    Hey David I would like to say thanks for All your tuts. I was wondering if you ever had any plans to do a tut on the app workflow for iPhone. More specifically how to compose a simple workflow for those who just don't get it like myself.

    Extremely simple and informative. I think you should show a picture of the app icon before discussing the app. That way it makes it easier to follow.

    The photo album sync to watch is handy if you want to make faces. I use camera roll, and put pics I want to use as watch face there.

    Why wouldn't you want a passcode on something tied to your apple pay, email, contacts, etc. My guess is you think it functions like it does on the phone but you actually only need to enter it when putting it on....so once a day. Definitely necessary.

    Just as I thought to myself "I can't use this watch, I can barely see it!" You showed the Voiceover and zoom settings.
    You are good!
    Is there Bluetooth on the watch? Just thinking for phone calls or even listening to music.
    Thanks for the preview!

    The passcode is only required to be entered only after you take it off your wrist. Once you put the watch on your wrist, enter the passcode and you won't need to reenter it until you take it off

    David, why is the camera on your macbook covered with some tape?

  • @webcrsn
    @webcrsn 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    One comment. The passcode feature is instrumental in using Apple Pay. It insures no one can make payments by stealing your watch.

  • @db4a
    @db4a 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hmmm. Why would you want a passcode? Below the description told you that it was to protect your data. Same reason you need one on your iPhone. Suppose you lose your watch or it is stolen. If you have setup ApplePay on that watch then somebody might go on a buying spree with your watch.

    You must have placed your order at about 3:01 am EDT on April 10th. :)
    I wonder how many people received their Apple Watches today.
    That information would be worth a LOT of money to many people including billions of dollars to some. It's likely we will find out Monday afternoon.

  • @Fedgery007

    Good video! I've watched numerous other vids as well. I now know this watch is a colossal waste of money.

  • @TylerCohn1996
    @TylerCohn1996 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    I don't know if you quite understand the purpose of the passcode... You add one so you can use Apple Pay. You enter it once when you put your watch on in the morning. If the watch is ever taken off, it locks Apple Pay until you enter that password again. *****

    I still haven't received my Apple Watch yet. But after watching all of the Apple Guided Tour videos, various expert review videos and some in depth customer based videos like this one, I think I pretty much know my way very well around the Apple Watch already. I can't wait to get mine.

    The watch doesn't have GPS. It uses the iPhone's. That's important because you can't use GPS features without having the phone with you.

    The apple watch sux, since I thought it came with its own phone and wifi system built in and did not need an iPhone, or could replace the iPhone.... apparently not. funny thing is samsung etc has made their phone watches which don't need a phone to make the watch work, because its built in.

    • @TheRulersBack45

      LadyDanielle Zana well apparently you were not paying attention when they said it would be a watch not a phone.

    • @LucasAlves-hi2kx
      @LucasAlves-hi2kx 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      What would be the point of making the watch a phone?

    • @zwitterelf

      Lucas Alves to receive and make calls as well as tell the time, and run apps..

    • @LucasAlves-hi2kx
      @LucasAlves-hi2kx 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LadyDanielle Zana jeez that's what a phone does. The watch is just an addon to your phone.

    • @zwitterelf
      @zwitterelf 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lucas Alves why have two separate devices when you can have all in the watch ?

  • @sisterluke
    @sisterluke 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    hmmm interesting so you go through all the trouble teaching people how to use the watch but say nothing about whether it's worth getting one or not. I'm sorry I guess I want to know your opinions on the watch itself, not how to simply use it.
