Everybody's saying Mondstadt feels like home, but for me it's Liyue. The vibrant surroundings and calming music made me stay most of the time, claiming and crafting most of my things at the lively harbor. It just hits different especially after Xiao's quest, where I've never been to such beautiful places to where he told me to go.
I agree, Liyue is my comfort place in Genshin. I would love to live there if it was real. It feels surreal and it just feels so warm, comforting, and welcoming to me
Maybe it's because I'm from Europe, but Liyue feels like my home of choice. The scenery is different than 200% european Mondstadt, but Liyue is where I feel a sense of peacefulness, yet richness with all those old folk tales and stories waiting to unfold. Besides, seems like Genshin tries to make Liyue a cultural centre of Teyvat and I don't mind it at all. There's a lot to celebrate!

Liyue is what made Genshin Impact my favorite game ever. I got Zhongli as my first (and even 20 adventure ranks later, still my only) 5 star in the game. I loooove walking with him around Liyue feeling the whole beauty of seeing the creator and creation together. Listening to this while studying for my Kinesiology exam tomorrow, feeling like I'm a citizen of Liyue. studying in a library with the windows opened to the magnificent view of the city and the harbor in the distance. Thank you so so much for uploading this! EDIT: I was around AR 40 when I posted this. Now I'm AR 53 and have Xiao, Qiqi, Diluc and Eula on the team too! Still zhongli is my all time favorite 💞💞
LMAO XDD now i can imagine it already XDD but hilichurls doing uhh old people's yoga thing. I forgot the name, its kinda slow move but it's good for the body
When I eventually move on from this game, I'll look back on genshin having the honor of being the first game I've ever played on PC. I'll remember all of the events, stories, characters and their special and unique talents, all of the fuss over luck with the wishes. I'll remember all of the amazing music, the stress of doing all the tasks and daily commissions. this game is truly something great. some may not see that, but at least others do.
I get a very... how to say? calming... yet euphoric feeling while listening to this. It shows that videogames have something beautiful about them. Videogames causes violence? Yeah right. Genshin Impact is one of the few games that I really, REALLY love, not just because of the anime style of graphics, but the story that we are going through together. Notice how we don't have that much context ingame (about nations other than Anemo and Geo)? It's like we are learning about Teyvat along with The Traveler. The game is so beautiful, and I never want to stop playing it until I finish it. I might have to drop it for a while because of school, but I will come back to it; at least to do the daily commissions.
this just makes me think of a story about a small boy who was in a world with no other living being. He didn't need food to survive, he didn't need water to survive, he just needed a friend to survive. He had plucked some grass out of the ground and made a small doll. There weren't any rules, so he could do whatever he wanted. He started getting bored as the years passed by, and so he got up and started walking. In the distance, he saw another figure. The figure was sitting next to the tree, so the boy decided to as them, "What are you doing?" They responded with a sigh, "I have been trying my hardest from day one to find the nicest tree in the forest. Can you help me?" The young boy accepted, thinking this was going to be easy, he started walking around. He saw another figure in the distance, but this one was reading a book. It was sitting beside an average sized tree, he looked like the small grass doll he had made. The young boy asked, "Were you also asked to find the nicest tree?" The second figure nodded, without lifting his head from the book. "What do you think is so special about this tree?" the boy asked again. "Nothing. There's nothing special about that tree, or that tree either." The boy thought that he was just being stupid, so he left and continued his search. After days of looking, he couldn't find a single tree that was different than another. The next tree he saw, he sat by it, completely out of breath.
