It's pretty hilarious and on-point that this Tokyo designed base stood up to over 30 offline rockets and the raiders only got 1/5 of the total loot spaces. Even the bases that man builds are formidable.
i have never played a single game of rust, but somehow i’ve waited all week for this video to drop. you bring a comforting vibe and have such a grasp on the mechanics of this game it is easy to watch hours of your content. thanks (:
lol, I bought it and tried once or twice. @@puritan7473 Maybe start out playing solo first? In multiplayer shooters it is easier to start in teams but the crafting aspect is better to learn playing alone and only joining others if you got a grip on the basics, maybe after messing a bit with commands, spawning some vehicles, and learning how to ride them too. You can host a server on you local PC where you are the only player. That way you can make 100% sure no one else will destroy you first base while sleeping. Videos like this remind me of my grandpas old war stories and the value of never giving up! He'd tell me about Bastogne and being cut off, surrounding by enemies and with no hope in sight. But he never stopped believing and was able to break through enemy lines during one particular dark and bloody night. 3 weeks later he was safely recovering in Venezuela.

Since most comments usually tell you how awesome you are and how much joy and happiness your videos provided, let's have one with some constructive criticism. You build all these great bunkers, fortresses and bases but for the most part they never really get put to the test. Don't get me wrong. I know there are some bases that are meant to be hidden and where stealth is actually part of the design. But quite often you build in the open, using strong, multi-layered design, meant to repel raiders and designed for maximum defense. Yet, there is hardly a moment when these builds get put to the test. This video here is a great example: spending roughly 75% of the time farming and 24% with open-pvp/roaming leaving just 1% where we can see the final part of an offline raid (those guys were pathetic). Long story short: I would like to see your builds more often put to the test. That collab with aloneintokyo was fantastic, because it had everything that a great story needs. I know, it's not possible to create such content on a weekly basis but still feel it's something I should share with you. More base defense action please. :)
Maybe a server like this already exists, but I always thought these type of games would benefit from a raid window during primetime only. For example, a US East Server that only allows building structures to be damaged or raided from 5pm to Midnight. Offline raiding is such a turn off for these games to me.
I have lived for over 250 rust hours through watching your videos, and I have loved every minute of it. However, I've always wondered what the perspective is from a 10,000 hour player of the different monuments. Which ones are best? Which are the ones to avoid? Are some better for solo players? Would you ever do a Willjum monument perspective?

I usually don‘t comment but i have to say i really prefer your longer storys. If the story is longer it develops much more depth. Otherwise its like we build a base and once it is finished the story is over. But i really love your play style to focus on other things than just Pvp and searching for alternative ways to play the game. I watch you for at least 3 Years i think. And commented like twice or so. I just want to say keep up with the good work and and the cosy vibes. I hoped for a third part for this series because you spend so much time Building this base and I‘m not sure if it was really finished. You couldn’t even decorate it nice but I can understand that it is hard as a solo with that amount of upkeep and to recover from that raid. I‘m looking forward to your next adventure.
When I get that Willjum notification, you already know I'm dropping everything else I'm doing. I wanna thank Willjum for dropping so consistently and I cannot express how much I enjoy every upload. For me, watching his videos really inspires me. Now I enjoy focusing on decorating and really making my base feel cozy. I also really like how he takes loses. I swear I would be so mad in some scenarios, where Willjum just would just keep on playing and stay motivated. This man just has another level of chill. It's really fascinating.

now that, was absolutely amazing. one of the best videos i have honestly watched all year. from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for making this masterpiece.
The answer to your question as to how aloneintokyo finds the time for everything while having yo farm is probably that he does "base inspections". Maybe you could give it a hand as well
LOVED it! I mean, I love the most humble "below-the-radar" bases you've made in the past, but your increasing skill and techniques mean that you're more keen on putting yourself in the line of fire. I guess you just need some sort of alarm system to allow you to jump into action when you're getting raided.
Oh I’m so happy to see you have a solo only server. Love your videos the best, got me into wanting to play rust but I understand it’s a hard start as a newbie. Once I have the game I will need to check out your server!
Goodnight everyone. I dont even play rust anymore, or do I even watch the videos, just love Willjum's voice. Makes me a 6'3 man feel safe. I am straight. I feel weird writing this. Okay this may be a fever dream. Toodles
As someone who hasn't played Rust, and only knows as much as I see in your videos - I think my "dream Willjum video" would simply be a series of videos where you build a small, strong base to completion, unlocking everything and truly min-maxing every aspect of the base. I'd love to see some parts of the game that you haven't necessarily explored yet.
Commenting before i get lost in this video... Great player, great editing, narrating, the full package! Really enjoyed the previous video too! Appreciated the timing of the farming with the beat of the music too! Can't imagine how much of a faff that was. Well in pal. Subbed

