that it's too bright/too blue/ Adam almost disappearing in shadow. The band have got a new sound man replacing Chris, who was with them for years and was more or less part of the band, but I'm sure the new guy is good and would be happy to help. I agree that Tim doesn't always know where to draw the line. The atmosphere in Birmingham really soured when he started jeering about Britain's performance in WWII. Joking about a war in which thousands were killed by bombing is not funny, and to his credit I think Tim realised that he had "lost" most of the audience and that he had to work hard to get us back! Thanks for your hard work on the interview - it really paid off.
Thank you very much for this comment, Patricia. We've been seeing (on social media posts) a LOT of unhappy people re: the lights. We get some of that...the reds made the guys disappear at times, and the whites just burned your eyeballs. On Tim, I appreciate knowing I'm not the only one. There was more context we didn't include which made me feel the way I did, but I'm going to work on fixing my perspective and carry on with loving these guys for who they are. Hugs! jillian
Yeah, to echo Ninja, we’ve heard this about the lights a lot. I tend to try and see it from a different aspect. From a production, entertainment, performance standpoint. In essence, they’re just 5 guys who stand there a Dj sing/beatbox. (And sometimes dance a little, and sometimes play guitar) For a 2 hour show, having a “light show” like that helps make it feel like a “party” as Tim calls it. And also an entertainment vibe. I think if it were just them standing there for 2 hours, it may just be a little lackluster unless they had something to keep it fun. So, that’s why I think their light game is amped up. And Adam….he’s doing club beats during his solo…so the lights make it feel like a club. I could be wrong, but that’s just my take. It didn’t bother me as much since I’ve been shooting concerts for over a decade. So it was par for the course for me. But I can definitely understand how it could be pretty abrasive for lots of folks. There was a lot going on.
I loved this. I watched yesterday, but I wanted to comment today after I digested it. Couple of thoughts: I have driven the exact same route you have for your first leg to Knoxville. Virginia down 81 is the most boring drive I have ever done in my life. It's neverending. Not sure if you went that way, but it still looked familiar, because we have done a few different routes for our visits back to MD. Even the thunderstorms are familiar, so I loved that bit. If you ever have to drive through Chattanooga, the traffic is crap, unless you do an overnight trip just to avoid it. Second - how do you get the aerial views when you're going down the road? There was one point where you did a shot of your truck from way up high. Is Jeremy controlling the drone while Ninja drives? I know you have a drone because you've said so before, but I'm so curious of how these things work. Third - I really loved the Home Free interview, especially the three A's (Adam, Adam, and Austin), who completely stole the show. I honestly don't know how you held it together through all of that. I would have been all over the place in my head, so kudos for you keeping it together and keeping your questions focused. Fifth - this was my favorite thing I've seen on your channel to date. Enjoyed your mom, Ms. Anderson, too, Jeremy. What a lady, with a great personality. Would love to see more vlogs! Thank you!

Honestly the 81 drive was a pleasant surprise in comparison to a recent Florida drive down boring-ass 95 (but, that's a personal preference)!! There were so mnay beautiful pink / magenta flowering trees and awesome rest stops that were woodsy. For the aerial shots, we used a combination of a drone and an Insta360 camera (on a long, telescope pole). Fun right? I know it's a shocker for everyone here to see the videography, but truth be told, we'd done vlogs a couple years before starting this music channel...so yeah, we have all the devices!!! And THANK YOU for the interview (and overall vlog) love. I'm sorry we didn't get to your Adam question - we explained why. It was a little stressful downselecting "in the moment". SO happy to hear you won't mind more vlogs- definitely brewing up fun ideas on how to blend the two worlds more. Many folks have asked to see a "behind the scenes" on how we run the channel. Be honest (I know you will), is that something YOU would want to see??
Beale St. I was there back in 02' or 03' That place is jammin at night time. I ate where you were for lunch, and just a few hours later I had the blacken catfish at a place across the street. Do they still have the dunkin donuts at the end of the street? It just seems so out of place.