Scary boi wants to take and destroy your egg. He doesn't want you to have any eggs. You really want to keep the one egg you have because you like egg so much, so you create clones of it that scary boi doesnt know exist. If scary boi knows the egg clones still exist after he destroys original egg, he'll go after clones and destroy them for sure. Scary boi isn't very good at destroying eggs, but you think he's very good. So he makes an offer (more like threat) that will allow you to protect the egg in exchange for something else he values less than the egg, and he thinks you value less than the egg and that he thinks you think he thinks values more than the egg, a PICTURE FRAME (important to know). Scary boi thinks you will definitely refuse the offer because you like egg more than the picture frame, so he's going for the frame and promising to calm down about chasing after your eggs afterwards. This is because he thinks getting the picture frame will be good enough because he realized that you protect the egg well, and doesn't want to go through all the effort taking and destroying your egg. Scary boi thinks: you think he likes picture frame more than egg, so this offer is reasonable for scary boi to make from your perspective. Nothing alarming for you. And he's right, you're not alarmed. But not for the same reason. You know he's weak. You know he doesn't care about the picture frame. That's why he's making the deal. Both of your beliefs are right, but only one knows what he believes: you. You must be reluctant to agree to his offer/threat, and ultimately disagree, giving him the picture frame, or else scary boi will get suspicious, and jump straight to the conclusion that you must be protecting the egg with clones in order to feel safe leaving your originals vulnerable to his attacks, whose strength he thinks you overestimate, that easily just to protect something less valuable to you. By the way, scary boi is so sure, he's absolutely certain that you value the egg more than the picture frame, so the explanation that you like the frame more would be absurd for him if you accepted the offer. But scary boi doesnt know, the frame is actually much more valuable to you than scary boi thinks. It's more valuable than the eggs in fact, so you accept the offer, knowing you have backup eggs, and even if he did come after the original egg, you's protect it easily. Little do you know, bad idea. You both are aware of the following: IF you have backups, you have to store them in an unsafe location, which will be harder for you to defend, and easier for scary boi to destroy all of the backups. Now he knows. He can't take your egg because you're too strong, but he comes after your weaker backups and destroys them all. After you made the deal, scary boi thought you have backups. He strongly believed you have backups. And he was right. But does this mean he knows you have backups? This is the paradox. The answer is no. Even though his belief was right, his belief is not the same as knowledge, because his reasoning was wrong, and in a slightly different situation, with the same reasoning, he would be wrong. He thinks that you accepted the offer because there's no harm in giving up one egg out of many, not to protect the frame. But you would have accepted the deal anyways even if you didn't have backups, but primarily to protect the frame, secondarily because you knew his attacks are weak, and only slightly because you had the backup eggs. By faulty reasoning and the worst coincidence. Scary boi erroneously but correctly concluded that you accepted the deal primarily because you had the backup eggs. In truth, the fact that you accepted the deal shouldn't be enough for scary boi to conclude you had backups, but because he firmly but wrongly thought that you valued egg more than picture frame, this fact was enough. Him not knowing how much you value the frame was irrelevant, but coincidentally allowed him to formulate a false explanation for your decision making, making him predict something else about you that happened to be true.
This, this is just beautiful. I can imagine it being illustrated in a similar manner to the Little Prince. I love this, I hope you dont mind if I save this to look back on for inspiration
wow, it really makes me think what's gonna happen once the game ends. although i know that the game won't end for years and years, but i just can't imagine it. thousands of people who love the game now might not be interested in the slightest about the game in the next couple years. some people who had always wanted to know the ending (like myself) might not be able to see the ending.. once the game ends, we'll have other soundtracks, but this one is special. genshin started with liyue's and monstadt's soundtracks ,, i can't imagine how nostalgic it would be in like six years, coming back when the game has ended and just listen to the game's beginning again.
mihoyo shared a storyline preview a while back, and while most people are aware of the ~7 chapters, i think one detail slipped by most. the title of the video was /teyvat chapter/. meaning, the story of teyvat and all of our adventures so far are just the beginning. maybe it's just wishful thinking but i feel like this game is one of the most ambitious yet and still has much, much further to go.
