makes a big difference to be able to coordinate & detail useful information for site guys when you can understand more of how good installs are done, thanks
I’m an apprentice commercial plumber/ heating engineer for the nhs, work in plant rooms like this quite regularly, looks scary at first but it’s quite simple when you break it down, love watching your videos helps me👍
Worked in London as a pipe fitter and one of the first jobs I was put on was painting all the gas mains. Inspector came in and said you cant have any paint on any of the welds before testing. Spent nearly 2 days scrubbing away with a gallon of Nitromors. Hell 💀. Just about forgot about that, thanks for reminding me of the good ol times! 😂
@@capraniplumbingandheating very good camera work, editing and comprehensive explanations. Also like how you open up the floor for discussion. Good thumbnail too bro.
Mattys toolbox talk more like his lunchbox.. Great educational video for everyone to watch and for new apprentices. The good thing for Matt and George if they forget anything about the job they can always press rewind on TH-cam... who makes matts sandwiches? and ask George if he's ever been called Seòras? This is short for George in Gaelic.lol I'm looking forward to the future of caprani videos! You work very very hard Nathan i hope you and your family are benefiting the rewards. Thanks
FairPlay nath very interesting always thought commercial was a nite mare but the way you explained it makes more sense as i only do domestic work myself keep up the great content as always on to the next on
We’ll done , teach the youngsters , I work on a Steam systems, hvac , swimming pools, medical gas , a bit more technical. Worst scenario if BMS fails you got to call programmer , but still leave on a panel board in hand and on that actuator valve you can adjudge the flow manual to blend the hot water temperature. I love it , that’s my cup of tea 😂
Hey Loving the video’s Luke is doing so well if he only been doing commercial for few months. And he explained the pipe sizing really well. I would love to see a video on the Job logic system you use in the office.
As far as painting the gas pipe you only need to paint the iron not the copper. The painting is generally a coat of red oxide for priming and yellow ochre for identification and corrosion preventative
Top video as always boys!! But correct me if I'm wrong but the copper pressed gas pipe doesn't need painting as it could eat into the rubber seals, gas tape is sufficient enough.
Im sure the paint is called ochre 😅 A killer whale scheme would look very nice though.. Another great video, keep up the good work, caprani style 👍 Ill defo be watching every one
Sort of. When temperatures get close to their max E.g 45-50 degrees it will start to turn off flow from Low loss header and take flow from underfloor return.
@@capraniplumbingandheating I have my ticket mainly just to test a couple of sites I look after, I didn't want another contractor getting their foot in the door as they are really good customers. You come across a few when looking at other jobs that haven't been serviced in years so you can pick work up this way as well
@@capraniplumbingandheating I did mine through able training in Derby, there will be probably a place near Hull. I'm sure once you've passed you get the qualification for life ( not a resit every 5 years). You just have to complete the online amendments if and when required. The expensive bit is the test equipment but I was lucky and borrow off of mate for a small fee. You can apply to go on your water boards website as an approved tester

What pressure do you top the expansion vessel up to? And how do you no what pressure should be in it?
Always refer back to the schematics bro 👊🔥
U name it I install it
you don't paint copper yellow orca. just label it, you only paint the steel yellow. or label that often.
