Pleasant Valley from Crow Lake Way - Wide Open Vistas

This is probably the best viewpoint along the Crow Lake Way Trail. This is about 2.8 miles up the trail, after you get on the ridge line for a short while. You’ll know you’re in the right spot because you’ll have walked through some unburnt, pristine subalpine forest for a bit, while having stunning cliffside views to your left. We hung out here in the shade for a good hour after having lunch near Grassy Saddle. For not having a volcano or other easily-identifiable prominent peak to look at, this was pretty good for eye-candy. After I tuned this video off, I got some good film of an Upland Larkspur in the sun.
