Great solution! You inspired me to filter my specialty paper out of the cardstock to get more space for the cardstock. I‘m also grateful for your focus on scrapbooking! It has been my favorite craft for over 20 years now… Looking forward to see Close To My Heart inspired scrapbooking products, that will be offered by Stampin‘ Up! the upcoming month… Have a great sunday!

We must be in the same mindset today. I started on my bedroom and next week starts my summer of declutterring. As soon as all the graduation stuff is over this weekend I’m hitting my scrapbooking hard because that’s the worst then the rest of the house

It must be that time of the year because I'm just itching to get things cleaned out, and decluttered. I would have done more this week but my back is out. It made it harder to get in and get it done.

Great video Katina, you are the queen at organizng and boy I wish you were closer to Chicago! How do you store your scrapbook kits? I've got many complete sets with die cut pieces, wash tape, etc and they are in large 2 gallon zip lock bags but they take up so much space (width wise) on my shelf. It's really challenging to make it all work and be easily accessible. I don't get rid of my retired S/Up! anything, I just don't want to part with it and have lots and lots.
    HUgs,
    Gale The Happy Stamper =)

Hey there friend! You know I don't really have any scrapbooking kits that have anything more than pattern paper, die cuts and sticker sheets. I keep all of those kits together in 12x12 clear bags and I then I keep those together by company only because I normally need to link items, or share where they are from. Otherwise I would keep them together by season.
I tend to organize my crafty items by type - so all my washi tape is together, all my ribbon is together, all my chipboard is together.
I tend to have several different projects I work on - Project Life Pocket style, traditional layouts, one little word ... so if I'm working on a project and I want washi - I go look through my washi - I don't like having things spread through out my space.
I also find that when I have everything together that is the same I have a better since of what I have hand and don't purchase so many duplicates.
However if you are storing by kit I would challenge you to get those kits out and bust them! Meaning start working through those products and using them. You will be able to start going through them and getting them used up. Let me know if that is helpful or if you need a few more ideas. I'm always here help no matter how far away I am! We still have get a time on the books for a little scrappy facetime or zoom hangout!

@@KatinaMartinez-01 For sure toots, FaceTime scrappin' would be fun! I'll show you my craft room and get your thoughts. Not everyone understands having a large and charge amount of stash. I need to get in my craft room soon, I've been working on a trip to Italy pocket style scrapbook and need to finish it. Our oldest son is getting married and I think I might want to make a 8 x 8 album for them. The Wedding is JUne 1st, 2024 just a few weeks away. Let me know when you are free to FaceTime together, I am super flexible - day or night works but keep in mind I am 2 hours ahead of you.
      Hugs,
      Gale
