This machine brings back fond childhood memories cause I havent seen one since i was a kid. We'd melt some marshmallows in a pan with some margarine (back before we found out it was unhealthy and switched to butter) and when the marshmallow was heated and liquid we'd drizzle it on top of the popcorn and pack them into popcorn balls. They'd be wrapped up in tin foil and I'd pack them in my lunch to school. I could break off a piece and share with friends. It was like a popcorn rice crispy square

I'm trying to find a way to avoid those half-popped or hard pieces so that I don't crack my teeth. Does the air popper work to do this? Do you only get the good, soft popped prices out?
Yes, most of them pop, but some seeds can sneak into your bowl with the popping force. There are little plates that you can get and put into your bowl, which allows the unpopped seeds to fall through to the bottom and keeps you popcorn at the top. I just can't remember what they're called right now.
You cannot add oil into these types of machines, it will destroy it as there's little air vents at the bottom and the oil will leak through there into all the electrics
You'd have to flavour the popcorn with a power salt or so, once it's popped, or melt butter and sprinkle some over the top. Some stores, sell different pop corn flavouring salts.
My popcorn is a bit soft from the machine (lacking crunch) compared tp when I pop it in the microwave in a brown bag - any tips what I need to correct?
@@kunala8476 hey I got a fix for you! it's a little bit of a hussle but it's worth it. The popcorn are not crunchy because they need more time under heat to get rid of the water in the corn!!! what I did is I cover exist of the popcorn with a microwavable plastic just a little bit bigger than the exist and use cable tide to lock it. Once you turn on the machine and the corn kernels got all cooked and popped you turned off the machine but they are still locked inside the machine and you cover with a plate on top to lock the heat for 5 more mins. After 5 mins you turn on the machine again for 15-20 seconds to get rid of the left over moist then your pop corn is all ready and crunchy!! The hardard part of this fix is to cut the microwaveable plastic to cover the exist and tie it to the machine with the cable tie!! good luck bro!!
I got this very same popcorn maker brand and style but I been having trouble with it as it wastes half of the popcorn seeds by spitting all over the floor and the popcorn seeds that does pop only half of the pop ones ends up in the the bowl the other half ends up all over the bowl am I doing something wrong for that to happen?
If your kernels are too light, then try putting more of them like 1 and a half of the measuring cup, as if you do it there will be more mass in the machine. Wish you luck!
To keep kernels from coming out first,tip the machine back and let more kernels pop and build up,then set it level again.

😁 it was a plastic bowl and wasn't THAT close to the edge. The entire base was on the counter top and had about 7 to 10cm to play with.

Table salt will not stick to the dry popcorn from this machine, you need some special salt 😅

That's a good question. I'm not sure. I've made 3 back to back batches before without any issues of overheating.

That's weird. Maybe the popcorn seeds you're using are very light? Have you tried different brand?
