- Lucas and Jacob (famous sibling duo) test fast food hacks they saw on tiktok. There are a lot of questions we want these boys to answer like... do they actually work?? were they tasty?? is it legal to do that??? and the list could go on for days. They visit McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Raising Canes.... another McDonald's, Krispy Kreme and then Popeye's. Hope you enjoy enjoy.

My sister-in-law works at a bakery and is usually on the closing shift. They're instructed to throw all the product away at night but her and the other employees that are closing split the product and "throw them away" right into their cars. So if you go to her house, she always sends bread home with you since there's always so much unsold product and she hates it all going to waste. No lie, she stocked the snack bar at my wedding shower with a bunch of pastries from the night before. 90% of the snack bar was food that was supposed to be thrown away. Nobody questioned anything because it's still good food. I HATE how wasteful these companies are!
I especially hate when companies use the excuse that they could be sued if they give away unused product/food bc that’s literally not true, there are literally laws in place that would protect them from being sued but they’re just greedy
i just listened to a podcast today and someone was saying that they were dumpster diving when they were homeless… there was certain restaurants that would put garbage in certain bags and put good, fresh food in a separate garbage bags. then the homeless people could feel for the warm bag and know that they’re having a warm-ish meal and not worry about garbage in it
@@brittanyc4241 that's a beautiful 😍 thing. People don't know how simply it is to end up in that position. One missed paycheck, a medical emergency, the loss of a loved one sometimes is all it takes. Every homeless person is not an addict, derelict or lazy. I wish more companies would take heart to this. Thanks for sharing.

@@babbique939 exactly. Literally the only reason they throw it away is because they learned in economics school (with theories from more than a century ago) that if you give away your product, it loses its value. Same happens with old fashion collections etc...wasteful and sad.

I’ve had multiple encounters with chick fil a workers not saying “my pleasure” lol. It’s actually more rare for me to hear them say it.
I work at Chick-fil-A and I have to say it EVERY SINGLE time lol or else they'll inform everyone in the work group chat to say it.
It honestly would be so awesome to coordinate with places like Krispy Kreme to give all those extra donuts away to a food bank or homeless shelter. Yeah, not the healthiest option, but still free food for people who need it! Awesome video guys :)

I work at raising canes and I have a hack for a 3 finger combo with a free extra toast!! Order a sandwich combo (no lettuce), sub the bun for toast and get the sauce on the side 😁

My 17 yr old works at Starbucks. They’re supposed to be donating their “expired” goods to a shelter, but they really just throw them away at the end of the night. My kids brings home what they can 😉
That’s absolutely horrible. I could not imagine taking something that’s supposed to be going to help people in need and keeping I for yourself. Raise your kids better not to be so selfish.

I just had a memory unlocked. I used to date this guy who worked graveyard shift at a 24 hour gas station like 13 years ago and they sold Krispy Kremes and at 3am or so he was instructed to throw out all the donuts before Krispy Kreme delivered that morning. I drove there and picked up the bag of donuts about that size one early morning! They were pretty smooshed but still delicious!

That dude is just making things up for the drinks. All fountain machines pre chill drinks as they go through the machine and out of the nozzle, which is why if you get a soda no ice anywhere, it's still cold. It's a special contract Coke has with McDonalds where their machines have to have very specific settings for syrup and carbonation amounts to increase the crispness of the soda.
Yup. As someone who worked there, it was never McDonalds techs or helplines. Any issue with the soft drink machines HAD to be fixed by licenced coca-cola mechanics.

I work at raising canes and when you order naked bird they drop the chicken with no breading in the oil it takes like 7 minutes to cook so we always pull those orders forward. Also the real best order is a sandwich combo, butter the bread, sauce on the side, and add a Louisiana hot sauce to the cane sauce then put that on your sandwich 🥰 also you can get a sandwich and substitute the bread with toast and it’s yummy.

There was a bakery that did that here too. Perfect good donuts and breads, untouched, unblemished, and this was just what they did too 😂

Hey Guys! I found out recently Walmart, Kroger (maybe Baker’s?) and possibly a few other places sell italian products by Mulino Bianco like Baiocchi and Galletti and Pan di Stelle. These are really good cookies from Italy and they are SOO good. If you could find some Id love to see y’all try them!! Love y’all
When I worked at dunkin we had to throw everything away at the end of the night but our managers let us take whatever we wanted home. Sometimes I would set them neatly by the dumpster in boxes for the homeless bc they would dig for them anyway so might as well have clean ones 🤷🏼♀️

Lol so the charging for a McGriddle bun price is prob higher than regular bun price for the record. My parents used to own a donut store, and we did have to throw huge bags of donuts some nights, but we did try to donate them or sell “day old donuts” the next day. Sometimes I would still have to carry huge garbage bags of day old or donuts from that day to the dumpster. The person who owned the donut store before us would throw them all out at the end of the day and pour bleach over them so people wouldn’t eat them.

It is terrible they throw them away. Some bakeries donate their leftover bread to a community centre so poor people can get free bread everyday. Its good because most charity food boxes don't have bread. They only have food with long expiry like cans.
