Some people complain about Keith making noise while playing. That’s Keith. One of the greatest ever. Stopped playing anything electric after playing with Miles in the early 70’s and now hasn’t played in a while due to health issues. I’m grateful to have seen him solo and in small bands a few times. His idiosyncrasies only made me love him more. Shalom
Keith Jarrett is just phenomenal. I listen to his songs and get back to them after a while and they still sound so great. This one my favorites. His interpretation of Someday my Prince will come with this band, the list is long astounds and captivates me. WOW
This is my favorite version of this song. My roommate in college introduced me to this and I made him play it every time we were in the car together. Jack and Gary are sublime and Keith is so inspired.
In one of his books, Ted Gioia talks of performances that are "divinely inspired" or words to that effect. For me, this is one of a very few recorded examples I've heard and one of the best sounding jazz recordings I've heard. It's probably in my top 3 "go to tracks" across all genres. Those opening bars.........
In my opinion the best theme ever played by this incredible trio

Couldn't agree more, Michael. I have NO problem with his vocalizations at all! Shalom to you, too.

Flawless. I have been listening to this masterpiece for days.
Mr Jarrett change the way of understanding jazz music,he invented a new direction.this trio is most powerful combo after cosmic bands of Miles Davis
Best album by far by the K. Jarrett trio!
