@misswildlife7905 have you not watched other cases before her? Don't be a comment Karen. Her story doesn't make sense. She contradicts herself constantly.
The alphabet of self diagnosis. "On Disabilities" but not officially, who knows what's truly going on with her mother. She deflects what she did with all the heroics she does on her own, caring for her mother, working 90 hours a week, hiring thousands of people in the past. I don't believe her at all, the tears and voice quivering like a manipulating TV evangelist. Fear of a jury, total victimization, just an act to derail the topic on hand, that she was caught stealing.
The violins are playing overtime right now. She has severe stealing problems. A bad job? You leave. She is trying to get permission to steal? Sorry folks. I'm disabled too and this is not how most of us think. Even with brain fog....
I have been mostly bedridden for the last 34 years with 5 autoimmune diseases that accumulated over that time. It's a very hard life to be disabled. I believe her hardships and frustrations because of my own experiences. And yes, I have mental illness too. HOWEVER, I am NOT a criminal. I do not steal money, abuse medication, drugs or any other criminal thing. Just don't commit crimes. 22:41 The judge is exactly right. A seriously disabled person cannot have chaos in their lives because it is seriously detrimental to mental and physical health. When you are this sick, you MUST take care of yourself first. If you don't, you crash and that helps nobody. People this disabled find taking care of themselves becomes their "full time job" because it's exhausting and there is no energy or capability for anything else. The judge is doing her a great favor by making those probation restrictions. By the way, I see lots of comments dissing this kind of "invisible illness." All I have to say to that is before I got sick I used to have exactly the same snarky responses. I didn't believe "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" was a real thing (for example). I remember denigrating a lady terribly (in my mind) for her health claims when, outwardly, she looked perfectly fine. And then, I guess God needed to teach me a lesson, so I became sick with these same kinds of things and I went through the experiences of being the one who was disbelieved and ridiculed. It's hell. I learned my lesson the hard way, and I deserved it. So be careful of your attitude so you don't learn the hard way like I did. Learn from my foolishness.
@@janetklumper6048 Some people lack empathy, and they want everyone to be sent to jail as if all crimes deserve the death penalty. They don't believe in change or forgiveness, so it's hard to read those comments. On the other hand, once you take a plea, you accept guilt, and there'll be consequences, so they need to save their complaints and explanations for their lawyers. Some of them talk themselves into trouble by thinking the judge is there for justice or to solve their problems.
I was about to write my story in the comments. And after reading your life story I no longer need to. As your story is mine as well. I too remember before all my illnesses came and before I needed a wheelchair to mobilize with. I would see people who looked just fine but claimed they had invisible illnesses. I have said I judged once too many times and The Lord saw fit to allow me to experience debilitating illness, suffering and losses. And I look completely healthy and am often asked how is it I’m sick because I look normal. Even though I mobilize with a wheelchair. Life is hard but I am thankful to be alive and I work very hard at not judging others. I love judge Boyd. I wonder how she can figure out people who are telling the truth of illnesses such as the defendants. Or see through the lies of the defendant. How does judge Boyd distinguish it. WOW...this is by far the biggest drama queen that I have seen while watching Judge Boyd. This woman is worthy of an Oscar.....actually, worthy of a 5 lb. ham.
When your on probation it isn't just YOUR LIFE anymore. The court system decides what you can and can't do. The court system decides where you can and can't live. The court system decides where you can and can't go. The court system decides who you can and can't be around. Don't do anything to put yourself on probation if you don't want to live with stipulations in your life..
The thing is, i actually believe a lot of the things happened to an extent. However, a lot of the things she said sounds like results of behavioral issues and she doesn't realize
What a challenging case. I believe that Judge Boyd listened carefully and made her best effort to accommodate this woman’s multiple disorders. She will need to find a caregiver for her relatives and avoid handling money. She got off easy.
As an empath, when I need my morning cup of cringe I always watch Judge Boyd. She has laser focus and you can't get anything by her. So many have tried before, and some will try after, but they will never succeed in duping Judge Boyd. She's a sharp one, her. Watching these defendants squirm and come up with excuse after excuse is maximum cringe. Judge Boyd’s face during the long rambling meltdown was awesome! She was so neutral this lady thought she could suck her in to feel sorry for her. Judge Boyd’s common sense, fair approach is such a breath of fresh air!!
Nothing she says makes sense. How do you support yourself... Oh I take care of my mom.. That's the only money coming in. Then she's suddenly not actually a healthcare provider for her mother. Sounds like she's living off her mother. She comes across as a professional victim and all of this mumbo jumbo has got her out of trouble in the past.