Inazuma made me miss Liyue so much because lately most of my time is in Inazuma doing quests and stuff the vibe in Inazuma is kinda scary it made nostalgic for Liyue and it’s peaceful vibe maybe I haven’t gotten used to Inazuma yet so we’ll see
To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨️ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder : After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight 😴🧸 ( This comment isn't originally mine, but I think it can help a lot of people :) )
Just because you said that is not you’re comment but you think it can help people, make you a beautiful person and make you’re comment really kind, I hope you are doing great and just keep sending positive stuff like that, I’m sure that I make you smile hehe~ ! *Venti vibe*
Who knew liyue will be my comfort place. At first, i found liyue more terrifying than mondstadt (i'm still new to the game). I discovered liyue by accident, i was wandering by the blank map not knowing where to go. Monsters were suprisingly stronger and i was so weak, i kept running, picking random items on the wild, and discovering shits i don't have a clue what they were for. Ruin guards scared the shit out of me and i almost cursed the place. But as i progress (and got stronger, ha!) and continue to venture the land, i started to like liyue more than mondstadt, the atmosphere and music were just...good shit. I enjoy walking than teleporting most of the times. Also the story and archon quests were more interesting in liyue, i liked zhongli and childe a lot. Can't wait to experience inazuma soon, i heard there were a LOT going on that place.
@@adjiepriambada uh yes, of course. the archon quest was a bit luckluster but the world quests were nice especially ruu's (jesus, when i commented here i was full of life, now i'm burnt out hahaha)
hey y'all, I just wanted to say that you live for a reason. And the reason is to be happy and it is YOUR life! Not your mom's, not your dad's, its YOURS! So if you feel better/happier when playing Genshin, then play. Concentrate on school/work for a few hours and take the other ones just to enjoy your day! And try to smile okay? And if you do your thing, then there is nothing to be scared of in the future. Just breathe... I appreciate you
Liyue’s OST has always reminded me of coming home after a long days work, or reminiscing on the past, or catching up with old friends. And after knowing the story of Rex Lapis, the adepti, and the modern day Liyue playable characters…it just fits so well. The war is over, old friends are gone, and the job is done. It’s time to let go of the past and enjoy the present, and look forward to the future ❤ Liyue’s ost will always be one of my favorites
i wanna come back to this comment in a year or 2 so i can remember the nostalgia this game truly is the best thing that happened to me and is literally the reason im happy atm and i couldnt be anymore grateful for this game
I don't want Genshin Impact ever to go down... Because I will be hearing this track somewhere in the future and it definitely will give me nostalgia and make me cry
This game has been everything to me since its release, but due to a lack of content for end game players and a busy life after the pandemic, I decided to quit, and it's been 6 months now. Hearing this makes me nostalgic and teary-eyed remembering all the good memories this game had given me.
Same here. I have been real busy over the past 6 months and whilst the game hasn't gotten worse, its a shame there has been little improvement. But I will always come back to the music and remember those days exploring up the mountains in Liyue
I'm a new player, haven't even reach 100 % exploration on Liyue's map. So when Inazuma was released I couldn't move on from Liyue. It was a.... strange feeling. If Mondstadt is like a home, for me Liyue was a place where I could be in peace, it was such a beautiful place. I often just chilling for hours in Liyue just to hear the soundtract.
It's been years since I last played Genshin Impact. I used to play while I was in class hahaha lol. When they released Liyue, it became my favorite place on the map because of the music. I miss playing. Now that I'm working, I've never gotten a chance to play again since 2021.
Okay let's give credit ourselves to the owner of the background, he needs more views ! th-cam.com/video/R6Y2xWP8TEk/w-d-xo.html (contains other backgrounds !)
Genshin Impact music is the only music so far in my life, that made me so relaxed I want to cry it out. The music makes me feel like "wanting to be there in Liyue, Inazuma etc." I love it so much.
This music has accompanied my hard days in the master program. After I graduated and came back here, I could only shed tears remembering how hard my struggle was.
Genshin music is so diverse,it can be so calming sometimes , could take a dark turn , or is just pure hype , now i am in the mood to play genshin again
I don't know why, but Liyue gives me very relaxing, sad, emotional vibes.. I always stopped by for it. Amazing tracks Also, Qinge Village seems like forbidden colours! ( 26:57 )
I'm just imagining Childe walking through Liyue, watching every little kids smile and missing Teucer, Tonia, and Anthon (i think that's his name I'm dumb)
What I really love about Liyue is its soundtrack. It makes me feel sad, happy, content, alone and longing all at the same time. It's surprising how a soundtrack can change your mood so fast.