One day I was sitting in my living room in Michigan watching a man in Portugal react to a video by a family in New Zealand showing their reactions to their first visit to a Walmart in the USA. The absurdity of that did not escape me. Two nights ago at the Home Free concert, I heard Tim point it out in a very funny bit. He wasn't putting down reactors. He was laughing at the fact that people get enjoyment in such vicarious ways. Tim was just joking about the human condition that makes us all such easy targets for laughter. As I've heard Tim say before, if someone isn't comfortable laughing at themselves, that's ok, because he's happy to do it for them. Love YOUR reactions--keep them coming!

@musikbyjh I think if you had heard from other concerts his more detailed reply to this that it would have been received better. He usually, durring this speiel, says how much they do appreciate the reactors and that they have been important to HF in bringing new fans to the group. Without that part of it, I can see why you didn't enjoy the commentary. We enjoy watching people react to and enjoy things that we have connected with. I don't actually like county music, but HF just hits different. I especially enjoy watching other non country music fans appreciate their talent despite not liking the genera. I watch plenty of reactors, but this is the only patreon from a reactor that I have joined....because you guys hit differnt too. You are fun, kind, and genuine and offer things from a different view point. I love that Jeremy doesn't really listen to lyrics and takes in more the musicality and production, and I like that you, Jillian, do pay attention to the lyrics and meaning and take in the full picture. Each of you comes at things at a different angle and it's fun.

I saw them in concert with my son a little over a year ago (my husband didnt want to go and my son didnt want me to go alone) and he also comented on Tim constantly talking about the people in the cheap seats. So many of us Home Fries are obsessed with all things Home Free. Not sure how they hooked me and reeled me in like they did. I'm really partial to Tim. I obsess over the well being of all of them. I know...not sane. They really do share a LOT about themselves with their fans and allow us to feel like we know them. I'd say that most of what they show us is authentic. They are humble, kind and quirky gentlemen who are growing and changing as they move through their lives. Like all of us.
I have an illogical crush on Tim and at the same time feel like a mother hen to all of them. 😂 It's kinda weird being old and still obsessed with music. Gotta do it on the down low kinda or you freak people out.
I love many genres of music and I'm old so I've gone thru lots of decades of music.

Amazing work on the audio save. I used to be a videographer and I have felt that pain before. It sucks. I honestly couldn't even tell at all there was a problem. Loved the interview. You can tell the guys enjoyed it too.

Awesome interview with different than usual questions, it was fun to listen to. Sound was fine to my ears. I discovered Home Free from a comment on a video by The Blenders, so it was interesting to hear how Darren and Home Free have worked together. Thought the BP question was hilarious, lol. Chance's reaction was golden.
I really enjoyed the vlog and can see why it took a bit to get out. It comes across as very high quality, and i really enjoyed the cultural content....the sun studios was awesome to see. You guys were one of the highlights of this. You are so fun and so kind and open to new things. With having no set up time, the interview came out really well. Yall should be proud of this.

I'm glad I saw them last year. The first time, but certainly not the last time... I had a regular ticket, although I would also have liked a Q&A/VIP. But first of all, it was too expensive for me at the time. Secondly, I know that if I were to stand in front of them I would completely block out 😅.
I can speak English, but I have always been afraid to speak English/American (I am Dutch). Especially after my children (now adults) became fluent in it at a young age. I wouldn't know the word yes anymore.🤪. But hey, maybe the next time I see them, although I don't know when that will be.
But did you also just feel your seat shaking when Tim went that low? I felt it in my stomach😂.

