- Do you remember raging blast? Im talking the original dbz rb? Most of the dragonball community seems to remember this as one of the best game series the franchise has ever seen but is this still a great dbz game today? We are going to find out!

You HAVE to play Raging Blast 2. The combo system in that game is underrated and extremely complex at times.
Raging Blast 2 took an interesting turn story wise, but that gameplay was unmatched. I pray for CaCs in a Raging Blast style
I loved Raging Blast 2. I know it’s the black sheep of the Dragon Ball games family, but i thought it was a ton of fun and visually it holds up well even today

Raging blast 2 also has ton of characters even the movie villains henchman like coolers armored squad, android 14 and 15, and the Ova characters like Hatchiyack and Vegetas brother Tarble.

raging blast 1 super saiyan mechanic was so damn cool . when you dont charge up for a while , the hair goes into a light yellowish lokk and when you're charged up its dark yellow like the anime

Raging blast 1 and 2 literally was some of the best fighting games made simple as 😂 loved them to the world and back!
I still emulate them on the steam deck very fun on the steam deck.

@@Baruuh_natsuki_san I haven't owned a steam deck Mr. Snarky responder I've always had to download emulators to source the games I'm playing, I've seen ps2 emulators, Sega emulators, but never one that emulating games like raging blast so focus on being informative and or helpful instead of being an ass thanks for wasting my time reading your mess

the way "nice cape, make it for men" lined up with piccolos like scene switch in explosive breath was so tough
the one thing i liked about raging blast is they really tried to make us feel like we are in the show right next to bt3

imo rb1 doesn't have a hard enough difficulty as it's half the fun to watch your favourite yter rage

This game well raging blast 2 introduced me to the movie characters and fusions I never saw on Kai when I was a kid. I remember when we got internet at home I would binge watch all the movies and fights of them that was an experience I wish I could have again
Raging blast Is still graphically One of the most beautiful dragon ball games of all time. And my personal favorite.

Probably my favorite dragon ball game of all time, used to play the story mode and against my brother all the time. Thanks for coming back to this banger of a game again Doto! Hopefully you also check out the sequel as well it’s as good if not better than this one.

Raging blast is definitely in my top 5 favorite dragon ball games. This brings back memories.
Raging Blast 1's story and what-ifs are an untouched gem. Really hope you continue with this game before moving onto 2.

RB2 had better combat but the first game had better content.

Gotta say, the modding community has also made some updates with transformations in this game. Hoping we'll see some of the arcs able to be recreated like they did for Tenkaichi 4 (if that's possible).

This game was a blast. It was my first exposure to dragon ball fighting game and I loved the what if stories.
All the transformations and so many different attacks. There were even instances where the animation/cutscene for an attack would change based on who you were fighting and how much health they had. Like a unique one for radditz getting hit by special beam cannon. (It changes the input for the bonus damage and you have to get that input to get the animation)
So many unlockables I put so many hours into this.
Doto plays all these DB games, just to get folded in all of them. I appreciate it.
It’s kind of weird seeing doto struggling like this after having watched the previous videos where he tossed Nano around like a wet paper towel lol
Honestly Raging blast had and still has some of the best Mechanics in a Dbz game With Clashes of all types, quite in depth Character Customization great what if story lines, Battle field damage and real interaction, character roster and wide variety of combo strings etc etc
I could go on forever with the amount of things raging blast did that was amazing
I remember when I first accidentally found out about Beam Clashes as a kid in RB1 I was so amazed by it that, that was all I went for

Raging blast 2 has some of the best character designs in all of dbz games i this it’s definitely top 3 compared to modern games as well

Raging blast 2 was my very first dragon ball game, and i love the hell of it. When I got Raging blast I thought it was the newer version of Raging blast 2 because it had more stuff then the second one in terms of game modes. I loved these two games I wanna play em again

The Raging Blast games definitely were just the next step upgrades to the Budokai tenkaichi games in terms of gameplay
It's definitely a spiritual successor, but I don't think I'd call it just an upgrade. There are somethings raging blast did better, like customizable movesets and the signature attack feature, but I think the overall budokai tenkaichi experience works better. For one, tying transformations and ultimates to a separate resource from just ki helped prevent ult spamming in tenkaichi, and made transformations feel more impactful.
@@dontmisunderstand6041 of course the old ones do some things better but the core gameplay of the RB series with its combat and cancelling mechanics is just better Budokai tenkaichi, not to mention it keeps the in battle transformation buffs along with transformed characters having their own completely unique base moveset as opposed to like BT3 where everyone basically plays the same.
@@dontmisunderstand6041 but enjoyment of a game is entirely opinion based so it just appeals to slightly different tastes
@@thelettucebarrel7784 Honestly, I’d put both of them at even grounds. Some mechanics they each do well but also have their own flaws. I really hope they make BT4 an amalgamation of both games.
@@dalemau5 yeah that’d be ideal, I’d like it to have RB2’s base gameplay with a reworked skill point system from the Tenkaichi games, that’s really all I’d need but more would always be awesome

Raging Blast is peak! It's what Burst Limit was to Budokai but for Tenkaichi and was actually a finished game

Unironically some of my best memories of my childhood is playing this game with my friends and brother. Thought it was so unfair how Ults and Supers couldn't beamclash in the second game so I stuck to the 1st one
