I don't know why copying CW is so AMAZING to new ops. I learned it from a page in the Boy Scout Handbook in the late 50s, and listening to QSOs on 40M. I got my first ticket WN8FKZ in 62 and have NEVER had a moment's inclination to any other mode. My dad told me that, as a boy, Tom Edison sat outside the rairoad station and every time he recognized a letter, he would write it down. I do not understand why people make like it's a big deal, sometimes even.paying $$$ for recordings, when there is all the CW in the world on the HF bands! Sending? Practice is something anybody can practice any time, anywhere. I used to (and sometimes still do) "head send" street signs or "brain messages" while travelling. BTW this isI.NOT a Blue Racer. It is a Presentation, a Vibroplex Original (1967 Standard, like mine) with a chrome base, jewelled movement and red paddle & knobs.
@@j.d.schultzsr.9215 (why copying CW is so AMAZING to new ops) Well not sure your comment is ranting or praising or if it even deserves a reply, but I have some time to kill, so I will say that,,, some people think of the Statue of David as a boring statue of a naked man,,, other will sea magnificent piece of historic art, a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture,,,, we all see the same object differently ... let us new ops marvel at the sound of diths and dahs,,, we are the ones who will carry the torch for the next 20 years... if not for us who marvel at this (boring to some ) noise,,, CW will disappear in the near future . Perhaps you do not know why copying CW is so Amazing to us,,, and quite frankly I don't either,,, but it is and sounds amazing and that is all that matters,,, embrace it and run with it,,,, do not put us down,,,
Simply. Becouse if you see, there is no sufficient space on the desk to send with the arm placed on it. But most important, Who say and most important where is wrote that is necessary send with the arm on the desk? If i have the place to do it is ok. I can recovery fast the arm but if not ? Where is the problem ? I’m sending CW From 15 years in this way!

I don't know how you can, or why you try, to send with your arm hanging off the desk like that
