Quick question: is this just as effective for the sims you just want to visit these restaurants and eat? or only for when you are running the restaurant?? I just want my sims to have a good time when going out.

Happy to be back! So many weird bugs in Sims 4 that interfere with Dine Out. A lot of the pack code is fine it just needs rescue attempts when the game goes awry.

James and Gluon both gave me permission to use the food truck save from burger boys. I had it from playtesting some bugs they experienced :)

I haven't touched Sim4 in ages but wow the improvements you made to "Dine out" is fantastic. That is how EA should have done in the bloody first place to be honest. That crowd control with sims not stealing other people's table food and etc is a much needed fix. And also, my condolences for your loss. I hope you are well and take care.

I forgot I was subbed to this channel. I don’t play the sims 4 anymore but maybe one day I will reinstall it.
The mod does look cool and vanilla dine out did feel undercooked. as usual modders have to save this game.
No doubt a lot of my subs have moved on from the game! It's been a while and it's not in the best place right now with bugs. Not sure if it ever really has been but it feels kinda rocky and too quiet atm.
@@CarlsSimGuidesI can’t say I’m surprised the sims 4 is still full of bugs. If I was to get back into the sims I would more likely playing the sims 3 again. I have all dlc(excluding the katy Perry one) and just need a handful of essential nrass mods to have fun playing the game.

I used to be a restaurant manager IRL and I LOVE all the capabilities you’ve added to Dine Out!!!
I definitely still see potential in the pack's code and how you could take certain things a bit further, like buffets. I really like the player being able to do stuff. It feels more realistic to have a manager checking in on tables and maybe helping out with things here and there. Like, you could throw up another chef station and only hire one and help out when the main chef is slammed with orders.

The fact that Tom Peeping is one of the Bartender choices, reveals that Carl has the 18+ WW mod installed
So do many others, me included 😂 Cant play without it and Basemental.
As so many have said before me. You are an absolute legend. Thank you so much from the bottom of my and others hearts for making this community a better place. As someone who has also lost a mother, I understand the emotional whiplash you must be going through. Take as much time as you need to recover. Grief is exhausting. And please remember that you are not alone. You've got a whole community that will support you. Take as much time as you need to do what you want to do. That's all you can do when faced with grief.

Oh I don't buy...but I play. I paid for every bit of Sims 3 and don't regret it, but Sims 4? No way would I pay for this garbage that MUST have mods to work. If you pay someone to punch you in the face, they'll keep punching you in the face, after all!

I know it's been a while since the death, but grieving is a long and difficult process - take the time you need, even now, to take breaks and tend to your own well-being both physically and mentally! Sitting at a computer/desk is one of the worst things FOR the human body, and you've already had neck/shoulder issues, so be gentle with yourself! (And thank you for all the hard work you've put into basically completely re-making Dine Out! It's finally worthy of a AAA game...sad for EA, but excellent for you.)
Great mod, unfortunately neutral language killed this game for me, I instantly unstalled, I'm so sick of political propaganda on my daily life and I don't want to see it on my entertainment.
I still wish that EA could release a definitive edition of TS3, I would buy in a heartbeat.
Wow, this mod is basically everything I've been wanting out of Dine Out and more! Looking forward to playing with it if/when I play Sims 4 again!

Wow, Carl! You've put so much work into this and it's amazing. I love that you put the footage from James Turner and Dr. Gluon's LP in this. I've watched every episode and have seen your mod grow and change throughout. Such a great series. I'm hoping they'll start the Burger Boys back up now that For Rent is such a buggy mess. Thanks for all your hard work! I support you on Patreon because I use your guide almost every time I play the Sims. No other guide is close to as complete as yours.

Why make people pay? Modders and fellow Simmers should help, we need to stand together and fix the game and allow people who cannot afford to pay modders even to have a playable game.
All you have to do is wait a week or two then get it for free, it’s not that serious 😒

It is worse the 2nd year cuz you go through birthdays...moments...events without them for the very first time and it sucks :(. There is this quote from a TV show that describes what it is like so accurately. "Losing someone you love is garden. There is this huge hole that forms in you that nothing can ever fill and nothing can grow in. But that doesn't mean that things cannot grow around it." In other words, nothing will ever replace her and shouldn't but it could lead to new friendships and connections that you never expected...who share the same/similar experience. :3 Hang in there and we are always here for you. Don't worry about us. :)

If EA had half a brain cell they'd hire you and other moders to implement fixes like these into the game.
I have some leeway in how I do things, I think I do things in a way EA wouldn't approve of since my mod are not easily moddable due to how many scripts I use. But it'd be a nightmare to me to try to do all the things I do in the way they do it.

Yeah, moms are special and it's a hard blow. Mine had MS so we saw it coming but I got to give her a big hug a few days before she passed and I'll carry it with me forever.

Dude the sims community is fucking CRAZY. I am new to this game first game is Sims 4. My game is like 70% mods, i would 100% NOT play this game if modders didn’t touch this. Its a completely and utterly different game from the base game with mods.

I can't click shift the ground with testingcheats on, I can't higher myself as the chef or any features that are supposed to work. I do have the Diner Order Beacon and Order Up! Digital Restaurant Display when I click on Restaurant Items and click Custom Content. I'm not sure what's going on :(
