18 years ago Juha came over and totally dominated the GNCC. Certainly the caliber of our riders has increased dramatically since then and I think it's also a testament to just how great he was. I believe now our riders are now on par with the best European riders and in this format we now have a decisive advantage. No matter what it's always good to see the best European, Oceania and Americans mix it up. Good luck to all

@@JaumeSolerMovies Back in the day a lot of the top off-road riders were essentially retired motocrossers. Ty Davis, Rodney Smith, Guy Cooper, Mike Brown…. Don’t get me wrong, there were some dedicated off-road only riders, but what you see now is Offroad specialists who are intensely dedicated to their craft. I had one of the guys tell me that Enduro GP riders were their model. In the 1970s European motocross riders planted the seeds for American dominance in the 80s and 90s. I wonder if now the European off-road riders have not done the same thing.
I have been following Gncc's for over 15 years now and I totally agree with you. Watched one of them throwback vids with Strang doing the commentary and he was saying how he and everyone else was so slow compared to now. Even he says they have all really stepped it up a notch.

Porque van con motos MX y no XC. Quantas horas de carrera fue, y supongo k mucho calor no? Impresionante el video. Saludos
En USA corren con motos de MX adaptadas a enduro. La carrera fueron 3 horas nonstop a algo más de 30 grados en clima tropical.

Son 350 4 tiempos todas?
No, las motos de placa verde son 250, las de roja 350 o 450. El resto va con la moto que quiere, hay de todo, incluso alguna 2 tiempos.
