  • COTONOU More Developed Than LAGOS (ROAD TRIP: NIGERIA TO SENEGAL) Is a video where i traveled to Cotonou and found that Cotonou has surpassed Nigeria in so many ways.
They are more developed than Lagos Nigeria, they have cleaner roads than Lagos and even better city view than Lagos

My roots are from Benin (but born and raised in France but i visit Benin every year) so i want to be honest: that is stupid cause these 2 cities can’t be compared they’re not in the same category!!! Lagos is close to a global city and it’s fare more bigger and develloped, you can found everything you found in the western world :Metro/Train/Highways/Big malls:you have nothing like that in Cotonou (and Benin) but Cotonou is cleaner, well built and much more pleasant to live !!!

Hi my brother, hope you are doing fine, thank you for taking us around Cotonou, indeed Cotonou is a clean city and beautiful and organised, this graffiti wall is the longest in the World not only in Africa... The Amazon statue is so beautiful 30m tall. They are prepaing for independant day on August 1st 64th anniversary day... another statue is being built in Porto Novo the Toffa statue a former king...🇧🇯....hope we see more of your incoming vlogs soon on the Republic of Benin enjoy your stay,a bientôt

Yes thumbs up to Cotonou Benin Republic, cos I've been there few years ago, but it is only common sense that with very less population, less diversity and language, they would be better organized and less chaotic. Most of their development as a country is concentrated in Cotonou and Porto Novo the capital city, which are just 2million and 264,000 population respectively, when Alimosho local govt in Lagos state alone is about 1.9million population. One thing to note is that France has s stronghold and influence on most of those infrastructure you see and French businessmen and french government owns many of the organisations and investments there. Thousands if not millions of Beninioise are employed here in Nigeria or doing business especially skilled jobs like.. Tilers, plummers, carpentry, builders, bricklayers, electrical etc but many Nigerians confuse them as Yoruba's. If you dont respect Nigeria, at least respect your fellow citizens who respect their country cos we won't watch you talk trash our country🇳🇬 on an international and global platform without any responses okay. If you go to your rich friends father's house, would you begin to tell them how ugly and poor your father's house is? You only succeeded in talking down yourself as Nigerian cos President will go, bad government may change, Governor will go but this video remains for life

Stop embarrasing yourself, here in Abuja metropolis, there's traffic light for pedestrians okay. Benin no even get metro system cos its a very small country. Oga did you visit the entire country of Benin Republic before coming to conclusion that it is better than the entire Nigeria? You haven't even visited the entire Cotonou or their other cities, neither have you visited the entire Nigeria. Abuja is more developed than Cotonou please, and i challenge anyone to a debate. Did you say Nigeria doesn't have ONE tourist attraction at all?😅😅 A city doesn't make up an entire country. Lagos is not Nigeria, Cotonou is not the whole Benin, Nairobi is not the whole Kenya, Accra is not the whole Ghana etc You can acknowledge other countries especially on certain developments without undermining or putting down your country. That is what sets other African citizens far apart from Nigerians, they have better Nationhood mindset and patriotism no matter how poor their country maybe.

I can't really know precisely what you would say upon entering Senegal? I knew about your channel from Kenneth, and you'd better learn from him. Thanks for your creative criticism. I'm sure it's not his intention to bring down Nigeria. Unfortunately, our Nigerian leaders are doing that quite efficiently on their own. I believe the point he's making, that you perhaps failed to see is that over there is way more evolved than Nigeria. I rep Nigeria but I'm also pragmatic. Even Kenneth explicitly said Nigeria isn't better than cotonou, the advancement of their country makes it difficult for one to misbehaving which is something Nigeria can learn from. 😊 ✌️

Did you just say outright that Lagos is less developed than Contonuo😱😱😱? What does a developed city look like?
TH-camrs like you, have proclivities to exaggerate in order to get in viewers. It's like saying that Cape Town is more developed and lovely than New York City just because there are lesser people living in the former.
Before Contonuo is compared to Lagos, it must first transit via Accra. Lagos's economy and population numbers alone exceeded those of Benin, not to include Contonuo. If the population of Contonuo is the same as that of Lagos, then a comparison with Lagos makes more sense.
I won't be surprised if your next video titled would be "is Dakar developed than Lagos", just for the viewership 😂😂😂

Until you know when to differentiate between country and rulers, you will be living in ignominy.
You can hate your President but NOT your country.
Nigeria is the only country in the world where you can not be deported. Even if you have dual citizenship, it can still be revoked and you deported. 👌👌👌

What then would you do when you visit Dakar and Abidjan? Also, when you say development, there are so many angles to it. Cotonou is more organised than Lagos but hell no, not more developed in general in terms of the scope of Industries, Banks, Real Estates, etc. In terms of organization and tourist attractions yes but Lagos is way bigger city with more economic mobility. Also, the idea that Nigeria is giant of Africa is laughable. Maybe in terms of population and economic potential.
