- This video is recorded with another blogger Selina Wing. It describes how to make a coffee drink, e.g. Latte Macchiato from Nescafe Dolce Gusto Piccolo Manual Coffee machine. This Piccolo manual is versatile as it allows us to choose the thickness of drinks according to our desire by controlling the amount of water with the lever on top.

How do you fill the water?
The water container is at the back of this machine, just take it out and fill it with water and put it back.

Can I choose Cold for latte machiatto?
This machine cannot dispense ice, so my guess is you have to add ice cubes to your glass after you have made your drink. Thank you.

One of the worst machines to buy from this company, the vibration will let your glass fall off when you are making the coffee and also makes the manual "off" thing very uneasy to use. Other machines automatically stops and this one doesn't.

This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.

Do the pods have to be of the correct size? I have pods that do not fit snuggly! I get only a cup of hot water!

Ya, the pods have to fit in nicely! I don't think your machine is faculty. Try to get nescafe coffee pods. Don't be mistaken, I am not a representative of nescafe 😅, I am just an enthusiastic youtuber 😃.

Why did you used 2 cups for one glass of coffee?
Only one glass is used. The two capsules used are one milk capsule and one coffee capsule. Thank you! Have a nice day!

How do you know when to stop the water ?
We have to push the lever when the cup is almost full. This is a manual one, no automatic.

Can you just put milk in the Container ?

how do u estimate the time vs the water level as there's no indicator?
You're right, there's no indicator, we have to estimate the water by looking at how high or parts of the glass that we are using. And have stop/push the lever manually. So it's a rough estimate and you'll get used to it after using for sometime.
How many seconds must u let run on the hot side once the capsule is in?
There's no timer, so just adjust by watching closely the water level in your cup/glass. 😃

How do you know when to stop.
Since this is manual, we have to estimate and keep watching until the desired amount and push the lever with our hands to the center to stop it.

The residue in the pods can be used as fertilizer for plants.
maybe stand by another glass for second serving or the rest goes to waste .
How to measure properly?
Rather difficult to get exact measurement unless you use cups that have measurement markings on it. I hope this answer helps, but if anyone has a better idea, please share 😀 thanks.

Do you need specific cups as mine always over flows?
For this Picolo machine, you can control the water input by pushing the level to the center, but of course a tall glass would better
