How to Use Your Crisper Drawers In Your Fridge Correctly

So...let's talk a little bit more about your fridge today! Have you ever wondered why there were two and what those settings were on your crisper drawers? Some will say High Humidity/Low Humidity, some say Vegetable and Fruit which is confusing for all kinds of reasons since a lot of the plants we refer to as vegetables are actually biologically fruits, tubers, seeds and well...that's another botany lesson that we won't get into.
On these crisper drawers in your fridge, you'll find a little slider that closes and opens a vent on the drawer allowing either air to flow out or humidity to stay in. The bottom line, is that these drawers are designed to be two different settings because certain fruits and vegetables need different environments to stay fresher longer.
