I just had a discussion with a guy who is Christian that basically told me that he is not waiting until marriage to have sex. He said that he basically had to find out about sexually compatibility. So, he and so many others guys that I have met said that. I think I will be single the rest of my life because of this. They say it is not 1950 anymore. Right it is 2017 going on 2018 and 2020.

I am new to your channel. I agree 100%. Having a crush or wishing for attention from a guy will make you miss the one that God has planned for you. This is very dangerous and I can tell you from experience because I have lived with the repercussions. A long time ago when I was a young girl in Christ I turned down a good man all because he was not the one I was crushing on at the time. I look back and I realize now how bad I missed it because I knew not the time of my visitation. Learn from my mistake and wait for God to pick your mate.

Thank you for this encouraging message. I am 52 and still single. Since I was a little girl I have had this desire to marry and have a family of my own. This is a state that I haven't chosen to be in but I trust that God has a plan for me and that I should live for him first and foremost. He knows me, he knows the desires of my heart. I do want him to write my love story and I want to be courted although I am aware that in this day and age it's considered as old-fashioned. In this period of waiting, I want to encourage all the ladies reading this to hang on because we are waiting for God's best, a man after God's own heart who will love you as you deserve to be loved.

Hey Heather! I love your videos, but out of everyone Ive watched this one spoke to me the most. Two weeks ago when I first found your videos, I was both bitter and lonely. While all my younger relatives, and classmates were having babies, and long term relationships I was still yet to be in one of my own.I'll be 24 in a few months so I thought something was wrong with me. When I started reading your blog post about the relationship with god, and how you should treat it like a marriage it opened my eyes. When it came to god i was so wishy washy to him, only calling on him when i needed something so imagine how it must of made him feel. I felt extremely bad and had a conversation with him apologizing. Since then ive been working on my relationship with god by listening to the bible when i can and talking to him regularly. Ever since then ive been so much happier and I made a vow that i would stop being bitter about other people's blessings and focus on my own. I stopped caring about being single by default, and became single by choice, but get this, ever since I did that im starting to get alot and I mean ALOT of male attention. This one co worker wont stop flirting with me, and even the guy I had a crush on who didn't even notice my existence all of a sudden wants to be my friend and have a conversation..its so weird! Not to mention, I was asked out for the first time by a guy when I was on break at work today. I was dumbfounded! Though I got a bad vibe from him, He seemed nice on the outside, but something about him screamed snake in the grass. I'm not taking any chances on ruining my new rekindled relationship with god Ive waited this long, I can wait a little longer till he feels im ready for that sort of thing. Praise Jesus that He is the author and finisher of our faith because if it was not for God's grace in times of trouble I would not have seen how He help me grow through His Holy Spirit. I only give God the Glory for allowing me to have faith to get through my trials I do not give myself any credit because He showed me who I was without Him. As believers, we will always have trials to keep us trusting God. Trials will never end this is so He can show us how strong He has made us through trials. I have been saved since 7 years old I am 54 now and by His grace, He has got me through hard times. I thought I was going to lose it when I became a widow at the age of 24. I did not know how I was going to raise my sons but God got me through. People believe life will be easy and no struggle as a believer in Christ they keep waiting on that break when there is no struggle which will never happen. They listen to people that tell them they will get their breakthrough and God is going to bless them with all these possessions to make their lives easier. They do not explain that God will not bless disobedience but He will make sure to take you through a rough time so you stop being disobedient to His Word. God will bring you to the point you want for nothing and when you get to this place that is when you live in complete peace. When you do not desire the things of this world you do not have an ache when you do not get what you believe you need.Luke 12:15 And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” When you seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness then He will add everything you need He will take away your worldly desires and replace them with His Will in your life. It is possible not to practice sin or lust because His seed is in us and He gives us the desires to live Holy because He is Holy. Those who have a problem with sin and lust is because they still live for the world and not for God. They want the things in this world and not want what God has for them. I raised 3 sons now in their late 20s early 30s still virgins waiting for their wives believing God's Word and not listening to human flesh. God's way does work I know first hand I have not remarried and God keeps me from lusting after fleshly desires. I know God can keep people from having sex without being married this is His Will and He does not lie. If you want God to help you He will but be prepared to ache in your flesh because it is painful and a struggle at first, afterward it is the best peace you can ever experience. 1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Hebrews 12: 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
This is a wonderful message and I have to say many good women do get rejected and ignored in dating and matrimonial sites or meeting in person by men. Many women go through the ups and downs and wonder if something is wrong with them about their appearance or what they said or something; questioning themselves. People shouldn't allow these negative experiences devalue themselves. You are beautiful. Also Marriage is Man, God, and Woman, not just Woman and Man. God is the main spouse or the foundation of the marriage. Unfortunately, in our world, the words soul mates, romantic, and other words lure people to false love and many people do not follow according to God's definition of love and marriage. There are too many people who want soulmates and so forth wanting a perfect person that does not exist in a man or woman. This is one of the reasons why there are many divorces and marriage problems because of the world 's standard on love and marriage.

