It really gives a sense as to how endless Minecraft truly is.
what would really make this great is a mod with collosal mobs wandering around in the background
That's actually a great mod idea, I'm thinking about making something like it.
This wouldn’t be possible due to the way distant horizons works. No mobs are rendered in those distant LOD chunks.
@@downloadableram4212 what if you make the mobs also LOD
@@downloadableram4212 it could work in a similar fashion to the wither storm mod, where the wither storm keeps its surrounding chunks loaded
Smartest would be to render the giant mobs as non interactive low level detail models
I swear to god Mojang should either hire or buy Distrant Horizons from whoever developed it. This deserves to be paid for.
i would rather not they would ruin it
Please, donate to their Ko-Fi!
The Sodium developer is also struggling to pay her rent, so if you can afford, please give her a donation as well!
Well the issue with Distant Horizons is, that the LOD data that it generates, quickly becomes multiple gigabytes. That's not good to include in the base game. Minecraft worlds that were 500mb before, would now be multiple gigabytes.
@@ximaxwellixbest choice is to disable it.
@@ximaxwellixTHIS ISN’T 2007. GAMES ARE 110GB EACH THESE DAYS
Minecraft if Mojang devs worked more than 1 hour a week:
No.
Minecraft if mojang actually care about optimization
Back then, people made fun of us for playing an "ugly pixel game." Now, I genuinely believe it's becoming one of the prettiest!
i agree😍😍
noone made fun of minecraft players, cause everyone was playing it lol
16 million beautiful blocks for us to explore, to inhabit, to simply walk on. This game isn’t just about surviving, this game is about living.
60million actually. and that's just the surface
Please, how make Bliss Shaders DH Work with optifine, or you don't use optifine?
If you don't, how do you make Biomes 'O Plenty work on Fabric?
Because i want to play with mods and shaders but i can't because Bliss Shaders DH only work in Fabric version, not in forge.
In Forge i get black caves on the screen.
@@dominationofchaos1578 use Fabric and Iris Shaders specifically 1.20.1 version of java
@@dominationofchaos1578 I think Forge has its own version of the Iris mod. Which allows Shaders without optifine
sentimentil ahhh comment
Your cinematic shots are amazing, being able to truly capture what those mods have to offer really shows how beautiful and game-changing they are for future content produce on this game. Well done !
Thank you so much!!🥰
I remember watching hiper realistic videos of minecraft as a kid, wishing for such things to be possible, to... have that kind of freedom. I think this resembles that feeling perfectly
*hyper
I'm in complete awe, this is just so so beautiful.
For some reason this makes me think this is what the original settlers in the Midwest saw as they adventured to the coast and saw vast open valleys and monstrous mountains.
These videos are created based on your requests.
Please comment if you have anything💬
Can you please tell about you PC's spec
Imagine taking the ReTerraForged mode and using it as a base and raise the ocean level to maximum.
find a mod that can make it more visible underwater.
build Atlantis into that.
and make a sea world but in minecraft.
with old world relics and buidlings.
That, that would be epic.
Did you do anything special with distant horizons, changing config etc? I can't get it to work on properly, most of the distant chunks just won't load and it's definitely not caused by performance.
you should increase the biome size setting to make it look nicer, if it is possible.
"large biomes" world setting entered the chat
@@Verchiel_ large biomes and Terraforged are seperate. you go to game options, and its one, or the other.
@@ChicagolandGamer You could change the biome size (erosion, rivers, etc) in the original Terraforged.
idk if ReTerraforged does too but I assume it would carry over the settings.
@@ashtaka wait theres a Reterraforged? my bad.
@@ChicagolandGamer Oh you're using the original? My bad xD but yeah you can change the biome size and such.
honestly, i think distant horizons is straight up the future of minecraft java
just as a side note, adding continents mod with large biomes would be interesting, the sudden biome patches look funny
really love the art in the editing
great job man
Thank you✌️
Damn, seeing minecraft from this perspective and with these mods makes me want to explore every last block...
Your creation is truly remarkable; you've captured the essence of nature and the sky with incredible realism.
Before seeing this video, I wasnt expecting Mincraft mod could have such a big breakthrough. The scene was really insane, and it's touching enough to make people cry.