Your videos are just amazing… you add everything a video needs commentary, action, and just being chill you never complain or whine and your videos are just truly amazing
Reasons why people like Willjum the best:
-His voiceovers
-His crazy ideas

-Soothing voice
The reason i like Willjum the best:
-His background music
n00bs to this channel talking about how they like the series. Willjum built his early channel on solo series
29:43 sounds like a beat, and "sounding a little interesting" is the best drop
When I get that Willjum notification, you already know I'm dropping everything else I'm doing.
I wanna thank Willjum for dropping so consistently and I cannot express how much I enjoy every upload.
For me, watching his videos really inspires me. Now I enjoy focusing on decorating and really making my base feel cozy. I also really like how he takes loses. I swear I would be so mad in some scenarios, where Willjum just would just keep on playing and stay motivated. This man just has another level of chill. It's really fascinating.
i never played rust before. a video from enardo just popped up in my recommended for some reason.. I ended up watching tons of those admin trolling videos, and now i just watched the first part of this series.. This is awesome.
This was amazing thank you so much for the long content!!! You're the best!!
Man what a great series! An offline attempt from a team just to get sealed on and locked down upon log-in. That layout helped a ton for you having all those peeks and gates of entry
Willy j is the truth. It's like watching an old friend play rust. Always wishing you success my guy. Another certified classic
22:32 my heart is getting ready on DB or SAR or like being sniped. I hate you for that intense sound.
I always enjoy your videos, longer or shorter, do what makes you happy! Keep up the good work!
I have never played Rust, but for some reason your videos keeps me so engaged and i cant stop wathcing! Really love your content and the relaxation i get from your videos, even in the most stressfull moments lmao. thankyou so much Willjum! keep it up
Wow, great music choices. And the edits on the beats went crazy! Great video.
I love the fact that he is always positive even when the raider stole like half his entire base😂😂
Raiders
Strangely found you through Max Mears a while ago. This 2 part series was brilliant! would love to see more and thankyou for the entertainment!
Remember when i first saw your content. I was blown away. But you only had 10k subs or something like that. I’ve taken a break from rust the last couple of years and this video popped up on my feed. And now you’ve hit 1,4 million?! Jeeez. Well deserved!!
I love these longer solo adventures. Please do more, I love coming back and rewatching them too. They're like good movies 😁
now that, was absolutely amazing. one of the best videos i have honestly watched all year. from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for making this masterpiece.
Willijum’s comments are always wholesome, no one dogs on willijum.
1:06:18 "and with that final run, i headed to behhh"
he headed to ⨅⚍ᓵᓵ i believe he said
Goodnight everyone.
The longer wipes are the best
One of your best ❤
Commenting before i get lost in this video... Great player, great editing, narrating, the full package! Really enjoyed the previous video too! Appreciated the timing of the farming with the beat of the music too! Can't imagine how much of a faff that was. Well in pal. Subbed
I love the longer series bro, your content is chill I appreciate you for being you man keep it going
This format is really cool ! It was almost heartbreaking when what happen happens , Great work Willjun !
Wiljum: "Now do you see why I vending machined my stuff home"
Everyone: "Now do you see why everyone does?" lol
With the highest anxiety nights these videos always make me relaxed, i literally cant play rust anymore i hate it ive played 7k hours but havent played in over a year for more than a wipeday but yet i love these
24:00 - Tokyo usually steals his farm from the zergs, LOL
He also is usually given materials to help him build big because he will give boom to big groups to raid him for content, I have played in large groups on the same server as him. There is usually an agreement made.
Love the content dude! Thinking about 2 hour vids of Willjum.... really like it. But dont forget your chill vibs side of rust :). Weird bases looking towards the sun go down.... Or maybe try some other monuments then the usually monuments. But all and all, always waiting for your next adventure on saterday ( and sometimes on sunday;) ). Keep it up dude!
I like multiple parts/longer videos. More closure! Your traditional videos are like infinite cliffhangers. Keep up the GREAT WORK!
i loved this series!!! first time ever watching rust gameplay and youve made a good impression on me alreadyyyy i might even consider getting rust for myself
ive only watched a couple of your videos but i would like to see more longer 2-part series videos!
I like both the longer adventures and short ones. I think just keep it switched up and we'll all be happy. Great job willjum.
Hi @Willjum ! I just discovered your channel, i'm not a Rust gamer and probably will never be but your content is pure gold :) Really chill and fun to watch
Please do some "House tours" for us sometime when you build such a base !
I think all of us would love whatever content you give us. Long, competitive multipart videos like these, or even just chill, shorter videos where you experiment with an idea or focus on cozy base making, were here for you WJ ❤ love the videos as always, gonna keep binging from here on. 🔥
Damn, I had so much anxiety when you defended the raid lol. Good stuff bro!
I love the multi-part videos as well as the collabs! Keep up the great work