i haven't went back to play genshin after 4.2 but i sure do miss liyue's osts before inazuma came out, i remember standing still and just enjoying the music
I would listen to game osts as background music while I draw but for the love of me I CAN'T get myself to listen to genshin impact osts, like, at all. Everytime I hear it, it makes me feel.. sad.. and nostalgic. Back when I was still playing this game (I think it was when Tartaglia first came out), I would take a stroll in liyue while getting myself immersed with the environment and music. Genshin was the first game I ever got immersed in, so the experience was truly amazing for me. But now, all i can do is look back and reminisce the memories I have made with this game. I hope in the near future I can buy a new phone just to play genshin again 😭
I can feel you... I love Liyue, there's just so many memories of it, I made lots of friends, died so many times to that geo frog... Now that I'm AR60, I hardly play the game but I still love listening to Liyue OST... Playing Genshin on low end device is hard, hope you get new one soon
A time will come when this game will just become nostalgia and memories. We still have a few years to play but that time will come and when it does, tears will be shed as we reminisce the times we've spent on this game, the memories we've made with our friends and the new friends we've met. Until then, we shall enjoy playing this game as much as we can. See you all in a couple of years :)
I started playing Genshin a few months ago and it’s now my comfort game. The beautiful sceneries, soothing music, and the amazing stories. I understand that Mondstadt feels like home for everyone, but Liyue was everything for me. Every since I unlocked Liyue I’ve been going there a lot. I even share my screen with my friends in a call and we listen to Liyue’s calming music. Here’s a POV: Here you are laying down on the grass, looking up in the sky. You put your hand up to block the sun from your beautiful eyes. You enjoy the old man’s flute and it made you a bit sleepy. “Your flute music is lovely.” “Ahaha.. thank you, young child.” He continues playing on his flute with a smile. As you close your eyes you hear the ocean waves down the cliff. *His flute music and the ocean waves are beautiful together* “Are you enjoying this without me?” Your sibling lays down next to you and smiles. You look at them with joy and warmth. You’re now finally together. It made you feel such warmth and happiness. “You both are here again. It has made me happy that a few have been listening to my music.” “We should introduce ourselves to him.” You help them up and walk towards the old man. As you walk you wave to him. His smile was pure and it made you and your sibling smile as well. “We enjoy your music very much.” “In short, we’re your biggest fans.” As they laugh together, you look at both of them. It was like the happiest day of your life. Seeing your sibling smiling a lot was now your happiness ever since. The hardship you went through to get them back.. it was worth it. “I’m Aether” “And I’m Lumine”
I remember someone saying "its only the begining of the game and we're already missing it" when dragonspine arrived. Inazuma is out, and we're meeting new characters, getting more stories and so on.. i cant help but miss the time when i first got into genshin..liyue has always been my favourite place even after inazuma's release. Theres just something about the osts that makes me feel at home.
I am so glad people convinced me to get into this game. I don’t regret the decision. It’s reminiscent of my childhood playing Dragon Quest and gives me a sense of nostalgia and happiness. I love the game style, soundtrack, scenery and colours. My country went through a 115 day lock down and we keep gonna in an out of 1-2 week ones. This is my saving grace and what is keeping me sane.
@@iceypoppyy his currently knowledgeable backstory is available in his story quest and some archon quests (major progress of the game). you can find crumbs about him in books all around liyue. the one that includes him the most is Rex Incognito, i believe it has 4 parts. and about him and guizhong, you can just know it from the Treasure Lost, Treasure Found mission in Guili Plains. some lores also explained their relationship further. apparently guili means guizhong & zhongli but the rest are way too interesting for me to explain, you better check it out for yourself! it gave me goosebumps tbh
while im listening to this i imagine myself few years from mow coming back to this video and feeling nostalgic, remembering exploring liyue for the first time with this music in background,I have never fallen in love with a game like I did with genshin impact and in such hard times its truly an escape for me and my home
Pedih kalo ngedengerin lagu2 genshin impact lagi, keingat masa seharian main genshin dan papa masuk kamar mastiin anaknya ngapain aja di kamar. Al-fatihah untuk papa 😢❤
Around a year and a half ago, I was super into Genshin and was a day one player. I played everyday for hours on end on my phone and would look up videos on how the locations of all the geo things or whatever they’re called and would stay up for hours in end grinding for things. I loved traveling around the world and watching the beautiful videos along with the amazing OSTs. The only downside I had was that I was on mobile, so I had pretty crappy graphics. I stopped playing Genshin around October of 2021, and I really do regret it. I guess the game just got stale or repetitive to me. It didn’t have the same allure ever since it started to get more and more popular with other people making videos on it I guess. I really do wish I could go back in time and replay from the beginning of Genshin. The vibes I got from Mondstadt and Liyue were just amazing. I will never have as much fun as I did when I played Genshin for those amazing few months, and I will always hate that. It was amazing while it lasted though.
