I haven’t used a chat system, and it seems to me that there is no good and foolproof plugin for it. But, just to test, I installed a Fluent Support plugin, and this gets the job done well. See the screenshot nimb.ws/iamecu Fluent support has a free and Pro version. For my test I used the free version, but Pro gets you more notifications etc options. Take a look at the video. You can grab Pro version with 20% discount here wpsimplehacks.com/fluent-support (SAVE 20% coupon is WPSH20). Works with both versions though. 1) Install the plugin and configure it 2) Add custom tab to the account page as I showed in the video 3) Add [fluent_support_portal] shortcode in tab content 4) Test it as a logged in customer. For admins, the messages are shown only in backend 5) If you need to rename text on screens using Loco Translate plugin. For example, instead of "Create new ticket" you can rename it to "Send new message" 5) Done Let me know how did it work out for you.
I've create the endpoit, save permalink, but if i click on the tab i'll be redirect to all articles pages and not to the virtual page. Have any idea? I'm on siteground without cache.
Does your slug contain also /my-account/ (or whatever your account page slug is). It not then try it with/my-account/your-endpoint PS! How is this topic related to this video? 🤓