This is amazing! This is a sort of terrain I wish vanilla minecraft had.
Yo, really good video. Beautiful job.
I liked the slow shots way better than the fast paced flying from earlier videos
I cant believe how minecraft evolved since 15 years it was an insane game now it has more fascinating features. The game that remind us our childhood is now an emotional nostalgia...
I played Minecraft since Beta versions and from Tiny Render distance, chunky graphics and all of early 2010's Minecraft
To this ......
Never have i thought it'll come to this.
Absolutely beautiful.
Insane and very Nice. ❤
But where are the oceans? Minecraft needs very large oceans.
All the oceans you see in base game, with terraforged and distant horizons, basically turn into lakes and large rivers rather then oceans.
This video gives me the vibe that you've reached your goal and now you are free to do as you please.
Biomes or plenty mod, it is the mod that I have used the most since I started in Minecraft, what good memories the video brings back.
The modding community is single-handedly Carrying this game.
now there needs to be a fantasy mod that makes the world with big fantasy trees and caves and all that good shit.
This is just insane
Oh my God, it looks so pretty!
It would be cool if distant horizon was a new feature in vanilla minecraft. great vid btw
that's literally perfection
Mojang: Alright we'll introduce only one new mob in our update.
Mods:
all of this is possible because of 1.18 lol. mojang is the one that made stuff like this possible
Love you bro best video of horizon
This is the most incredibly beautiful Minecraft video I have ever seen.
Thankyou for actually listing all the mods and shaders you are using ive seen some other vids like this and rarely ever do they do what you do.
Also lovely choice of music, the game looks really beautiful❤
Thanks🥰
Why does Minecraft not look like this already? This is so beautful!
Minecraft c'est le passé, le présent et le futur ❤ Magnifique.
Feels like the next step should make villages connected with roads and such, making minecraft think outside it's 100x100 or so, like a mine, a village, a trial chamber.. they're just localized to an area, while having pathways connecting each and every element together and make it feel like someone actually lives there and works there would be awesome.
Simple, but yet so captivating. One of the best and timeless games out there. Mods brings Minecraft to a next new level. Base game is okay.
Spectacular!!
Cada vez enl juego esta mejorando que me da miedo y a la vez me emocionaaaa
Playing with close friends is truly wonderful.
Very good
I wish this could be paired with season and localized weather. I'd love to see different sizes of villages with unique buildings like markets or fortification like walls with roads connecting them to other villages
Looks sick
Looks like a blender edit in some bits but I've done this before a while ago and I love it
i noticed when you were flying around that you were having micro stutters which (for me) kinda breaks the immersion but looking back at the beautiful scenery brought it back for me. it really is tough trying to optimize minecraft to be a completely smooth experience when the game itself is not that well optimized.
Какая же красота. Представляю, как с этим модом выглядела бы сборка "Dawncraft".
one day this will all work with VR Minecraft. That will be the day.
I already tried it with oculus2 but it was really hard to record Videos🥲 I will try it again someday.
@@Raytraceforge I’d love a guide on how you set that up! I’ve tried so hard but no luck. you can record with the meta quest capture! Just open the camera app and choose the screen record option.
Pro tip: You can toggle distant horizon loading new chunks, and increasing CPU usage will increase the speed it does this.
distant horizon can load new chunks, its just very slow
@@thelostleviathan Thanks, edited it to be accurate.
I can’t wait until this is the standard for most mod packs
If you want another great terrain mod, try Tectonic. The mountains and open areas really are something else.
I'm trying it now😆
I didn't think I would cry watching this😢
beautiful
I waited for that more than a decade
I love this, but I don’t think I could build anything in this- and be proud of it
beautiful... ...bet that poor computer could probably roast a turkey
Not really, the optimization of these mods is excellent.
distant horizons is WAY more optimized than you think as it uses LOD
I had a dream like this
Wish we lived in a world like that
This is actually just real life at this point, like there is no difference
The nature of real life is dying and we had stop protesting 😢
@@meenuraheja-de4bbwhat
I want a complete gameplay like this on my table yesterday!!
Performance is horrendous unless you have a computer with enough power to calculate a meteorite trajectory in 10 nanoseconds, especially with super long render distances. It's playable at 128 chunks but barely.
