Yes, I wish the commentators would stick to their own language, or learn German. In a way, I hope we have not heard the last of the German language pronounced in English for Raphael Kandra!
It is sad to see him hang the boots. Obviously, his most amazing quality was his disposition. The calmness with which he carried himself, especially given the volatile characters that he was surrounded by, was truly inspiring. I am no squash expert, regardless, I didn't think he was the most gifted stroke maker. But, he was a great example to showcase what hard work, determination, and mental fortitude can do for you. I think Joey and PJ are going to miss him more than I :). Simon seemed like he was always for a tease and his smile said it all. Good luck, Simon, we will definitely miss your calm presence around.
Reading the piece there it sounds like he will play on but won’t be in the tour anymore. He’s got a family to look after and it’s probably tough making a living as a pro right now too. That’s a real shame but I’m glad he’s going to play on for his country and stuff n the leagues. The sport needs guys like Simon
A rare combination of Quality, Talent, Virtue, and Watchability. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Rosner play over the years. May he have an excellent and fulfilling time in the next chapter of his life.
An amazing player, a class act on court and those volley kills! Will miss the big guy, so many great players leaving, the new players coming will have big shoes to fill in for sure! Good luck Simon in your future endeavors. P.s. PSA can we please get an one on one interview with Rosner!

Sad to see Simon retiring. Big fan 🙏
I think im gonna miss pj and joey’s broken german commentary after he hits a good shot the most
I think a jumping cross court volley kill should be called "the German tree chopper" or "the Rosner", no matter who does it
Yep, agree !
Good luck with the new chapter in your life Simon! Thanks for the great squash you played.
Always really enjoyed watching Rosner
Great player and ambassador for the sport - think of him alongside Willstrop and Farag and the other great sportsmen of the game.
Very very sad news, I’m actually gutted
All the very best to you Simon, congrats on your esteemed career :)

That’s sad, he was a very good player and he was a real gent. Hope he can stay in the sport somehow
Apparently, he's got a job in a bakery.😎🍻
Oh, no, another one gone! I will miss Simon, on the bright side I'm hoping Raphael Kandra can take over.
:c
Retired after seventeen years on tour and still the English commentators never learned to pronounce his last name lol...
One the commentators spoke worse German than the other.
