Great tutorial. Both schemes look awesome. If you want to get a more matte look from the villainy inks, you can use them with the AK Interactive Matte Effect Thinner. That's how I've been using them.
They look awesome! I really liked the one with the warm bone colour. I will try to do something similar. :-) Have you kitbashed yours? - my Canoptek Wraiths do not look exactly like this.
@@JMACCSArmiesOfMiddleEarth In my last one with the Magenta and white i just applied oil wash to white primer... the jakie approach lol. If I was to do it again I would use this stippling method in this video using black to grey to off white then use the oil. Let me know how you get on.
These are awesome, I think I’m pivoting my scheme to your blue one 😊 Quick question, if you had a lot of time what type of fancy base would you go for? As in what would compliment these most?
Thank you, for the basing if I had more time I would likely go for something like the xeno tech resin bases that you can get online or 3D print yourself. I think they would look good potentially in a contrasting colour. www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1648437923/xeno-tech-bases-various-sizes?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=necron+bases&ref=sr_gallery-1-3&sts=1&content_source=4cfdecd0430ac9b3c424217d4779337255185f29%253A1648437923&organic_search_click=1

Thanks for the advice, will definitely grab a bottle. Is there a specific ratio you need to use?
@@TeddyKGBMiniatures I never really measure anything, but I would say that I'm thinning it 50/50.
@@Paranormal-Stupidity Thanks!
stealing the blue one for my army. wanna do a volcanic inspired color scheme. dark blue with orange "lava" glows
I think I will be painting up the combat patrol soon so hopefully there might be more there for you to steal :)
the blue for sure. I'm enjoying the two colors in one video. gives so many ideas. cracking video as always
Thanks man, was planning on doing a split screen of the process but it end up being too complicated
cool! Thanks for showing those new grim dark inks! :)
No worries, always happy to try out new products.

Thank you, these are 3d printed so have slight variations to the official models.
@@TeddyKGBMiniatures, oooh, that’s neet! They look more vicious with all the legs. Thank you for the tutorial!
@@alwnycka58 No worries, glad you found it useful.
Hard vall between the two but if I had to choose I'd go the blue. What about the white and pink from the lord?
Yeah I think I'm going for the blue. The white was ok, but not where I wanted it to be.
@@TeddyKGBMiniatures Sweet. Fair dos likes I might do white armour but it does look hard
