I hate to be the bearer of bad news. A very good friend moved to Twin Falls, ID 2 years ago, or maybe it has been longer than that. As I was getting set to retire, I had a down payment for a very small house, I was told that housing market is really bad, and the prices are rising. I had to cross Twin Falls off my list 🙁

2023 and Twin Falls keep growing. A lot more business opened. No more Macy's, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and no more Shopko. A lot of people moving here; unfortunately with bad attitude. I love you Idaho ❤️

I don't think that it's their choice. Sears and Macy's has been losing a lot of money and so they're closing down all of the unprofitable stores. People are doing their shopping online and at other stores like Target, Ross, and even Walmart.
Radon Smith It’s dying because there’s more modern stores around the mall so people aren’t going to the mall like they used to. But it’s sad because I grew up going to that mall and there isn’t any other mall nearby. The closest ones are in Boise, Sun Valley, and Pocatello.
I was part of the massive remodel done to the mall just recently. Yes sears is going out of business nation wide, and Macy’s is closing. But they’ll be adding to the movie theater and introducing new shops soon enough. The owners of the mall drove out business with high rent to cover costs but the rumor has it that’ll be changing as well soon enough. Target is getting there own location soon. That building is rumored to become a amazon fulfillment center. Creating massive jobs in twin falls for that single location. #workforit#buildingit#workingclass

@@mimi7914 anywhere in Southern California has high crime rate, i’m from Orange County a neighbor county to SD and it’s pretty trashy and sketchy here. a lot of homeless and graffiti, the people here are used to the dirtiness, but me personally i’m fed up with it.
Twin Falls has been getting refugees off and on for years. Even back in the 80's when they were coming in from Vietnam. They are fitting in this community, they work at jobs that others wouldn't and even some that were higher up are making and living the American dream.
