Much more helpful than my current professor (especially because I can rematch, rewind, and see the things on the board).
The usage of common objects to represent the slice is helpful when starting out.
Keep up the good work, I am trusting you with most of the studying for my calculus 2's final exam.
Love this guy, hope he is a teacher!!!
I am : )
You're the best!
First thing he forgot to mention his axis frame, If the origin is at the top then the distance is y but if it is at the bottom the distance will be 1-y
Yo dude do you know why he picked the limit of integration to be from 0 to 0.5? shouldnt it be from -0.5 to 0? as the top half ranges from y=0 to y= -0.5
Im curious as to why in other problems when calculating the Distance it was reffered as to the bottom segment below the slice as Y or X and then the whole thing is 1(in this case) therefore the distance would be (1 - x). Following ur other examples atleast. In this one u only measured as X. Could someone help clear this doubt. Im trying to convince myself that its because in this particular problem u need to pump half the water only , but id like to know before my test.
Can you explain thermodynamics?