I don't play Genshin Impact anymore like I used to, I just play it out of habit, because I don't have time to focus on this lap game I used to stay before. But the memories as I played this game on call. It's beautiful
This playlist is perfect, thank you so much for this! I myself don't play Genshin Impact but I have to say, this is the best study music out there that I have come across. I especially love the soundtracks from Liyue but they are all beautiful and very soothing. Completely changed the opinion I had on video games
Liyue has my favourite OSTs so I always go there for kathryne, crafting, and forging. I like the new Inazuma ones but they're really intense and dark... I need this bright and relaxing music. Well...this and standing next to the statue of seven in dragonspine so I don't die while listening to nice music.
the beginning was so calming like wow i didn't know something so beautiful could possibly exist. Props to the composers and musicians they out did themselves with this one.
Liyue makes my heart happy Its kinda corny but: As a chinese person, it actually reminds me of the comfort of home and family (despite several conflicts i have with my immediate family). I've never been really connected with my family because of the language barrier but i still want to take pride in the history that my blood shares. Theres a whole tree with roots and branches that let a leaf like me fall and float off into the world, and i wish i knew more about it. My family and I have so many stark differences in our lifestyles and beliefs that its almost impossible to connect now. Liyue felt like a pain reliever. Yeah its fictional, but the real inspirations this world draws from are so authentic and heartfelt that it causes this bittersweet feeling. (Especially Yu Jin's performance, reminding me of old operas my aunt used to take me to.) Each of the little story quests gives me such a little burst of euphoria its almost silly. I love this stupid little fictional world and all its wonderful music
Underrated comment lol. I am so happy for you that you were able to search confort in this fictional region. As a Spanish, I truly wanna know more of another cultures, and certain aspects of Chinese culture caught my attention😊
Genshin will always have a special place in my heart, not because of the husbandos, (okay maybe cuase of the husbandos), but becasue i have gotten attached to some characters. I was f2p until Diluc's skin came out. ;-; Diluc is my first and is my favorite 5 star i have so far- with Alhaitham coming into a close second. I am saving for zhongli. I am currently AR 48 and have been apart of gemshin since 2.1. I didnt make my account until 2.7. hope everyone has a great day!
This is my favorite playlist to listen to while studying art history. Makes me feel like Zhongli lol. Honestly though, Liyue is probably one of my favorite places in any video game ever?? I always feel so relaxed
it's been months since I first listened to this, and that was when I didn't know any of the names of liyue or anything about the archon. listening to this now when I do know this makes me feel old and gives me a special feeling
the qingyun peak is my favorite place because of the music playing. it's just so peaceful and sad at the same time. i always remember rex lapis and guizhong's lore.
I quit genshin a while ago, but I' m feeling inclined to come back to it because of Liyue, this feels so nostalgic now that I quitted and I'm here almost crying to this music, I used to show desperate expressions of wanting to go to liyue if it were real and still do; the amount of dedication and prioritization the crew put to it and it's music and its lore and events is just lovely (especially with lantern rite and shen he 's quest I cried in them it is just wow) the characters are so well put especially Qiqi who's meant to be emotionless and it captures her elements so perfectly and nicely. With its quests like Xiao and hu tao and Childe and Zhongli's amazing dialouge, I feel like this game can't get any better yet it does! The music captures the vibe so flawlessly like with jueyun karst and The harbor, sophistication and beauty with Playfulness and a carefree feeling! Thank you Hoyoverse and MiHoYo for showing us an amazing Liyue!!
