Ravenclaws looks like what you would imagine all mages colleges to be like. Something out of warhammer and elder scrolls lore
You could also imagine it as a part of Rivendell from the LOTR. Same for Slytherin common room as Erebor, Hufflepuff as Shire and Gryffindor as Rohan

Well I haven't seen the others, only ravenclaw and hufflepuff but I really like the privacy that ravenclaw beds offer xD
I find it more strange how mc robe is dirty, no matter which one he joins.

As beautiful as the fan art over the years has depicted it. Especially the blue background colours. And the many bookshelves. Rowena prized and valued intelligence. The blue of wisdom.
The bathroom and the bedrooms are my favorite in the Ravenclaw common room. They’re gorgeous!!! Also it looks like a gorgeous gorgeous library!
Also, it seems Ravenclaws are the only ones that give the students privacy.
I was in love with this common room ever since the preview couple of months ago. Every one of them has their own beauty and personality but this one is just perfect. 😁
I was only a little bummed when I realized that the Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, unlike the Slytherin and Hufflepuf, dont actually have seven dorm rooms for each year in school, but only have three or four.
I just dont get it, considering they went the extra mile with so many details of the huge castle, why they couldnt add three/four more floors of copy pasted rooms for Ravenclaws and Gryffindors and match the number of seven.
And the wildest thing is, I think that seeing the towers from the outside, and counting the windows, I think you can actually see there is space enough.

@@nicholasrobinson5508 True, I noticed that. However, they do, they are just not in the dorm room itself but rather nearby.
Actually to further this, specifically about if it would fit, im pretty sure they are instanced and culled when you leave anyway. Like you cant look out or in the windows, they hide loading areas etc. so i dont think it would would even HAVE to fit for it to work

But there are in fact windows in the Ravenclaw tower, going down six floors below the common room level. And the seventh year students level right above it. They have the same unique design. So they had to have at least planned it at one point? They specifically chose that number of floors. Thats why I got the feeling they just cut three floors to save time. I am not sure on the Gryffindor dorms yet, haven't seen the girls section fully explored yet so I dont understand it fully. Bu the boys have just three rooms I guess 😁

I can't believe how cozy and spacious ravenclaw common room is!! Also the colour scheme and bunk beds??!!! Man.. this common room already enough reason i now want changing the house. ❤️

The ravenclaw common room is so stunning, the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner I think. The bath tubs seem to have rust in them.

in the books in not about ‘correctly’ awnsering the riddle but just showing your train of thought on it is wisdom enough to come inside, you just have to have a witty answer even tho it’s not correct
The most homey and aesthetically pleasing common room. Hufflepuff is too cartoony and claustrophobic, Slytherin feels like a bathroom at a dive bar, and Gryffindor is good but not as airy or alive.
Agreed. Shame there's pretty much no reason to ever go back to your common room in this game. I went back once in 40 hours just to open the chest.

i kinda find it unfair honestly, gryffindor's bedrooms are much much bigger and have more than one table in a room, and for a house that's filled with smart students they only gave one table a room......
i dont even wanna mention the disappointment i had seeing the lack of bookshelves and books in this common room....
I agree. I actually prefer Gryffindor common room; it feels homey and warm and airy. Ravenclaw's feels too cold and I expected more cosier armchairs and sofas and bookshelves for a house that reads a lot.

if you're going to explore hufflepuff common room, I'd suggest being a girl. Boys there don't have access for second floor(balkons) strangely enough.

@@thekingsta2419 yes. :DD . Second floor is for girls only. Granted there isn't much there, but still - balkonies, some cozy sitting/laying places. Total discrimination :).

Rawenclaw here, I love the common room itself but the dorms just somehow feel a bit uncomfortable to me. Probably it's the white furniture (I don't like wood furniture in that colour, I immediately imagine how it looks when the paint starts to fall down but I guess it's just me). And maybe there should be more books and comfy armchairs... it's still great though.

Arent mirrors quite easy to do in video games? Whats happened here 😅
Mirrors are often done by replicating the entire room and character model. It's not a simple "refelction". It's normally another room with everything duplicated and flipped to just look like a mirror.
Considering how detailed this game is... It would probably have caused loading issues in some areas. So they just chose to not do it and went with a basic reflective surface instead.
Also keep in mind the game takes place in 1800s. So mirrors in this time period aren't the same as modern mirrors

Good idea, but not correct unfortunately! Although you could say that Hogwarts' mirrors happen to be as old as the castle, which would make them much older than 1835. But if we're going to make things up, then we could also say that they just haven't been cleaned in a while.

According to Pottermore, it was done in the 18th century, based on muggle inspiration. That was also when Corvinus Gaunt, a student had to hide the entrace of the Chamber of Secrets as it was right where a new bathroom was planned.

Yeah, some of the others have bathrooms near-by, in the wing of the building, but not the common room itself

Ravenclaw's riddles by far are not yes or no/ true or false questions. It's more into philosophical stuff which doesn't have exact answer like math.

Its a book reference, In half blood Prince, after seeing a spell he casts, Snape becomes suspicious that Harry has his old copy of advance brochure making (which he does), And so asked to see his copy. Harry obviously being protective of the book, took rons and gave him that instead, Snape asks why it has roonil wazlib written in if its his, and harry tries to pass that off as his nickname 😂

@xoxo gossip girl just saying you can always fast travel meanwhile you have the underwater area and the unique Victorian gothic environment in the dorm which is neat and the characters are actually nice to hang out with more than with Ravenclaw tbh.

Well i wasn’t sure of the rental rates or local amenities so i didn’t know what else to do, i do know there is a school thats a very short commute so that is good.
