Why Katatonia? Well, I've been a fan of this band for a long time, and their music always inspired me to interpret it on piano, because of its structure, both in form and harmony. It somehow sounds really suitable for piano, so it is always fun to sit down and do my own arrangements of the songs. I'm a classical pianist and it is always challenging for me to explore new fields and genres.

Katatonia holds something in their music, regardless of the form its delivered in it still pulls from the same point in the soul.

As a diehard Katatonia fan this is not only breathtaking but an incredible accurate portrayal of some of their best material! - Whilst retaining the overall mood & vibes they have always strove to convey within their art. When i got the notification, it really made me happy, so I said that to myself, I should listen to that in a peaceful mood. Now I'm just alone on a calm hill, it's really cold here for a summer night and you made my night Nikola. Thank you so much. More often than not, instrumental covers are just good. They sound ok in the instrument they are being played in. And man is this not the case... you really captured the essence of what is being conveyed in each song. It feels as if it was being played by an all-time Katatonia member. It is that amazing. Superb! Amazingly surprised by how close this is to the real feeling Katatonia prints to their sound. Normally, something is always lost when compiling music to acoustic versions even by the bands their self. You beautifully kept the essence and you made it further by compiling it to piano. Katatonia is not my favorite music style but consider those an amazing band and you made a fantastic tribute. Congratulations

The Music of Katatonia it's for me the perfect Mix of Classic and Rock Music. The Nordic Melancholy gives the last Sequences to make me again and again happy while i listen. The Ballads are so Soultouching, and i never get bored to listen over a Decade and longer. You, NiKola....you give me the same good Feeling only with the Piano. Well doing, supernice, perfect Playing, beautyful Pianosound, Powerfull and Sensibel in the same Time. Thank you, it is ....... how i can say? Maybe i find the Word when i listen often. Definitely does justice to katatonias music 100%. It sounds so creepy and dark on piano... I mean even more so than the original compositions. Not a critique, just worth noting. I like creepy music as well very much! It would go well with a slow paced horror/thriller or psychological type drama movie.

I just love Katatonia and i just love the sound of piano! It perfectly express the deep melancholy of the band, but it feels like sorrow got separated from suffering through piano's voice, it is able to elevate it, to make it pure, just like you felt happy for being sad. Your work is so precious, thank you!
Journey Through Pressure gave me goosebumps.. The energy of the piano in that song made me chill the freak out. It was like meant to played by such instrument