This mix has hard carried me through my master's thesis and countless work cases since then. Sometimes I'd get really stressed out to the point where I just freeze up and can't concentrate at all, but listening to this immediately calms me down so much and really helps me focus on taking things one at a time. Thank you so so much, from the bottom of my heart, for making this 😭💯

Exactly. Genshin, to many of us, is more than just a video game
true it's very relaxing
I love it. The music and story is awesome
genshin is my first PC game ever too, and it will always have a special place in my heart
Same sameeee :)
Same😭
I 100% agree with you. This game is amazing.
Good thing its a gacha. It will take a very long time to end.

@@yeeseng4926 MY FIRST THOUGHT
I miss the old feeling of Genshin. when the story seemed to unfold at every quest and every corner
this just makes me think of a story about a small boy who was in a world with no other living being. The next tree he saw, he sat by it, completely out of breath.
you should publish that, maybe illustrate it and make it a kids book
Him not knowing how much you value the frame was irrelevant, but coincidentally allowed him to formulate a false explanation for your decision making, making him predict something else about you that happened to be true.

wow, it really makes me think what's gonna happen once the game ends. although i know that the game won't end for years and years, but i just can't imagine it. thousands of people who love the game now might not be interested in the slightest about the game in the next couple years. some people who had always wanted to know the ending (like myself) might not be able to see the ending.. once the game ends, we'll have other soundtracks, but this one is special. genshin started with liyue's and monstadt's soundtracks ,, i can't imagine how nostalgic it would be in like six years, coming back when the game has ended and just listen to the game's beginning again.
every piece is iconic and classic, it's like how we will always remember Studio Ghibli's music from the various animation films
mihoyo shared a storyline preview a while back, and while most people are aware of the ~7 chapters, i think one detail slipped by most. the title of the video was /teyvat chapter/. meaning, the story of teyvat and all of our adventures so far are just the beginning. maybe it's just wishful thinking but i feel like this game is one of the most ambitious yet and still has much, much further to go.
as Zhongli said : (every journey has its final day) but i hope it will be a very very very long journey for us

To everyone who's studying with this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨️
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈
Reminder : After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around.
Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight 😴🧸

So, have you arrived in Inazuma yet?

Liyue’s OST has always reminded me of coming home after a long days work, or reminiscing on the past, or catching up with old friends. And after knowing the story of Rex Lapis, the adepti, and the modern day Liyue playable characters…it just fits so well. The war is over, old friends are gone, and the job is done. It’s time to let go of the past and enjoy the present, and look forward to the future ❤ Liyue’s ost will always be one of my favorites

Sometimes I open the game just to see the scenery and hear the music, not playing. I'm glad I found this.
You can tell how the developers loves making the game as much as how us love the game. The passion they put into this game is incredible.
I often just chilling for hours in Liyue just to hear the soundtract.
this couldnt be more accurate, liyue is such a piece of tranquility that puts a special place in my heart, nah in our hearts.
As beautiful as this sounds, it makes me really sad listening to it. I love it a lot still.

It's been years since I last played Genshin Impact. I used to play while I was in class hahaha lol. When they released Liyue, it became my favorite place on the map because of the music. I miss playing. Now that I'm working, I've never gotten a chance to play again since 2021.

Liyue has the best ost in my opinion, whether that's me being an asian or I just love how calming like home welcome it is
Indeed it is, I have been listening this since 2020
I'm just imagining Childe walking through Liyue, watching every little kids smile and missing Teucer, Tonia, and Anthon (i think that's his name I'm dumb)
What I really love about Liyue is its soundtrack. It makes me feel sad, happy, content, alone and longing all at the same time. It's surprising how a soundtrack can change your mood so fast.
