idk why but the lyric "can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all" is one of my all time favorites, it's sometimes the most simplest straightforward ones that get me the most, bc it just so human idk how else to describe it Like yeah its so fucking weird that we exist and all the things that come with living wtf what is up with that lol Its almost a question a child would ask, its just so pure Anyways excited for OK Computer, thats also one of my favs Also keep talking about the contexts of records it really is interesting, i only listened to this album not that long ago myself and i never know the context of the time it was released in i just genuinely really love the album outside of the context of what already existed when it was released, but now its even more amazing
Yeah that line always sticks out to me. And also the imagery of the lines: Anna's ghost all around Hear her voice as it's rolling and ringing through me Soft and sweet How the notes all bend and reach above the trees Always sticks with me. So poetic.
Really liked this when I first heard it. Listened to it a lot for about a month. Learnd to play a few tracks off it. Years later when when I went back to it I was like: "Holy, the levels are completely blown out through the whole album and it's kind of hurts my ears". Not sure how I didn't notice it the first 50 times I listened to it.
OH MY GOD you're one of my favorite reaction channels and this is my favorite album of all time!!! Thank you for doing this!!!
ohhhh shit
