5:26 - Looks a lot like the old 286-486 generation builds I started in, when "building a computer" meant taking a few non functioning machines apart and frankensteining a working "IBM Compatible" machine out of the parts. Cable management? What's that? Ribbon cables for DAYS!

I just recently made a desk from a 98 inch ikea Karlby countertop and the alex drawers, I would suggest getting the signum cable managements for some of the people who didn't do any management on theirs. I grabbed two of those and an extra leg for the back middle to manage the cables and it makes it nice and easy.

19:21 it's a Supernatural themed build. SW and DW are for Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester, the car is actually a Chevy impala, and the license plate is the same as the car has in the show. The car being sat on top of a pentagram was the giveaway for me.
Maybe I’m completely wrong but I feel like I might have been among the first group of people to do that “Alex drawers with a stand alone ikea table top” setup. I remember feeling so clever for figuring that out way back in like 2010-2011. I remember comparing all available desks with the same amount of drawer storage and desktop space and they were all at least double the price of the ikea route. I’m on my second iteration of that setup now and both have served me incredibly well for very cheap.

@@chocorocky5705 Like we left-handed people even more productive while sitting against PC. For us there is no need to switch hands if we need take notes or use phone. In his case, for each game he needs constantly bound everything around arrow keys otherwise his hands would be unconfortably close.

@@gabruiz8456 At resolutions above 1080p, the difference between AMD and Intel CPUs is negligible as you are more limited by your GPU. As for productivity, anything that can make use of more cores will (e.g. compiling, rendering, some encoding/transcoding depending on the program used) run better on CPUs with more cores (e.g. 3900x/3950x/10980xe) and since AMD provides more cores at lower price points and stupid amounts of cores at the higher price points (e.g. 64c/128t Threadripper), you tend to get better performance per dollar with AMD. This doesn't mean that Intel sucks, it just means that if anyone asks me what CPU they should get, I will recommend AMD over Intel unless that person really wants a Intel CPU.

ikr. My pc has a laptop hdd from a 2008 netbook (anyone remembers those?) and I said "okay,I'll use this until quarantine ends" To this day,my pc is still with that "shit drive",even though it was supposed to be a temporary solution. I might even build a new pc before I even buy a new hdd (if I'm lucky enough,wich I am not)
Fun fact:laptop hdds make desktop pc's as unreliable and barely usable as my mom's laptop running shitdows 10
