I loved Battle Arena Toshinden alot when it first came out! I actually never cared for soul calibur at all! I did however like soul blade/soul edge! I guess by the time the PS2 and the Xbox came out that was the end of the old school era because the 1st person shooter was becoming more mainstream! During the ps one it was the era of the JRPG none of later gen consoles had that (games released first in Japan followed by North America) later gen consoles was all about the first person shooter
