I live in Maryland. We get alot of natural disasters with barely any help from outside states or any recognition from the media. It’s pretty sad.

Not for nothing, but there is nothing about the lava flow that devastated the community in Hawaii. It may have not affected a large population/area, but nonetheless its a frickin lava flow! You always hear about floods, tornadoes and hurricanes but hardly lava
you're right, the lava in hawaii is also one of them should be reminded.
Take note that all of these videos were on the east or west coasts. If it didn't happen there, it didn't happen at all.
Ellicott City, MD has experienced similar flash floods in the past... some places are just prone to that sort of thing

The US is located in one of the most hostile places in the world. Hurricanes in the East Coast, tornadoes in the Centre, floodings all over, and wildfires plus earthquakes in the West Coast.

Commute in their Humvee 100 miles a day to work. People live on beaches and river banks, and act shocked when a hurricane hits. Tragic loss of lives, and everyone else in the country has to pay for it in taxes and high insurance rates.
