Nothing better than the final responsible person actually works on the project, the owner. Builds it as if it were his own. Came to your channel from the Morgans and enjoy watching you and the crew do great work and learning more about concrete work as I watch. Be careful in the little excavator, know you won't do that again :).
MAN YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME!!!..ALL NEW 🏡!!!..AND I MUST SAY YOUR CREW IS VERY PROFESSIONAL..THEY KNOW WHAT YOU WANT AND THEY DELIVER...😂🎉
I really appreciate how you complement your fellows when they do great work. Both Tom and Steve are the best, but all of them are awesome. Great job, love the patio!
You are the perfect contractor. You mentally graded and poured that patio in your mind "numerous times" before you started. That is the difference between a contractor and a finisher or laborer. You care as each project is your own!
What a beautiful patio. I love the curves and especially the steps. A huge improvement for the home. If they ever sell that home, the patio will be a key feature. That driveway addition was really needed there. There was no parking area. As always, TSH's picture framing edges and joints really shined up on it. In my mind, if I had a concrete company, after seeing the artistic touch that TSH gives their work, I'd just have to follow that from now on!! The extra effort and time it takes to create a mandatory, needful, relief, to prevent ugly cracks and damage, from a saw cut on plain broomed concrete to the expansion joint put in by hand and edged, picture frame look, there's no comparison. As a homeowner, if I hired a crew here in NC, I'd make sure the crew could copy TSH's design. I would have to have mine look like what I saw TSH do today! I honestly haven't seen pours anywhere around here look like what I saw today. How can anyone settle for anything else? More people need to watch this channel and see what they are missing out on!! More developers need to require pours to be done like TSH's. Dude, it's concrete! It's going to outlive your house! Why not make it beautiful? Thanks for today's video. I hope your channel grows around the globe. People are missing out.👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
GOOOOOOOD MAAAAAAAAWNIN ALL YOU YINZERS!!..WICKED EXCELLENT job !! That bottom step didn’t go all the way to the house. Why was that? Regardless, it looks great !! Love the team work yinz have. Catch ya on the next one Have a day
That was a supper nice touch with the steps and how they transition to everything around them. Another amazingly awesome job Tom. Hats off to you and your crew. ❤
I tell u what...the world tends to give u Americans a hard time....but shit can u guys work!...blimin machines!..wish i had men who work half as hard here in NZ...awesome content!
Nice job Tom. You're always going to worry about how the job will turn out. But you and the crew always have a great result and another happy customer. Stay safe.
I was told I couldn’t do it. I would be shoveling concrete all night out of a basement. By my concrete company. I poured a 16’ X 7’ X 8” monolithic wall up against a block wall that was bulging out in a basement. I made it, all though. It was definitely an experience. 🫤 And a lumber yard of bracing. 😅 Love your work. You have some great guys.
TOM, love the steps!, there's so many different ways to lay that out, but I don't know if anything will grow in that bed, (shade no sun?) but that ain't on you. Customers issue for sure. Definitely a good lay-out & finish!
Beautiful job, every thing worked in perfect symmetry, looks like a "Better Homes & Garden" Picture of a real fancy house. Loved the background music, it reminded me of the Andy Griffith Show, Opey going fishin.. lol I have been around lots of Concrete Projects, and I'll tell ya, not many Concrete Contracts pay as much attention to detail, especially the landscape around the slab, as you do Tom. Another reason so many speak well of you and team and your work. Attention to detail, going the extra mile, word of mouth will keep you busy for years. from SE Texas Bear
I agree, Tom. Looks good. A job where the homeowner let us do half round steps and wavy edged patio gives the crew more pride and looks very upscale, especially when pigmented and stamped (or otherwise textured). One technique I haven't seen you use is a brick pattern stencil with rolled in pigment. Peel up the stencil and looks like mortared bricks.
Hey kids when doing concrete underpinning on a rubber wall foundation, only remove the dirt absolutely required as you go nothing more until underpinning is completed. Just friendly advice. I looked at a job that was in a bit of trouble because they removed too many spoils.
I would like to see a video of you doing a rock pebble finish. I was going to try one one time and the customer told me he didn’t want rebar in it. That it would weaken the concrete. 😂 I walked off…..
4 steps well over code height, but how along the house side? If you watch the video you will see tons of handrails all over the place on porches in the back of the houses.@@Concretewiththehauses
My son and I just aerated a customer's yard that had just had some concrete work done. Double car drive and walkway from front of house to sidewalk. Looked like some kind of ametuer job. Concrete was stamped(??), very poorly. Saw cuts going against the pattern, 6in out of the ground, no ground work as far as finishing the soil back against the walk or drive, forms left on the front stoop and no antiquing done as promised. Just a lousy ass job. The more she spoke about it, the more I think she wanted to cry. I really felt bad for her. $30,000 for this on top of it😢😢. She did thank us for doing a quality job on our part and for being respectful of the new concrete. Truth is, we couldn't get up on it if we wanted to. Too big of a gap between it and the yard and it was simply too far out of the ground. These folks could sure have used you on this project. I told her to file a complaint with the BBB, not that that means anything these days??
18:45 will the pour video footage always be this short? The pour and 16:36 grading is the best parts to watch but it’s only 5 seconds of Timelapse 😕 you are the best on TH-cam, but you don’t record the stuff I want to watch, only Timelapse from 50ft away
As always - very impressed - thank you again - BUT - p l e a s e let somebody else choose your music 😂 The 1920's soft-shoe ramble (😴) does not complement your 2020's high-paced professional hard work 🥵
its amazing tom this guys an idiot breaks his jaw not paying attention and your insurance has to pay !!! i did steps at a funeral home because the first mason messed them up 7 years later this old lady fell off them leaving and i got sued the railing guy got sued and so did the funeral home its ridiculous!!!!!
It seems your wife or daughter in law is struggling with defining background music for your videos, maybe just play country music, I think it’ll work🤔👍
What another beautiful patio and steps. I.swear now y'all are just showing off now. Lol Awesome work as usual.gentlemen.
Funny 😊

Retired from vertical and horizontal structural concrete, forms and placement, know your pressure, know your relief when it’s rollin along
with that music playing I kept looking for the carnival tent lol
Hello Tom
Hello Tom
You have an amazing crew. It amazes me how much you accomplish in one day.
Very impressive!👍
Thank you very much!

