- Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. has finally launched the much-awaited and much-anticipated sequel to its best-selling model, the 2021 Honda City subcompact sedan. Now with an RS variant for the country, and a price that starts at just P838,000 and tops out at P1,048,000 the City is poised to take on rivals in the segment. Also on the table for updates is the Honda CR-V which got a facelift for the 2021 model year that includes a wireless charger and even a panoramic sunroof among other upgrades.

Was expecting for the turbocharged honda city
I thought irerelease na sa Philippines ang Diesel variant ng Honda City. Still ganda pa din ng naging upgrade from the previous model. The price is also good especially for the RS variant. 👍

Pricing is excellent! The v variant which was the equivalent of the vx in the previous model is priced the same! Of course minus the fog lamps and paddle shifters. But hey, it’s a new model!

Get a mazda. Yeah its slightly more expensive compare to its competitors. But you get 5 years free pms. 5 years wala ka gastos sa pms. Worry free. Then sell it after 5 years and get a new mazda with another 5 year pms. 😁 sounds great, right?
You should also consider ilan ang tao na madalas isasakay, road conditions sa lugar niyo, bahain ba sa lugar niyo. Those things.

They should put the 1.6 DSL engine on most of their lineup EXCEPT the CRV.
The 118 HP engine is awesome for type of people who will buy the Civic, the HRV and the BRV. Personally, I think the BRV would be perfect with that engine. The people who buy those are most likely just looking for a reliable car. For the CRV though, it's tough to compete against SUV and Premium Crossovers with a 118HP engine. You can talk about torque all you want but the people who buy the flagships are more likely concerned with the Top Speed over fuel-savings and supposed similar acceleration.

SRP of top of the line 2021 CIty RS is cheaper than the 2020 vx+. Good thing I got my vx+ with a Php130k discount. I'd still say it was a good deal despite having this new version released immediately. Kind of expected anyway.

For the r.s (it's pricey) but,. Nevertheless sulit na sulit na din kasi sobrang pormadong pormado narin,,..Kaya walang wala kana din hahanapin pa! Pag nagkataon 😉
haha the prices are very good.. but the price after an agent makes his magic that's the problem ROFL.
The old VX was a much better deal than the new V variant. For 80k more, I'd get the RS, which is what Honda wants us to do.
No it isn't. Safety alone, the new V variant beats the VX hands down. The only things the VX has over the V are the fog lights and paddle shifters along with very minor details like two tone alloys and a VX badge.

Specifically for the City, if you want the top of the line variant in manual trans, then find a way to import one from India. They have it and you have the option of gas or diesel.

I’ve seen and checked this new City at a dealer. Interior and Exterior of the previous generation looks better, this new model looks dull.
Unlike Toyota it seems Honda is very stubborn and not taking seriously the competition against Chinese automotive industry
I really hate that the much more expensive car they have still has a light color headliner, it makes the interior looks cheap. Brv have a black headliner and it look so damn good even it doesn't have the features/modern tech of a CR-V.
