Hi, could you answer a couple of questions about this please?
Is this a way of connecting the DVR to the WIFI so you can view it remotely via a phone etc if you download the Hikvision app? Also if the Internet drops out and reconnects will it automatically reconnect or do you have to go through all the settings again? Many thanks

i recently bought TP-Link Archer T2U Plus, but it can not connected my DVR (the same type as yours here) to my WiFi.

Hi what model number Tenda dongle is required. I have seen several for sale on amazon but none of them say they are suitable for a dvr. I bought the tp-link 300Mbps TL-WN823N and ehen plugged in the dvr doesnt see it.

@ADS Hikvision Tech , excuse me but could you tell me how did you use both the mouse and wifi adapter at the same time. my DVR has only one usb port at the front. behind, there is another one but it's labeled as a video output. is it okay to connect my mouse to that port?

Hello. I need help please. I just bought a cctv SriHome brand, the unit version is SNVS001, I tried to connect using the lan cable to the ethernet port on NVR but it cannot detect my internet. First i thought my lan cable have issue but when Im using the same lan cable connect to my laptop and android tv, it function well. How am i supposed to do? Please help me.

watch this link, 1 connect ur dvr to router using lan cabe 2 go to network enable dhcp. dvr get ip automaticly. 3 then platform access enable hik-connect
after enable hik-connect dvr will going to online. then install hik-connect on ur mobile. 5 register with ur email or mobile no. then scan dvr qr code

Only Tenda Dongle will Support or others Brands.
iDS series dvr only support connect to wifi with Tenda device. Other NVR need wifi customized firmware.