The OST is definitly one of the reasons why Liyue is my favorite region in Genshin it's just so incredibly pretty
i haven't went back to play genshin after 4.2 but i sure do miss liyue's osts before inazuma came out, i remember standing still and just enjoying the music
I love listening to calming liyue ost because it's almost like its saying, 'You've down well. You can be productive later. Now just rest'
Literally, Liyue's full soundtrack is the only reason why I keep playing sometimes G.I. Its gonna hurt in a few years.
Here’s a POV:
Here you are laying down on the grass, looking up in the sky. You put your hand up to block the sun from your beautiful eyes. You enjoy the old man’s flute and it made you a bit sleepy.
“Your flute music is lovely.”
“Ahaha.. thank you, young child.”
He continues playing on his flute with a smile. As you close your eyes you hear the ocean waves down the cliff.
*His flute music and the ocean waves are beautiful together*
“Are you enjoying this without me?”
Your sibling lays down next to you and smiles. You look at them with joy and warmth. You’re now finally together. It made you feel such warmth and happiness.
“You both are here again. It has made me happy that a few have been listening to my music.”
“We should introduce ourselves to him.”
You help them up and walk towards the old man. As you walk you wave to him. His smile was pure and it made you and your sibling smile as well.
“We enjoy your music very much.”
“In short, we’re your biggest fans.”
As they laugh together, you look at both of them. It was like the happiest day of your life. Seeing your sibling smiling a lot was now your happiness ever since. The hardship you went through to get them back.. it was worth it.
“I’m Aether”
“And I’m Lumine”

I am so glad people convinced me to get into this game. I don’t regret the decision. It’s reminiscent of my childhood playing Dragon Quest and gives me a sense of nostalgia and happiness. I love the game style, soundtrack, scenery and colours. My country went through a 115 day lock down and we keep gonna in an out of 1-2 week ones. This is my saving grace and what is keeping me sane.

i remember getting chills when i arrived at Liyue and the music started, it's so beautiful there
the way qingyun peak's ost touch my heart, my mind, *MY SOUL*
True my boi
Solving puzzles, climbing mountains, enjoying the view, and the soundtracks are the reasons why I spend all my time in Liyue region
the song for luhua pool is my absolute favorite. it sounds so beautiful TT
Traditional chinese music just hits so different
liyue has the best soundtrack in all of genshin, i will stand by that forever. its so peaceful.
33:58 , my favourite part of this track...
This makes me feel motivated to do my work. Very effective for a person who always procrastinates
Liyue makes my heart happy
Its kinda corny but:
As a chinese person, it actually reminds me of the comfort of home and family (despite several conflicts i have with my immediate family).
(Especially Yu Jin's performance, reminding me of old operas my aunt used to take me to.)
Each of the little story quests gives me such a little burst of euphoria its almost silly.
This just wipes all my stress and tears away
Ahh imagine how peaceful it would be to just be a hilichurl sitting on the grass with ur friends listening to this...but then the battle theme plays
my first impression when i saw Liyue harbour from distance is like Hong Kong harbour in ancient with that iconic boat docking
The Crux Fleet really reminded me of Hong Kong's junk boat.
I'm listening to this while in my college art class, we're working with ink and brushes today, very inspiring.
This is my favorite playlist to listen to while studying art history. Makes me feel like Zhongli lol. Honestly though, Liyue is probably one of my favorite places in any video game ever?? I always feel so relaxed
the Luhua pool one is so beautiful to me
the first time i heard it i was so impressed idk why
it's simple and short but it just hit me
it's been months since I first listened to this, and that was when I didn't know any of the names of liyue or anything about the archon. listening to this now when I do know this makes me feel old and gives me a special feeling
the qingyun peak is my favorite place because of the music playing. it's just so peaceful and sad at the same time. i always remember rex lapis and guizhong's lore.
Thank you so so much, from the bottom of my heart, for making this 😭💯
this game is so beautiful
the characters the scenery the music everything
just wow
Liyue has the best music in the game. Especially with the chinese instruments, like the dizi flute and guzheng
Everyone sleeping on My.Tianhang Theme. So sad yet calming AgH
liyue ost piano songs reminds me of my old friends, we got seperated in a painful way and whenever i hear these songs it makes my heart shutter