Great guys to work with
I really appreciate how you complement your fellows when they do great work. Both Tom and Steve are the best, but all of them are awesome. Great job, love the patio!
Thank you so much
I AGREE THIS IS A VERY NICE LOOKING PATIO, ESPECIALLY THE STEPS'

You are the perfect contractor. You mentally graded and poured that patio in your mind "numerous times" before you started. That is the difference between a contractor and a finisher or laborer. You care as each project is your own!

Nice job Tom. You're always going to worry about how the job will turn out. But you and the crew always have a great result and another happy customer. Stay safe.
I agree. Nice work....the steps really makes this job !
Yes they do
That is a nice project. When that sealer goes on. It goes next level nice. Fantastic like every other job your crew does.
Thanks 👍

There’s always a way. They’re the best thank you.
Another great job from Team Hause....

TOM, love the steps!, there's so many different ways to lay that out, but I don't know if anything will grow in that bed, (shade no sun?) but that ain't on you. Customers issue for sure. Definitely a good lay-out & finish!
Nice set of radius steps. Love them

Nice layout,looks great.

Can't tell you the pleasure I get from watching this incredible work. Keep it up
Nice 👍🏻
I'd like to see your videos, Tom you are the Master of Concrete your works speak a lot of the kind of work that you an your team do 👍🏻🇵🇷
Hallo Fantastische arbeiten! Tolles Video und tolle Musik 🎶 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙋♂️
Wait wait from heavy metal to 1920's tap dance music? Touche!!
Nice job! Those steps rounded and going down are impressive! Great job!
Real nice, customer will be happy as all of them are. Your crew is impressive how they work together.
Tom nice job at the skinny dipping shack at the Morgan's Resort cabin! Yahoo
I can see why this one is a favorite! Incredible work guys (*per usual)!
That was a GREAT tip about pouring out of a full can. Thank you.
Dont realy know if i can say one is better than the other. They're all awesome jobs, but this is a favorite. Again Tom you have an awesome crew.
Thanks again!
Tom you are always stepping up! That is when you are not tipping over heavy equipment. Lol. Glad your ok!
Maybe this is your best work.
I like how you did the steps. That's looks great
I really REALLY like the finish look ❤ 👍
Nicely done.
Thanks!
We like the music!!

Steve is the best son ever! And he has MY favorite grandchild. Just saying
She’s awesome
Very nice!

Thanks for the info!

Looks so beautiful!
Good job guys
Thanks John
Very nice, as always. How deep is the window well?
I think it was about 4 feet
I love it when you create curves
Being OCD is what makes you a surperb contractor
Nice
Looks nice.
I'm a little surprised you don't use battery powered sprayers. I know you thought you'd check them out but I never heard a followup.
I have not followed up on that. Sounds like a great idea, but is it one more thing to break?
You're the boss. Delegate it! Good job for Steve, Tommy, or Matt to try out for a summer. @@Concretewiththehauses
Do you like rollin better then stamping???
Hard to pick
Nice Vid!
Thanks
Nice, why didn't you take the last step and walk to the house ?
You must have some wage bill at end of the week Tom with the amount of work you knock out👍👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸👍
They keep coming in
Do you sell the unneeded topsoil? Can someone else use it? I’m just curious how that works.
Beautiful job as always!
If it’s good topsoil, we bring it back to the yard and pile it for the next project
I really like these stairs, but .....what are they going to put on them for hand rails?
I don’t think they get a handrail on these ones
4 steps well over code height, but how along the house side? If you watch the video you will see tons of handrails all over the place on porches in the back of the houses.@@Concretewiththehauses
Radius form . Azek? PVC 4x8 sheet? Where to get them? Looks like they work great
Love it
I think how beautiful
Tom, are those rollers weighted or hollow and just enough weight to leave the imprint?
Do you have control over the commercials you have on your channel
Not very much
Do you use a water Reducer in your concrete
No
👍👍👍👍👍

Looks great.....but they could have brought the deck out closer to the patio with not so many steps...
Great looking patio and steps. How can you pick favorites when all have been very well done. Very unobtrusive music.
Glad you enjoyed it
As always - very impressed - thank you again - BUT - p l e a s e let somebody else choose your music 😂 The 1920's soft-shoe ramble (😴) does not complement your 2020's high-paced professional hard work 🥵
❤👍
That was a nice job. I was thinking it would be funny if Emily would use Benny Hill music. But she is to young to know who he is. 😂😂😂😂😂
You’re right, she wouldn’t have a clue
You need a camera person. You could pay them with exatra money earned.
I agree definitely looking to hire somebody to do that interested?
its amazing tom this guys an idiot breaks his jaw not paying attention and your insurance has to pay !!! i did steps at a funeral home because the first mason messed them up 7 years later this old lady fell off them leaving and i got sued the railing guy got sued and so did the funeral home its ridiculous!!!!!

What happened with Elliot? Did he go back to school? Move away?