The interview was great. The questions were so good and some I'd never heard asked before. Jillian, Tim is my favorite, but he's also the only member who could tweet something that can really hurt my heart (and he has). I've just had to learn to take what he says with a grain of salt. Enjoyed the views of the audience vantage points. I enjoy watching some reactors who I feel safe watching with. It is a matter of trust for me. I won't be going to concerts so I enjoy the company of the reactors. Agree with Jillian about overusing any material. There is a limit to how fun the Barnicle arm shtick goes. Going to look for a way to help finance your trip🤑

I'd be interested to hear what you thought of the lighting at the show. Several people have commented on the present tour that it's too bright/too blue/ Adam almost disappearing in shadow. The band have got a new sound man replacing Chris, who was with them for years and was more or less part of the band, but I'm sure the new guy is good and would be happy to help.
I agree that Tim doesn't always know where to draw the line. The atmosphere in Birmingham really soured when he started jeering about Britain's performance in WWII. Joking about a war in which thousands were killed by bombing is not funny, and to his credit I think Tim realised that he had "lost" most of the audience and that he had to work hard to get us back!

Thank you very much for this comment, Patricia. We've been seeing (on social media posts) a LOT of unhappy people re: the lights. We get some of that...the reds made the guys disappear at times, and the whites just burned your eyeballs. On Tim, I appreciate knowing I'm not the only one. There was more context we didn't include which made me feel the way I did, but I'm going to work on fixing my perspective and carry on with loving these guys for who they are. Hugs! jillian
Yeah, to echo Ninja, we’ve heard this about the lights a lot. I tend to try and see it from a different aspect. From a production, entertainment, performance standpoint. In essence, they’re just 5 guys who stand there a Dj sing/beatbox. (And sometimes dance a little, and sometimes play guitar) For a 2 hour show, having a “light show” like that helps make it feel like a “party” as Tim calls it. And also an entertainment vibe. I think if it were just them standing there for 2 hours, it may just be a little lackluster unless they had something to keep it fun. So, that’s why I think their light game is amped up. And Adam….he’s doing club beats during his solo…so the lights make it feel like a club.
I could be wrong, but that’s just my take. It didn’t bother me as much since I’ve been shooting concerts for over a decade. So it was par for the course for me. But I can definitely understand how it could be pretty abrasive for lots of folks. There was a lot going on.
I loved this. I watched yesterday, but I wanted to comment today after I digested it. Couple of thoughts: I have driven the exact same route you have for your first leg to Knoxville. Virginia down 81 is the most boring drive I have ever done in my life. It's neverending. Not sure if you went that way, but it still looked familiar, because we have done a few different routes for our visits back to MD. Even the thunderstorms are familiar, so I loved that bit. If you ever have to drive through Chattanooga, the traffic is crap, unless you do an overnight trip just to avoid it. Second - how do you get the aerial views when you're going down the road? There was one point where you did a shot of your truck from way up high. Is Jeremy controlling the drone while Ninja drives? I know you have a drone because you've said so before, but I'm so curious of how these things work. Third - I really loved the Home Free interview, especially the three A's (Adam, Adam, and Austin), who completely stole the show. I honestly don't know how you held it together through all of that. I would have been all over the place in my head, so kudos for you keeping it together and keeping your questions focused. Fifth - this was my favorite thing I've seen on your channel to date. Enjoyed your mom, Ms. Anderson, too, Jeremy. What a lady, with a great personality. Would love to see more vlogs! Thank you!

Honestly the 81 drive was a pleasant surprise in comparison to a recent Florida drive down boring-ass 95 (but, that's a personal preference)!! There were so mnay beautiful pink / magenta flowering trees and awesome rest stops that were woodsy. For the aerial shots, we used a combination of a drone and an Insta360 camera (on a long, telescope pole). Fun right? I know it's a shocker for everyone here to see the videography, but truth be told, we'd done vlogs a couple years before starting this music channel...so yeah, we have all the devices!!! And THANK YOU for the interview (and overall vlog) love. I'm sorry we didn't get to your Adam question - we explained why. It was a little stressful downselecting "in the moment". SO happy to hear you won't mind more vlogs- definitely brewing up fun ideas on how to blend the two worlds more. Many folks have asked to see a "behind the scenes" on how we run the channel. Be honest (I know you will), is that something YOU would want to see??
Beale St. I was there back in 02' or 03' That place is jammin at night time. I ate where you were for lunch, and just a few hours later I had the blacken catfish at a place across the street. Do they still have the dunkin donuts at the end of the street? It just seems so out of place.