Heather I cannot say how much of a blessing you have been to my life. I feel like God has been trying to talk to me for so long and I've ran away so many times. I prayed and went to church but never had a relationship with him, most of my time spent was asking him to do things for me and and serving him with my lips not my heart but towards the end of last year I think he was tired and made me stop living the way I was living and he led me to read your book and find your ministry and I now have given every area of my life to him and am working on serving God with my life and not just my lips. I was so focused on what I wanted God to do for me and not what he's done for me and what he wanted me to do for him. I am now comfortable being single and excited about getting to know him each and every day I know he placed the desire for marriage in my heart but now it's not my idol. My friends don't really understand the changes I've made and I look at you like a friend who encourages me in human form that God sent. Please keep continuing what you're doing. I know for sure you've led one woman back to God with an open heart.

This helped me temendously. I prayed yesterday and asked God to help me deal with a certain situation - help me get completely over it. I told him I'm so mixed up, I don't know what to think or how to feel at this point. The guy is my coworker and we sit 6 feet apart all day, every day. Our jobs completely overlap. It makes it hard to move on and let go of a situation that I should not been involved with in the first place. This really ministered to me. Thank you!

Praise Jesus that He is the author and finisher of our faith because if it was not for God's grace in times of trouble I would not have seen how He help me grow through His Holy Spirit. I only give God the Glory for allowing me to have faith to get through my trials I do not give myself any credit because He showed me who I was without Him.
As believers, we will always have trials to keep us trusting God. Trials will never end this is so He can show us how strong He has made us through trials. I have been saved since 7 years old I am 54 now and by His grace, He has got me through hard times. I thought I was going to lose it when I became a widow at the age of 24. I did not know how I was going to raise my sons but God got me through. People believe life will be easy and no struggle as a believer in Christ they keep waiting on that break when there is no struggle which will never happen.
They listen to people that tell them they will get their breakthrough and God is going to bless them with all these possessions to make their lives easier. They do not explain that God will not bless disobedience but He will make sure to take you through a rough time so you stop being disobedient to His Word. God will bring you to the point you want for nothing and when you get to this place that is when you live in complete peace. When you do not desire the things of this world you do not have an ache when you do not get what you believe you need.Luke 12:15 And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
When you seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness then He will add everything you need He will take away your worldly desires and replace them with His Will in your life. It is possible not to practice sin or lust because His seed is in us and He gives us the desires to live Holy because He is Holy. Those who have a problem with sin and lust is because they still live for the world and not for God. They want the things in this world and not want what God has for them. I raised 3 sons now in their late 20s early 30s still virgins waiting for their wives believing God's Word and not listening to human flesh.
God's way does work I know first hand I have not remarried and God keeps me from lusting after fleshly desires. I know God can keep people from having sex without being married this is His Will and He does not lie. If you want God to help you He will but be prepared to ache in your flesh because it is painful and a struggle at first, afterward it is the best peace you can ever experience.
1 John 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Hebrews 12: 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
This is a wonderful message and I have to say many good women do get rejected and ignored in dating and matrimonial sites or meeting in person by men. Many women go through the ups and downs and wonder if something is wrong with them about their appearance or what they said or something; questioning themselves. People shouldn't allow these negative experiences devalue themselves. You are beautiful. Also Marriage is Man, God, and Woman, not just Woman and Man. God is the main spouse or the foundation of the marriage. Unfortunately, in our world, the words soul mates, romantic, and other words lure people to false love and many people do not follow according to God's definition of love and marriage. There are too many people who want soulmates and so forth wanting a perfect person that does not exist in a man or woman. This is one of the reasons why there are many divorces and marriage problems because of the world 's standard on love and marriage.

Heather I cannot say how much of a blessing you have been to my life. I feel like God has been trying to talk to me for so long and I've ran away so many times. I prayed and went to church but never had a relationship with him, most of my time spent was asking him to do things for me and and serving him with my lips not my heart but towards the end of last year I think he was tired and made me stop living the way I was living and he led me to read your book and find your ministry and I now have given every area of my life to him and am working on serving God with my life and not just my lips. I was so focused on what I wanted God to do for me and not what he's done for me and what he wanted me to do for him. I am now comfortable being single and excited about getting to know him each and every day I know he placed the desire for marriage in my heart but now it's not my idol. My friends don't really understand the changes I've made and I look at you like a friend who encourages me in human form that God sent. Please keep continuing what you're doing. I know for sure you've led one woman back to God with an open heart.

This helped me temendously. I prayed yesterday and asked God to help me deal with a certain situation - help me get completely over it. I told him I'm so mixed up, I don't know what to think or how to feel at this point. The guy is my coworker and we sit 6 feet apart all day, every day. Our jobs completely overlap. It makes it hard to move on and let go of a situation that I should not been involved with in the first place. This really ministered to me. Thank you!
