We really have three ways we camp. State Parks with hiking and kayaking. Travel trips where we go on trips to explore, and resort RVs to enjoy the resorts. Thanks for the preview. PS. I like the way you make adjustments for Nikki as she is getting older.
Yeah we kind of do the same thing too. Enjoy the park for what it is when it’s a resort you enjoy the resort when it’s a state park you enjoy what that has to offer. Yes we are trying to keep as active as we can and have her do as much as she can. She just loves adventuring. 😁
We thought we were pretty much state park campers too but recently hit a resort and found we like upscaling it too. Love areas that ebiking access is abundant.
We love Camp Margaritaville period. Next time you go, take a quick trip to Crave and Copper for an early dinner/late lunch. It’s about 3.5 miles away from the front entrance and they have amazing food and beer. Crave and copper is the restaurant for the Florida Brewing Company.
That use to be Polk nursery it was a very lager wholesale nursery. The lake you were on is call lake Myrtle. It was a grate speckle perch lake in my day!
We have stayed there and it was fun as usual, will never pay that kinda money and not make the best of it. Dodging kids on the little electric scooters and watching one little girl face plant on the pavement was not. We may go back at some point but not really in near future plans. Glad you guys like it and had fun. Good vid.
@@AlliChuckAdventures hidden behind the bathroom building for the main pool. There’s also a small dog park. We had a Dachshund meetup in there one of the times we were there.
Have they cleaned up the dog park? It had piles of 💩 everywhere when we were there a year ago. Too much $$ when we have better state and county parks to go to.
We never really noticed the dog parks being dirty, but it is a pricey campground for sure. Something we would only do every once in a great while as a treat.
@@AlliChuckAdventures The school is in the small town of Auburndale just 4 miles east of the campground. Its called Auburndale High School. Pretty nice people live there.
Let us know if you have stayed at any of the Camp Margaritavilles! And what you're thoughts are about your stay!
Fun weekend! We enjoyed it as well, although we also like the state parks. See you guys next week!
Def was fun! Mellissa in that dog trailer was classic! Looking forward to Silver Lake!
We stayed at the Auburndale CM last October for a week. We absolutely loved it and definitely plan to go back. We really enjoy your videos.
Awesome!!! Glad you liked it too! I def think we will try to go back before years end again. Thanks so much for the kind words! Much appreciated!

@scottburt1327 both have their pluses for sure. 😁
Looks like the doggie enjoyed the ride! 💗 A very pretty place.. Y'all have fun!
Nikki LOVES the bike trailer! All the fun of walking and smelling without the effort lol.
Headed there in December and your reivew is much appreciated. And I would be remiss if I didnt throw in Roll Tide Roll! I am a huge fan from NM.
Ha ha you and Alli with your ROLL TIDE lol I’m a fan through marriage lol
That looks like a lot of fun. Nikki looked like she was enjoying the bike rides!
It was! And not only Nikki but mellissa was enjoying the bike trailer lol
@@AlliChuckAdventures That was funny! 🤣

Oh awesome! Thanks for sharing and we will def try that! Sounds amazing!!!
Or go out the gate, make a left. At the end is Tantrums restaurant. Not bad for a small place.
Awesome! Good to know and if we stay there again we will try that? Is it pet friendly do you know?
Enjoyed meeting you guys at Colt Creek before you went to visit the resort crowd! Keep up the great content.
HEY Mike!!! Was great meeting and chatting with ya! How was silver lake?
Always a great stopover spot. Back at colt creek for a week!
your dog is so cool love that bike ride lol
She’s something else! Old girl now. Just turned 14!

Wow thanks for the history info! 😀

Yeah it’s not our typical camping trip but it was fun for what it was. 😁
Reminds me of going to a theme park.
Very much so!
Did you find the dog wash station? And too bad it was colder. Watching the kids wake board in the lake from the License to Chill bar was fun.
No never seen the dog wash! Where was that at?
Seeing wake boarders would have been cool. Shame they weren’t running.

Cool park, wish I was somewhere that looked like that right now. But if I have to wear a wristband all the time at a place I'm paying to stay,NOPE!
Ha yeah I’m not sure what the point of the wristbands are honestly lol
Let me know when you go back. We’ll join you for sure. 45 minutes from us. 👍
Oh wow! Nice!!! Yeah let’s plan one there before years end. Maybe even this summer. 😁
@@AlliChuckAdventures will do. We’re going to Michigan and Wisconsin in July.
Looked like a great time, may have to give this a try one time. Can you share your nightly rate?
The site we had came to with taxes etc about 280 for couple nights. That’s a cheaper site lol
Looks expensive, but fun
Was tad bit pricey for sure! But was really fun place for a get away! Was nice having everything on the campground property. 😁
Was that site the same price as all the others? Did you spill over and trespass on your neighbors?
Nope premium sites out of price range lol. But we did spill into the neighbors site everytime we walked out of the Rv lmao

i WENT to High School there I just dont think I could go there. THATS OK
There used to be a high school there? Or just nearby?

Roll Tide!
Hopefully next season is a better season!! Roll Tide!!!
@ I know that’s right!
Too expensive for me.
It is on the pricey side.
KUTGW
Thanks!
Anything with the margaritaville name on it is way way overpriced and elitist.
That is true

Thanks!
