Price: The Taigun is priced from Rs 11.70 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. The special Trail edition is priced at Rs 16.30 lakh, and the new Sound Edition starts from Rs 16.33 lakh (all prices ex-showroom pan India).
Engine and Transmission: The Volkswagen Taigun comes with two turbo-petrol engines:
A 1-litre engine (115 PS/178 Nm)
A 1.5-litre engine (150 PS/250 Nm)
Both engines come with a standard 6-speed manual transmission.
The 1-litre engine has a 6-speed torque converter option, while the 1.5-litre engine offers a 7-speed DCT.

1-litre turbo-petrol AT: 18.15 kmpl

​@@galaxypankYes...you well said....its top notch engineering....MM TGDI is also refined engine....but Germans TSI is efficient....as MM 1.2 TGDI is in between Germans 1.0 and 1.5 L ....so better to compare with 1.0 L ..milage of 1.0 TSI is 16-18 kmpl on highway ride where MM 1.2 TGDI could deliver 13.15 kmpl