@@PiotrBarcz the base mod is playable on my laptop (sits at 60fps with framerate cap) and i play at 500 mod render distance, the performance issues mainly arise when using shaders, which shaders in general require more powerful machines. its also important to note this mod is in very early stages of development, and the shader support is highly experimental at the moment.
@@NightmareWSP Indeed, hopefully the performance will be at least somewhat improved in the official releases. Also, good luck actually loading a 500 chunk render distance as CPUs tend to work to slow after about 300 and the world generator times out.
@@PiotrBarcz I can get 600chunk render distance with 200fps on my 5600x if the chunks are already generated. As for shaders, use Photon not Bliss for high performance, turn off the volumetric fog as it's expensive and IMO hides the beauty of the 200 chunk render distance I primarily play on. With 12 chunk render distance and photon shaders, I get 150fps, with Distant Horizons 192 chunk render distance on top of that I still get 120fps(RTX 3070). Maybe it's a bigger difference for lower end systems, but for me, Distant Horizons has a pretty small performance impact, just make sure to pre-generate the chunks with chunky(especially with worldgen mods), and use the latest alpha of DH.
@@shringe9769 Yeah, if you have an RTX 3060 or better then performance usually isn't too bad but you could get nearly the same performance just using Bobby instead of waiting for DH to generate LODs for god knows how long.
this would be amazing with some big city mod and lots of structures
Amazing
this guys is crazy !!!
my RTX 4060 Ti is gonna cry after i.....
I think its amazing how we have taken a game that is so simple and have made it into a beautiful master piece through sharers and mods.
Distant horizons is definitely the next big thing for MC. I'll never play without it now
Insane mod trio
i hope they seriosly add this world generation option to vanilla mc and maybe a option for the distant horizon mod would be awesome
Yaa its so realistic
Got this to work on my old laptop i can't run shaders without significant fps drop but never the less its still beautiful and a great addition to my modpack
ngl I wanna see an infinite nether now... its like oblivion but in minecraft :D
The sounds of my computer going into shock at how fast those fans be running is insane rn lol
INSANO ♥
Minecraft should really have a world option to have this kinda terrain
Now only if this also had lakes and rivers of varying sizes. There are some big bodies of water, but not the typical lakes.
If I ever become a game developer I'm going to make an open world game as beautiful as this that wont make my laptop spontaneously combust
There is a game in development called “Light no fire” with an earth-sized map and it supposedly would be like this, also it’s being made by that same people who made no man’s sky
@@stonelion8020the game better be good because no mans sky's launch went so well last time
The reason that No Man's Sky had such a terrible launch imo was because of all the hype generated around the game and big companies like Sony sitting on the heads of the developers. If you take a look at it now the game is actually incredible, especially considering how bad it used to be. I have hope that it will be good as long as Hello Games is able to take their time making the game and delivering a finished product.
My PC is burning just watching this
The power of the 40 series still amazes me
Holy moly... Some questions: I saw that you generated in forged, but filmed oin Fabric. Why? performance? The map was pre generated? What about you rig and performance?
Could you also do this with like as many good animal mods as possible? We could straight up have a Planet Earth equivalent 1:1 version with Minecraft at this point
Curious on the pc specs used to run this. Looks amazing
i really want a gaming pc now
thats what minecraft should look like
I want to see this with an add of regions unexplored biome mod.
all you need is few mods and shades to go mars :)
bro you should release this as a modpack
If only do a barrel roll was a vanilla feature it will be (idk what to say) but some people might get dizzy flying like this
oh my god!
NiCE
That feeling of loneliness... it looks amazing.
I like it too🤩
this pixel game is better than real lifee.. :)
2030: Wake up bro, Minecraft 2 has been released.
how does one increase that sorta distance on distant horizons? i tried putting mine to 512 but doesnt seem to wanna go further then 256
What Minecraft should look like by now
imagine playing in a world like this
"an interstate highway would go PERFECTLY here!"
- someone idk
discord link is expired.
do I have words for this?
minecraft 2
this is cinema
Now we only have to port CubicChunks over and we can have some unreal mountain generation
This is how i want to play Minecraft 🤩 available one day maybe ?
🤔
