I have a 96 12v RWD and have never touched a 24v, with Josh's vids I feel confident in being able to build a CR 800hp-1000hp 3rd gen, save for tuning. Thanks for all the knowledge and useful side info. Hopefully college pays off soon so I can afford a 24v 4WD.
I'm glad you're tuning your own truck, you'll learn more from your tuning mistakes than just about anything else. On the flip side don't get discouraged by them because it can feel daunting/overwhelming sometimes. I have over 800 recorded flashes on my personal truck and the first 2-300 were throwing things at it and seeing what sticks. My biggest piece of advice is label your flashes and you're data logs that go with the specific flashes the same name for easy reference later on and Have fun! I'll be praying for James even though i don't know him. God bless.

My 05 is down for a radiator swap that lead to a cam and injector swap. Working on it as time allows. All PDD parts. Ready to hear it run again. Throttle the engine for 10min to break in cam? Don’t hold at specific RPM? What’s after a hot retorque? Foot to the floor?
Just had to do injectors in my 07 5.9. did .010 intake .018 exhaust and the difference is amazing. Great info by the way. love it. How do you like the insight cts3?
It's a good rear end but the big issue with it is the stupid design that makes you take the bearings on and off a bunch to get the proper spacers. It's dumb for sure. Good ole engineers always looking for ways to make our jobs harder haha 😄 ❤️
The reason you dont weld around break clean is because chlorine with enough uv light makes phosgene gas which can kill i concentations as little as 1part per 10m

Because I know if you want to play you will have to pay. My transmission you guys built but I don’t remember to what power level. My truck was making like a spark knock sound for 4-5 days, so I ran some fuel injector cleaner thought maybe they were dirty. Well, I changed the oil too and then drove to work. When I started it to go home, it started real rough and shook and sputters and blows black smoke nonstop, and when I have the gas pedal pressed, it sometimes surges, and the truck goes a little faster by itself, and I have to tap the pedal for it to stop the acceleration. i have no codes at all, and I think it's the Fuel Injectors. What do you think it could be ?
@@bigmurph1447 I do have S366 over S480 Billet Race turbos with a Airdog II 4G 200GPH with 103lb Hamilton springs and extreme duty pushrods and billet valve bridges with Flopro dual 4inch exhaust and Dual Stock CP3's with Fleece Distribution block and Beans Sump.
I'm confused, you converted inch lb to foot on torque. You mention 44 inch lbs was 5 foot lbs. Maybe I have it wrong but 12 in lbs = 1 foot lbs right? So 44 ÷ 12= 3.6 foot lbs.

Watch oil temp, oil temp hit 200*, it’s not uncommon to see oil temp while driving around 190-200 on the street. Towing I’ve seen my 2021 hit 230*

Probably injectors don't keep driving it. Could melt a piston

@@twintibbsdiesel93 you can buy the tool to block off each injector to find out which one is bad. 100% over should get some compound turbos for it.
