Hi! Thank you so much for all of your knowledge and expertise! I gain so much from each video! I’m super interested in learning about the font overlays! Could you do a video on that?
The membership is based primarily for POD sellers. I think there's a lot of crossover for handmade sellers though. I show a lot of products, trends and niches that can be created into POD products, which is the focus of the membership. I've had a lot of sellers who were handmade that add POD to their shops into my courses and on TH-cam so if you're looking to add POD sometime then I'd recommend the membership. Hopefully this helps a bit on deciding if it's right for you and thanks for watching! ❤
Thanks for the great content as always Heather! Just FYI you have some default Latin fill copy on the new website under the guarantee and the testimonial for Nicole Walters.
Thanks for watching! ❤ Do you know what website you are referring too, is it the Bestseller Insider or Print on Demand Academy? Also, did you access on mobile or desktop? I'm search for what you mentioned and am not finding it. Thank you for letting me know!
Hey, Loving your videos. I'm opening an Etsy shop and wondering how I know what category to pick when we are selling POD products from multiple categories like this.
incredible suggestions. I'm excited to get all these ideas into practice. also I'm looking for the new potential products to sell this autumn season. Do you have any suggestion?
Currently in the US there is a presidential election season, you can take this opportunity to sell products such as yard signs, hand flags, ornaments, it is extremely potential.
My coquette designs on Creative Fabrica are doing great because this trend is growing. I'm thinking of mixing the social club with a coquette designs on t-shirts or sweatshirts. These are neat niches. Thank you for sharing them!
I'm new to POD. I've already created an etsy account, with no listings yet and try to learn as much as possible about the hole process but it's not easy, it seems to be very complex. So, could you @Heather, be so kind to advise me the right course to a newbee like me🙂 I need a guideline. Where to start?
I'm working with Merchize. They have yard signs with competitive base cost. You can try to fulfill with them and don't forget to order a sample for test.
For sure! I think there's so many trending design elements you can add to phone cases and see success with. Phone cases are a great product to add to a shop!
You are so generous and take care of us! I looked at Kamala, I'm speaking, Harris for President and did not see any trademarks. Do you concur that these phrases would still be safe to use? I got scared when you mentioned all the trademark issues and don't want to get in trouble. I would like to use her name. Thanks in advance! Pamela
Thanks for watching and the kind words here!❤Although there is not a TM filed since it's so recent and presidential candidates cannot get TMs, your shop can still get intellectual property flags by any presidential candidate because it's their IP you are selling. Also to note, a lot of the presidential candidates have official merch stores that donate to their campaigns so they tend to flag shops not affiliated. The best approach is to contact the presidential candidate's team and ask for a license to sell or permission. If they deny a license, then it's not worth listing in my opinion to even use 'Kamala' or 'Trump' because even if there's no legal backing such as a TM being filed, you still can get your listings flagged or worse, have a lawsuit. I'm not a legal professional by any means but I personally do not go anywhere near the 'infringement zone' with political products. Even keywords of the presidential candidates/nominees in title or tags can be problematic. Hopefully this helps!
Hello Heather, Thanks for all your great Trend videos.! Just today, I got a letter claiming to be from ETSY, inviting me to participate in their "ETSY Design Awards" competition. Is this legit? Is this something ETSY actually does? And, is it worth doing, or just a gimic? Have you heard of this competition? Please me know!
I had this too this week but it was genuine, not spam. You can tell as when it’s a genuine message from Etsy it has an Etsy badge on it that says ‘from Etsy’
In past years sellers have gotten shops suspended or flagged with IP infringement with using president candidate names and sued by the party or the candidates. One example(not presidential candidate but still a good example of someone in politics) is Bernie Sanders, he did have a lawsuit against a t-shirt shop. Given, satire or a play on words and names might be a loop hole but it's still a legal territory I personally would never do myself nor recommend. Also to note, I'm not a legal professional so this is all based on my own experience.

Oh wow. This is very insightful. Questioning some recent designs of mine now.

I was under the impression that political pawns are public domain, especially during elections.
This is what I thought as well. As long as they are current candidates.
hi can you help I have a Etsy store I want to offer wall decals who can I ask to produce them
Zazzle possibly???
Wait so you are no longer doing Etsy?
I still sell on Etsy! I showed my recent stats and results in my past Etsy Ads interview with Hannah Gardner last week.
In a trademarking group on Facebook they said political names cannot be copy written, I’m hearing conflicting info and not sure.
I JUST SAID BRO
bro...
I see a lot of people using Kamala’s face and name, is that copyright infringement??
Yess 100% she will sue you, don't do it! 😮
I thought political people weren’t danger for infringement
