I actually bought one of these several years ago on a sale but never got around to using it, i recently hooked it up and started making some coffee and it's just great. :)
Got the slightly redesigned Delonghi version of this Piccolo, in white. I love it, from its Portal Gun meets Stormtrooper white and and black design, to the convenience. I normally use jar coffee, but with this, the quality is night and day. Excellent little machine. I got it as part of a "starter kit" with 2 boxes of pods and 2 Dolce Gusto mugs, it's fantastic.
I have a similar one only difference it's automatic and I must say coffee that it produces never fails to satisfy. A great machine that'll last a long way.
Thank you so much! I had an auto dolce gusto before and I just bought the new design today but I don't know it is manual. I scratched my head the whole afternoon how to use it because the manual drawings was so confusing. I found your tutorial and it saves my life!
Mine vibrates so hard the cup moves unless you hold it in place! How did you get yours so quiet? And also the coffee is weak from this type of machine because it doesn’t have the bar to adjust what it says on the pods! Pretty bad machine tbh, maybe the next gen with the 5 bars is better
Every variety of these pods seems to retain a lot of liquid. Any tips on how to remove before binning? Even if I leave it in the sink it doesn't always drain 🤔
Vini when the hot drink is pouring out into the cup it will then start to go clear and is just water coming out. that means the chocolate or coffee whatever is in the pod has run-out do it is time to change to the milk pod

you are doing it wrong! never ever pull the capsule's drawer out when the button is red! you have to wait for it to turn green then you can take out the capsule, otherwise you will break the needle..
Maxim De Groote probably the machine if you want really good coffee you should get a fully manual espresso machine if you do all the work by hand instead of letting the machine do it for you you can use freshly ground coffee and froth your own milk. It's a little more work but I think it's worth it. The coffee in those pods is bad anyway if you want really good coffee I would find a local roaster and buy it directly from them the coffee was probably roasted earlier that day and we'll be MUCH better than what is in those pods.
Sweeteners being bad for you is a myth, it's only bad far you if you have too much, by too much I mean literally having 50:1 but if you have a tiny amount a day (which a normal person would do), then it's honestly fine.

Docle Gusto is amazing! We have the DeLonghi version, which has an automatic stop that we set. It seems the Krups version is manual? :(

I do not know about he, but it has an app on Google Play called Dolce Gusto Timer who tell you the time to stop :)

If it's made from 2 capsules than the coffee is real not like in the Café au Lait which has instant coffee with dried milk..

Try a bit of honey instead of sweeteners , or brown sugar, taste loads better. Sweeteners are so bad for you..
